Downloaded a windows 10 “universal server” and the ios App. The need for ios App itself made me question it’s usabilility or universality but even that would have been awesome becuase all you could get is a nice barcode scanner and within a fractionn of a second of scanning that from your “server” it says sorry I can’t of use for further info contact your network admin, who the heck is the network admin? On a two computer home network without any significant twists to the router config if this poc can’t connect nor it’s team provide any useful info like may be tey firewall settings etc. other than ‘contact your network admin’, why the heck my network admins waste their time for me installing a crappy app that doesn’t even come with basic troubleshooting/configuration info. ?

I began using AirServerConnect when my school went to distance learning. I use my iPad as whiteboard and project it to my students who watch via zoom. Most of the time it works seamlessly; however, whenever there is any update at all on computer, I get the spinning wheel of death and my iPad doesn’t connect. Using AirServerConnect coupled with other apps, e.g. Paper, has really transformed and energized the way I teach. “Distance learning” is almost oxymoronic but tools like this make learning from a distance feasible.

Once you get it connected it is great! I downloaded this to listen to Apple Music on my Xbox one. I scanned the wrong on my phone and would connect but kept getting an error message. I turned my Bluetooth off and restarted and got the same message. But then I opened the control center on my IPhone and clicked the air play icon by my music and had to wait a few seconds then my Xbox became available to connect to airplay. That’s it! Loving it so far 👌

I am a teacher using AirServerConnect to mirror my iPad and project it on a white board. I have been doing so for a year and had no issues until this morning. The recent update turns the camera sideways and the connection that’s created successfully is then not picked up. So I get a connection option (blue screen) but then when I try to connect it says that it cannot be found. Is there any way the latest patch/update can be undone? AirServer worked perfectly for me before that.

I have also been using Airserver with no issues until this week. My camera is also rotated (as stated in other reviews) and causes my ipad not to connect. I have a classroom set of iPads that do not have the latest edition of AirServerConnect and they work perfectly! Thank you in advance for fixing the issue.

We use AirServer on a corporate network that has a number of restrictions that affect airplay discoverability. AirServerConnect allows our professors’ AirPlay to directly connect to the PCs in our classrooms. They love how easy it is to cast content to our in-class displays!

AirServerConnect constantly either stops playing my music while I’m online playing video games and every time this happens I have to go to AirServerConnect on my Xbox and reconnect it. In addition it will randomly mute the music and when this happens you have to disconnect and reconnect. I’d say on average I’d have to reconnect at least 4-5 times for every hour I play or use my console. Horrible app don’t download or pay for it

My only use for AirServerConnect is streaming music over my phone to my entertainment system (that doesn’t have Bluetooth) and this makes the process extremely easy. I will be recommending this to friends.

Using the trail version on my Xbox to test and see if AirServerConnect actually works and it’s working fine 😭 I’m able to play whatever I want now thanks to AirServerConnect. Thank you and keep improving it 🕺🏽

This service is super useful as it lets me share my screen from my phone and from my laptop to my Xbox. Video quality is good but not perfect. However, mirroring full screen video from my phone does not work, AirServerConnect gets 5 stars if it were not for that

I bought this last year and it worked great for playing music from my iPhone 7Plus and iPad Pro until recently. Now it won't play more than a few songs before crashing. AirServerConnect on the Xbox One totally crashes and exits. I tried updating it and same story. I hope the dev fixes it because it was nice to use instead of the Bluetooth receiver I have since AirServerConnect uses WiFi.

I used this previously for a while, a couple times a week on average and it usually worked as long as the wireless network was not locked down. However now I can’t get it to work at all, not sure if it’s still the IOS11 issue or what but I just bought a new (second) license that is virtually useless and I can’t get any support. Really disappointed!!!

I used the free trial, enjoyed it and bought it. But when I try to livestream from the Apple Music app, currently the Kanye event, but also Verzuz and things like that, it doesn’t do anything except display AirServerConnect logo

To use AirServerConnect you need to “swipe from the bottom of your screen” to open the control center. Well, on the iPhone X, that’s what you do to get back to “home”. So every time I swipe up I end up back at “home”, I can’t actually get to the control center to launch. So unless they fix that, AirServerConnect is completely useless for iPhone X users.

After waiting a year for them to fix it AirServerConnect finally works

i think it’s stupid that you can’t play any video or movie on AirServerConnect onto the xbox without it saying “error loading content” i did not pay 20 dollars for AirServerConnect for it only to play music. please make it to where i can stream videos and or movies so i can have my moneys worth.

I would like AirServerConnect to be update regularly, and for better functionality.

Will definitely be refunding AirServerConnect, it has been two years since this issue has been brought up still no fix. If you can't play videos it defeats the whole purpose of AirServerConnect .

Never works when you need it to. Always has issues. Something that should be so simple is incredibly frustrating and can’t be relied on.

The only reason I wanted this was to cast Apple TV + from my phone to my Xbox. It won’t. It won’t do Netflix either. It pops up a playback error over and over.

Works with Facebook though but uh, why would I need it for that m.
