Does not pay out rewards/reimburse costs

Originally, this app paid out within a few days (in 2017), lately it changed its policy to up to 15 business days, i.e. takes actually three full weeks after you have delivered the items to get paid. If you add the time between buying and delivering the item you are easily looking at five weeks which would be far from perfect but still acceptable. However, on my second last trip it took several emails and I was only paid days after I should have been paid according to this app’s own policy. For my last trip, it’s been 24 business days since I delivered the items and I still haven’t been paid. this app owns me a few thousand dollars. this app has by now moved to ignoring my emails after initially sending very well drafted emails with very generic excuses. It seems that these excuses were drafted for a large number of users and may very well be purposely misleading. I am very concerned that this app is not paying a large number of travelers and that it may very well be unable to pay.

Don’t use it !

Worst pay I ever saw in life! 14 business days after delivery and have not received the money I invested in the product and my reward. In other words, it's not worth it, you get 15, 20 dollars to take a 100 dollar thing and it takes forever to get the money back. And the support is saying that will send the payment after 10 business days of delivery, says that the bank may take time to put the transfer to you, my payment method is PayPal (instant payment) if they had made the transfer it would have taken maybe 1 minute.

Pior pagamento que já vi na vida! 14 dias úteis depois da entrega e ainda não recebi o dinheiro que investi no produto e minha recompensa. Ou seja não vale a pena vc ganha 15, 20 dólares pra levar uma coisa de 100 dólares e demora uma eternidade pra receber o dinheiro de volta. E o suporte fica falando que vai enviar o pagamento depois de 10 dias úteis da entrega, fala que o banco pode demorar pra colocar a transferência pra você, minha forma de pagamento e PayPal ( pagamento instantâneo) se tivessem feito a transferência teria demorado talvez 1 minuto.

They have stopped paying travellers!

I made several trips and was always paid fairly on time until my last trip. I delivered all of the products I purchased 40 days ago and still have not been paid. The only response I got to my several claims was that they were looking at my case. The same has happened with several other travellers and the same generic response was given to them.

No user activity. Can not delete account.

I posted 2 different items on here and waited for months but there wasn’t a single response. It’s strange because there are 3 international airports in my city and I even offered to pay additionally to the standard commission.
Now I would like to delete my account and my personal information but there is no apparent option for this. “Log out” is an option but it does not achieve either of these goals.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP

This is a terrible app. I haven’t yet received my money back although I delivered several orders to shoppers 4 weeks ago and my money are circling somewhere making money to this app. I think that Grabr works only for shoppers because they receive their purchases on time. Use it only if you want to freeze your money; also, very standard and poor response from support, not helpful at all.. stay away from this services

I made a delivery in Brazil and they said to me they would pay me in 10 business days max. It’s been 20 business days and I didn’t get a penny. It’s a shame a company like that make a mistake like this. They didn’t even give me a date that i’ll be paid. Not happy with Grabr , I’ll not going to use again and I don’t recommend it.

Fiz uma entrega no Brasil e me disseram que me pagariam em 10 dias úteis. Já se passaram 20 e ainda nada. É uma vergonha que uma empresa dessa cometa esse tipo de erro. Eles nem me passam uma data prevista para o pagamento! Não estou contente com o aplicativo, não vou usar novamente e não recomendo.

Late payments, super late

Sounds perfect for the shoppers, but for traveling people is a nightmare to get your money back. Long waiting time for payment ether offers you pass your product you still have minimum 10 business days to get paid, and take in construction you purchase the product 2-3 weeks before( you going see your money back in more than a month) sometimes the shoppers don’t have time to meet and you are stuck with the product what you don’t need and you can definitely not return.

Used to Be Good, Now Ran Like a Ponzi Scheme

Used to be seamless and easy with quick payouts. Now you read all the reviews going back months with many delays and all you see if good reviews from the people getting items and complaints about the process of getting paid.

They changed their payout timeline to three weeks after delivery and blow through that new deadline pretty often. They can only blame system issues so often.

Stay away and don’t do it - you are risking your money. Why else would they change the payout timeline to 3 weeks if they didn’t have cash flow issues???

Worst customer service and payback

First of all I’d like to say that it’s been several days (weeks) since I delivered and I haven’t received my money back yet.
I have been claiming but there is always an excuse. Next week the finance department will yo you and so on.
I have used this service several times and it used to work very good. They used to pay you through PayPal. Now they say that they will transfer the money to my bank account and I’m still waiting. I wish I have seen these reviews before but as I already had Grabr and use it satisfactory, I did t know about this.
Hope they pay me back soon but it seems they are playing with our money

Notification issue

I keep getting a notification "red circle" for a message, even when I've already read all of my messages. I think this is on purpose so the customer "keeps engaged" with Grabr . That's abusive and of very bad taste.

Edit: As the other review said: the support team is a joke. I got automatically matched to an unwanted traveler because, according to them, I "pre-approved" that, when in reality I never pre-approved anything. And then they blocked my credit card after I cancelled only two times. Also, the support team took more than 48 hours to reply.
Another issue with the payment was that the keyboard was not showing on the screen when it should be.

Worst app

This is the worst app I have ever had. I had a trip coming out and a friend suggest me use it. I did one accepted delivery offer then got locked out of Grabr for breaking rules. Contacted support and after several email exchange they let me back in without explaining what rules I broke since I only attempted to use it twice.
This took me a long time and couldn’t make any other delivery offer.
Then I try again and app keeps saying it can’t find my trip then support says I didn’t have enough time between trip and buying products. Like what? If I am offering it’s because I know I have enough time.
If you like having a headache while making money use Grabr otherwise it’s not worth it, AT ALL.

The support team is ridiculous. It has been 18 days since I delivered and this app is still withholding my money. this app hasn’t responded to my email which was sent 3 days ago. I received my payout notifications on June 3rd and June 4th, yet nothing in my bank account. They said that I got the red flag on their security system and asked me for my ID, flight ticket and receipt. I contacted my shopper to ask if there were any issues and she has also helped me to reach out to this app. This is my first time as a traveller and I am worried this app will not pay me. How can they hold someone else money? Please be careful if you plan to travel with this app and using their application. This is my first time and will be the only time. It has been 18 days and I will take all the measure I need to get my money back. Ridiculous. #MyGrabrStory

Needs lots of work and improvement

I love the idea! Who doesn’t want to get payed some extra bucks while traveling? If it is part of your routine and you have space on your luggage, why not? You get to meet awesome people from everywhere in the world and is fun until Grabr stops working, customer service is a nightmare, and they take forever to pay you. In fact is being 40 days since my delivery and not a word about my money and the funny thing is they charge a lot the people buying aka shoppers and they charge it right away from the day the offer is accepted so they have my money way longer than 40 days, what are you guys doing? I’ve been trying to get some customer service but I think they just don’t care. Hey, if you are reading this, please, save your time and your money. Spend it while traveling because they are probably going to scam you.

Makes using the website easier

Grabr is great. I have to use the website a lot and Grabr is easier to use, especially when on a mobile device. The functionality of Grabr is 100% of the web version, but in a simple and clear format. The push notifications are clean enough to help me easily dissect when I get good offers.

Convenient, personal service to get products from abroad

I love what this app is about - connecting people who want to shop products abroad with travelers who want to make some extra cash on their trip. It’s safe, convenient and a personal way to access products from around the world. Highly highly recommend as both a shopper and a traveler.

THEY DONT PAY TRAVELERS

It's been over 23 days since I delivered my product and until today I haven't received the money. They make false promises saying payment has been made. They tell you to read about payments and learn more. They should read and learn better how to be responsible.

i love Grabr and the service it provides. It connects people that can help each other in a way. Only aspect to be improved is the message feature. It gets very confusing when you're a traveler and received many messages.

Slow, but great!

Delivering stuff for this app is an awesome easy way to make some extra money on your trips. I wish they would send you the money faster, but besides that Grabr is great.

Such a lifesaver!

Grabr is a total lifesaver! I’m living in Buenos Aires right now (from the US) and there are some things that are just impossible to find here. While you definitely have to pay a premium it’s better than paying three times or four times the cost that you would in the US and at least I know exactly what I’m getting. Not some knock off for substitute item. I’m definitely using this app again!

Awesome app

Great app to get products from all over the world. Easy to use! Just post a product and Grabr will match it with a traveler... once you acept the offer, you'll receive the products in less than a month. Love it.
