Buggy and unstable and badly programmed on Apple TV

The ide aid the app is good. I use it a lot to keep touch with live in Germany while living abroad.
That’s the good par. The quality of the app is beyond appalling. Just watched a program where the audio went into a loop and video continued. After a while both continue out of sync. That happens every other minute.
Some programs won’t start. You won’t get any UI indication if this is because there is a DRM issue or if the app hangs or what. All that does not happen on browsers or on the iPad but on Apple TV. So someone needs to do their job.

ARD mediathek used to be a good source for all kind of videos broadcasted by the public German TV stations. It’s unbelievable how such a big organization (stuffed by billions of taxpayers money) can mess up a previously working app. App got terrible slow; certain functions don’t response or work at all; player doesn’t forward/rewind; etc....
How can you release an App that’s not even on beta-level???
Waste of public money - shame on you ARD!
Video out of sync, app unresponsive

As other reviewers, for almost a year now the audio is getting out of sync for many videos.
People are commenting on this for more than a year now without a fix.
In every profit-oriented company everyone responsible for this would be fired by now.
