I think this app is a good start but I think it could be made a lot better. I like how you can measure your carbon footprint through this. It also makes you think about whether you do things like turn the lights off, unplug your appliances, etc. It's a good app for somebody who likes to save the environment but for someone who isn't that into "being green", I think it's too much. Personally, I wouldn't go onto the app every single time I unplugged something or filled up a reusable water bottle. I wish somehow it would be easier to track these things and it would be a better app.

This app is a great way for the environmentally-conscious to try to keep track of how they are preserving the environment as well as get ideas to do so. However, I don't think the directions for the app are very clear. I was confused when it prompted me to choose activities I participated in. I thought it meant only that day but it actually meant any activities that I sometimes participate in that I can then log as I complete them on a daily basis. It could use some more directions and activity options to make it a more comprehensive application.

After using this app for a few weeks I have developed a better understanding on how much energy I use each day. I enjoyed the calculation tab that directed me to links where I could inform myself about carbon emissions. I found it rewarding to see my overall carbon savings over a period of time. Unfortunately I found it difficult to commit to constantly tracking my savings and became uninterested quickly.
