Bank sync

MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney definitely needs to add bank syncingRight now I feel like I have to do too much to keep up with my finances but there are many other apps out there that just pay synchronizing with the bank account can automatically categorize all my expenses based on the vendor so I can know and how much money I spent on groceries or car note our home expenses etc... I still have to get credit to MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney because I love their interface it’s so smooth and easy for the eyes to understand what I had in front of me but I would much appreciate it if I can have my bank account sync with this account and have more automated system so I can easily set goals in budgets and MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney will show me automatically based on my expenses from my bank account how much money I spent from my budget or how much money I have saved towards my goal I hope I can get a response from the developer for any further questions I’ll be happy to help.

Work in progress…

I like MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney . The functionality is being built inside MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney are extremely useful but it will take time to get used to using MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney . I am a college student, I spend over four hours trying to navigate through MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney and build your own personalize system to keep track of your spending or setting up your goal to pay college debt. I highly recommend using the tutorial to guide on building a personal system of your own to explore.

I know MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney is still currently work in progress. A few things I like to see on upcoming update are the Categories and the iCloud sync.
The general in the category for the expense and income always seem to update itself and I am unable to delete it. (OCD about organization)
iCloud sync function. I believe I am doing correctly but currently it doesn’t seem to sync through out my apple ecosystem device. I always have to update manually in each device to “sync”.

Good, but could be better

Got MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney and paid for premium because it added some awesome features. However, upon starting to use MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney , I found that you can’t split transactions into different categories. That’s a huge dealbreaker for me as most of the purchases I make are typically comprised of items from multiple different categories. I could go and make individual transactions for each portion of the full purchase, but I must be honest and say that’s a lot of extra work to create all of those transactions and it would just be faster for me to write it down at that point. It’d also be amazing to have the ability to link bank accounts. That’s always incredibly convenient. Overall great app, but missing some key features that I need in a budget/financial app.

**Also FYI the widget didn’t work which I was really sad about because that was what made me download MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney . You guys have the most useful widgets in an finance app that I’ve seen.

Getting better

Updated Review
I downloaded your update and can now open MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney ! Thanks for fixing this.
However, I am still having issues, some very minor and one I consider major.
Minor #1: your welcome screen announcing the new release when I start MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney for the first time. I click the hyperlink to view the compete list of changes and NOTHING happens.
Minor #2: I accidentally tapped the Restore Purchases button. Instead of checking for prior purchases and telling me there are none, MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney hangs until I restart it. It does try to check for prior purchases but never gives control back to me.
Major: I didn’t have a lot of data before downloading this update. As I said in my prior review, I had only just started using your app. BUT, once the new version was downloaded, it appears I have lost any data I had previously entered. It looks like a fresh install. If I was a longtime customer with lots of data, I would be furious right now; as it is I am more than a little concerned. Please look into what caused my data loss.

Original Review
I downloaded this recently and was very interested. I spent the last couple of days getting my information set up and starting to track my expenses. Today I downloaded your new update. Now the program crashes on startup. I can’t do anything.
Please fix ASAP.

Wonderful Budgeting App

MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney is probably one of the best budgeting apps I’ve used so far. I’ve tried countless apps (MoneyPro, Pennies, Nudget, you name it) and this one has exceeded beyond my expectations (especially considering the amount of reviews this new app currently has as I write this).

It’s clean and smooth, easy to operate, and has so many options and settings to choose from to make the experience of tracking my expenses not only helpful, but kind of fun as well. And the more I use MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney , the more features I continue to find.

One of the great things about MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney is that they have a one-time payment option to purchase MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney . It’s a hefty price, but it beats paying a subscription as most apps are these days. But, beyond that, MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney has been fantastic when tracking my expenses.

One main feature I hope to see one day is Budget Rollover, so that whatever I end up not spending for a budget rolls over to the next week/month/year/etc., or if I spend too much then the exceeded amount rolls over to the next month. This way I can see how much I can truly spend for a budget in the subsequent months.

confusing, Not so helpful

I have to type in the amount which I spent or invest very busy and I don’t have time to keep up with money spent all the time to be typing the amounts I make and invest and spent. Not so helpful how I would of expected MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney to be.

All my transactions for the past four months were erased after the last update!!

MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney was working fine and it was awesome! After the last update I opened it to add a transaction I made and to my surprise all the transactions I’ve added for the past four months were erased! Nothing there! What’s going on? this is really devastating! I can’t even find a word to describe how I feel. But I’m completely disappointed.
Update: opened MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney again to find it’s even deleted everything I added in the past four months! Come on!!!
- - - -
[edit:] and again! After I thought it was fixed! Instead of a fee transactions miraculously disappearing all of my data just went missing!!! What is it with you guys? Is this really a “premium” app behavior?! This isn’t professional at all! One star and trust me, if there was any option available for a lesser rating I’d choose it in a heartbeat!

I found my financial app!!!

I have tried just about every financial/ budget app out there. I seldom write reviews, but I encourage you to try it. I got the premium from day one and have not regretted. The options are endless as far as information you can gather in your financial health. As a bonus, they care about their users. I emailed them a simple question I could have figured out, or look it up in their guide. They responded in less than 24 hours giving more insight. Just as we need to support our small business, so our small app developers. Specially, when they develop a winner.

Well I’m liking it really liking it!

It’s got great potential and the part about it that I like most is the fact that you can make it as simple as you like it as detailed and in-depth as you you like right off I wanted to see how deep I can go but confused my self by miss labeling something so I’ve got to fix a couple things but Really Really like it thus far Cuz you guys created a great app! I know I’ve made some mistakes what if there was a button that checked over the accounts and then let us know of any corrections if any that could be made?

Easy to analyse expenses

MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney is very useful as I have expenses in a lot of different currencies. I have the premium and I find it useful. Once a month I go trough the categories and see if my expenses make me happy or not, it helps you realize if you spend to little on things you enjoy - or to much on things you don't. I tweaked my expenses a lot after. Less on clothes and coffee etc, more on travel, entertainment and celebrations :) Once my data disappeared, but with new version supporting icloud I assume that's no longer an issue

Deleted for Bugs

I imported on both iPhone and MacBook. Nothing but bugs and the mapping fields is buggy as well. Didn’t get far. I had hopes for MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney . 👎

Update to the developer: What upsets me about these quick and seemingly whimsical responses is you spent no time trying to understand what the issue was. Instead I was told, “tough stuff, bugs don’t exist, go away.”
1. I did not attempt to synch between both Apple devices. I tried to get the software working on my 2018 MBP and on my iPhone 12 PM, exclusive of one another. It did not work on either.
2. I have a technical background and I actually spent a few hours genuinely attempting to get this work. I barely have any time in the day and I carved out time because I was excited to use this.
3. Your response really turned me off. It was uncalled for and unprofessional. If that’s how you want to conduct yourself then do so.

It’s cool to follow how other developers answer unqualified answers. It’s cooler to concern yourself with customer who really want to use your software but can’t because bugs impede use.

Not working

I am all for saving money and budgeting but for some reason I can’t get this too open for me. It’s a free app right now so I thought that was pretty cool considering it’s normally $5. So, it takes me through the little spill of how it works and then nothing else so I don’t know. Once (or if) I can get it to work I will come back and update this review.

Update: Well, I had to change it to 5 stars. It wouldn’t set up on my iPad (didn’t know that) so I just set it up on my iPhone. So far so good and easy too use.

Lost all of my data and horrible customer service

Whatever they did in their recent update, they erased all my data, which was supposedly backed up via iCloud, and their so-called customer service is rude and unhelpful, claiming they can’t help because they “don’t have access to my data” and don’t know what I did to cause this. Last I checked, blaming the customer is not the way to run a company. Their only solution was to “deactivate iCloud,” which obviously does not get my information back, and when I pointed out that is hardly a solution, their thoughtful customer service response was “it’s better than nothing.” If you value the security of your financial data, go elsewhere. I’ve used MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney for years but no more.

App widget

Dear app developer
I have the same problem I mentioned before. Whenever I update application, app widget omits MoneyCoach quick mode widget. I wish you wouldn’t change app widget. It was easier to add transactions in quick mode. These days because of coronavirus we have mask and it takes time to unlock iphone with FACE ID. So if it is possible, return quick transaction widget. Thanks a lot.

(Fixed) Monthly summary issue

“ MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney is great and I love it but the monthly summary should be reverted back to just showing the name of the month rather than the dates because it takes up too much space on the screen and your not able to read your loss/gain for the month.”

Thank you for updating to fix this issue I really do appreciate it. Continue being awesome!😝

Not Ideal

MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney is not ideal, has numerous bugs for far too long and overall struggles to keep up with basic needs...

cross-device synchronization has been a nightmare experience, setting up future payments automatically gets added to your balance immediately and most things don't seem to function as smoothly

I will admit, however, the goal system is sweet and MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney has potential to be great, but not worth over $10 at the moment in my experience

Stand corrected

Maybe I’m just old fashioned & hate relearning new phone behaviors every month. I suppose I have to get over that. It just would have been nice for long time users to have a FAQ mention about the switch to only Premium users having more than 2 accounts and what to do in that circumstance. But thanks for a response.

———
I love MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney but I’m aggravated with the changes. These unnecessary updates in MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney industry just force a bunch of calamity for the end user on really great apps that were fine how they were.

Too many rabbit whole breadcrumbs in the settings most average users wont need. Icon bubbles are only cool if they lead you to something behind it.

Needs bank sync

If ever MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney added bank sync it would be a top tier standard. As it is now it feels more like debit & credit, an app I used in college & about a year after graduating. It does train you to a certain mindset about expenses, but it’s easy to get behind in keeping track when all the entry is by hand. For an app that charges a $30/year sub I was surprised by the lack of web access bank connection. It’s effectively charging the cost of an app with actual AI built in (eg ability to set filters and predictive category assignment etc) but expecting the user to do all the data logging footwork.

I suppose it appeals to those without 3+ years of records to import, but given all entries seemingly need to be individually edited it’s not ideal for those not starting from square one.

Definitely love the concept, really really wanted to love it. Was ready to drop the $75/lifetime until I spent about 6 hours trying to fumble through all the data entry. Then realized I was working too hard to make an app work the way I wanted it to, which never works out in the long run.

Will keep my eye on it, definitely a promising developer team and concept.

Too Buggy/Customer Service Meh

Latest release is a complete and utter mess and gives me zero confidence in ever purchasing the premium. Crashes before it even loads. It was a pretty decent app. but it couldn’t even automatically calculate the dates of my bi-weekly check since I don’t get paid the same set amount. So manually doing it sucked. The Customer service is pretty slow and they don’t always explain to well compared to other apps.

By

Very disappointed. Loved it until...

I’m a premium user. I loved MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney and was willing to pay up as long as it did what it promised to do. 3 months into using it I decided I want to use the “Data Sync” functionality and sync it with my iPad. Well what happened next is something I didn’t expect. All my data disappeared. 3 months worth of data entry gone with the wind...for that reason: if you won’t cross-device data availability, don’t get MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney. If you just want it on one device then that’s fine. It works as advertised.

Amazing l!

I’ve been using MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney for almost 2 years now. It’s been a perfect extension to my lifestyle. With the new Mac app , I think there’s nothing more I would ask for.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this one certainly deserves my 60 seconds of typing. Cheers and continue making it better.

HUGE BUG

NOt Working even with the last update. Please fix this issue where Face ID scans my face than it starts like a loop over and over again. It’s annoying that I can’t use MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney anymore. I’m afraid that all my data could be lost. Just fix this guys!

By

It’s a “two thumbs up” kind of app

Once you’ve played around with it for a few minutes, it becomes very user friendly and adds value to your everyday worry regarding money and money and money.

By

Shady tactics

I used MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney for about 3 years. One day the developer released an update saying that he was going to charge a monthly subscription but that old users wouldn’t be affected. I updated and it wasn’t true, my app became almost unusable because I didn’t buy the premium membership. I personally dislike business models based on memberships, I don’t mind paying for MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney once, but a membership for software I find greedy. Thumbs down!

By

Disappointing

It was great and working fine. Then they started the “monthly subscription” and I don’t have any functionality anymore; not even support to fix bugs or respond to emails.
I would have paid for the subscription if they had communicated these changes before implementing them and if it was possible to be done in MoneyCoachBudgetTrackMoney ..Very good app, but not that fantastic to justify being that expensive for subscription
