Unfortunately SifinityGo works about as well as JuiceBox which would connect either. When spending $700 on a device you should expect it to work out of the box. When you buy a TV you expect it to work? Right. Don’t count on SifinityGo working correctly and you’ll need to call tech support. Even though they won’t be able to do anything.
Save yourself hours of frustration and disappointment. Just buy a WiFi LESS charger for your home.
I really don’t like to leave reviews like this but the text spills off the screen, the system messages don’t make any sense and the user interface is terribly designed.
Siemens, please re-do SifinityGo, this is not the level of quality I would expect for a $500 ev charger that is of excellent quality.
Won’t scan the barcode when in broad daylight and plain view, takes FOREVER to connect, connection is trash and errors out, then when you come back the next time you get to do it all over again.
Connectivity is horrid. Always disconnects. Have to delete profile and reconnect within SifinityGo after every charge. Have newest Google WiFi. Buy a Tesla charger. I work for the company and they have to give this away.
SifinityGo and the wall unit are both just abysmal. Got this on a friend’s recommendation and we have both replaced our wall units since then. Stay far away.
I can not even get through the set up screen. Get as far as the state when SifinityGo does not accept any input
Today I just bought a Siemens VersiChargeSG for my 2016 Volt.
I downloaded SifinityGo but I cannot even log into it comes up with errors
Not only is SifinityGo a poorly designed one but it doesn’t directly connect or enable full control of the EVSE unit.
Continually losing info when the unit has to be rebooted.
SifinityGo is trash and won't connect to the charger. Another good reason to hate electric cars
Useless app
I downloaded SifinityGo in hopes that with all the feedback the dev team could have fixed the issues. That is not the case here. At registration SifinityGo requires for the user to enter the zip code, however there is no zip code field.
Registration doesn't work if you live somewhere where your zip code starts with a 0. Supposedly you can register in a browser, but then you can't edit any of your profile details in SifinityGo . This is beyond basic stuff, and they can't get it right.
Poorly designed, poorly executed. It’s in extreme need of an update. You will finally get the info your looking after fumbling around for while. Siemens pleeese update SifinityGo!!!! BTW the charger rocks!
Have to log in every other time used, no touch-id. Other features seem to work fine, very little useful descriptions for icons and such though.
The new app has worked great for me over the past month, much improved look and functionality
Good to see the improvement à on SifinityGo. Charger setup became much easier, it also monitors better what is happening to chargers.
