I am using Aldiko on my iPhone 7 Plus (IOS 13.6.1). I downloaded the app from The App Store today. I got the book “A Legend” By William Faulkner from archives.com. My problem is when I try to get the iPhone to do text to speech with ‘speak screen’, I get the error “no readable content” even though the printed page is displayed. Speak screen works with other apps, but gives me the same error message when using it with Aldiko. I tried turning off and on speak page and turning off the iPhone. Any ideas on what else I should try?
