New user here. I have used a car five times and a bike once. Positive experiences. I love the fact that you can pick up a car anywhere and drop it off virtually anywhere. The app is great too. Recently, the service came to our rescue in a downpour with my family. I have figured out the billing process and it is pretty straightforward. If you drive longer than 37 minutes, you are charged for an hour, which is in your favour, so you might as well keep the car for another 23 minutes. It's least expensive if you use a car for exactly one, two or three hours. Those are the lowest hourly rates ($20.20, $19.17, $18.82 per hour, respectively, for BCAA members). I'm mystified at how these cars are maintained, though. Do they have a mobile crew that services them curbside? I have encountered two with low washer fluid, dangerously dirty windshield interiors and a low tire pressure warning light. I reported them, but I don't know how quickly the issues are dealt with. My biggest complaint, as a bigger guy, is how uncomfortable the Prius is to sit into. Once in, it's fine but especially when people don't slide the seat back, it is difficult to get in. I learned early on that users are charged from unlock to lock, including any stopovers, so plan your usage carefully, and remember that the meter is ALWAYS running. I'm still learning the ropes, but it seems like a great service. I have no other car share companies to compare to. The bike experience was not as great, but it came in handy once. The seat wouldn't stay up.
