How to Cancel Gotogate

Despicable business. I know the airline has refunded them (because I called the airline) and they refuse to reimburse me. They keep sending emails threatening to charge $30 if they have to help with refund. Believe me I’ve done all the work, and I have gotten the refund processed. But this app fails to reimburse customers and their phone line makes you wait on hold forever and then answers with a dead line. I wish I had never clicked on this app for purchase of airline ticket. If you’re reading this, please do not ever ever ever book through this app. Book with airline directly or use any other travel agency. This is not a travel service, but a travel disservice. Seriously I would’ve had my money back from multiple covid-cancelled flights and wouldn’t have had to waste so much time trying to fight this app. I haven’t received a penny back from them and have three canceled flights through them :/ Other friends on the same flights already have their money back because they didn’t use this app.

Unbelievable experience, in the worst way. I was told last minute my flight was cancelled (I found out it wasn’t), it’s taken me over 3.5 months to get a refund, no emails have been replied to other than one, and they’ve taken 4000yen off my refund to line their pockets. All I can hope is that they cease to exist and for this to happen we need others to refrain from using them and to continue to assassinate their abysmal reputation. Avoid. At all costs. and to this app, do not reply with your generic response telling me this review doesn’t apply to the app, everything needs doing to ensure your demise and suffering, and do not dare ‘hey’ me either.

First of all I ended up paying 300 more than I would’ve if I booked directly with the airline !! They charge me for two checked bags but I’m only able to take one because I didn’t “check” the second passenger bag in the options they give you !! Why ? Why would I pay for a second bag and not want it !?!?! In what world that makes sense , that’s 70 dollars extra , where does that money even go ??? Please do yourself a favor and never book through this website/ company , I only picked it because google recommended it as the cheapest option and honestly is going to make the experience worse .

Flight information doesn't match the airline. I got an email from this app suggesting I install their app, so I did. The flight info for my booking in this app does NOT match the airline's information. What good is useless misleading information going to do me? Why would I use an app that's going to make me miss my flight? I downloaded it to be able to check in early like it said in the email (couldn't find this feature) but I'm uninstalling because the app has bad info.

I booked a flight with them. When I received the confirmation, I noticed there was an error. There is no way to get help through the app. I called their customer service number - waited about 45mins to speak to a live person, who had no idea what she was doing. Kept putting me on hold every 5mins. I then asked to speak to a manager or supervisor. She hung up on me!!!! A total of 1 hour and 30mins. Problem still not resolved. I would highly suggest don’t book with them!
