As a working musician, I need my gear to perform every time. This app is fantastic for me as when we do smaller gigs, I prefer not to hire someone to do sound for the band. Larger shows we use this app with our X-32 console and a sound man but I’m still able to make small personal adjustments on the stage to my in ears. At smaller shows, we use the X-Air 18 and run the sound ourselves. Being able to control everything from my iPhone is really the best of both worlds. I do NOT understand all the whining on here about price and in app purchases. The bottom line is, as a professional musician, we spend literally THOUSANDS of dollars on guitars, tune amps, stomp boxes, wireless mics and pa gear. The idea that $10 to have an app that CONTROLS YOUR ENTIRE LIVE SOUND is somehow not only too expensive but offensive is laughable!! If you spent $5000 on your pa but are too cheap to spend $10 on the app that makes it easier for you to use and allows you to access all its features then you really need to re-examine your priorities! Thanks for all your hard work in this app and please continue to create!!!

After the official app for the x-33 failed to connect, I tried this app and it works flawlessly. After entering the ip address of the mixer, it connects immediately and all the features of the x-33 are available remotely. We like the layout better than the official app because the controls are bigger and easier to manage especially if you have larger fingers. The layout of the controls are very intuitive and after flipping through all the buttons and tabs it is quickly clear that all the features are there and easily controlled. All the level meters work giving essential feedback for proper mixing. It even has its own added features. The cost is very reasonable for the full-featured app that it is. The only negative is its power consumption using around 35% in two hours on an iPad — not a big issue when this is the only app that works, and if the official app did work, we would still choose this one. Thank you developers for all your hard work in bringing this well-developed and thought-through app to us.

This app is great! Most other apps only allow control of bus mixes on the X32, but this offers everything the iPad app (Mix-32) offers. I used it on a gig last night after buying the full version. Ended up putting my iPad down and using my phone to mix. Very easy interface. Touch and hold to unlock more options (instead of dragging up and down the tiny gain knobs, you can touch and hold to bring up a bigger faded style gain.) I enjoy this app big time. Perfect for events where you only have <8 channels and wanna kick back and wait for the show to end. Also, might I add, I compared the RTA and compression analyzers to the iPad app and the board, and it’s just as good. Totally worth the 7 bucks....just wish I knew about this app sooner! Don’t know how many times I’ve had a full phone battery while my iPad is dying during a show.

We use a Behringer X32 rack mount mixer at our church, so the only practical way to mix is with an iPad. I was always skeptical of using third party app to do mixing, so I always just stuck with the default app that Behringer makes for their mixer. Switching over to this app was one of the best decisions Ive ever made, and I am very happy with the results. I am a huge fan of how customizable the layout is, and how intuitive it is as well, reminds me of the custom encoders on the full sized X32. One thing I would love to see is the ability to edit scribble strips in the config of each channel rather than having to do it in one main list. Long story short, spend the extra money for the premium version of this app, it’s probably better than the mixing app that comes from your mixer’s manufacturer.

I hardly ever write anything on here, but I felt like this time deserved some sort of recognition. I am responsible for the audio and video at my Church. This app has been an absolute God-send for me. I utilize the app during morning practice, the regular service, and pretty much every time I am doing anything involving my X32. Recently I was having issues with connecting to the board. With one of the recent updates, it now appears there is a troubleshooting button that has become available. I was able to troubleshoot the inability to connect, and found out that a setting was different on my iPhone. I assume it occurred when I updated the phones software. I am very thankful for this troubleshooting ability, and I absolutely LOVE this app. It is worth the initial investment!!!
