Have tried 3 others AltimeterPrecision is much better. Easy to use and more information.

If I knew the location I was at on the screen things would be great.

My cousin had an old analog barometer based altimeter that you had to guess about the accuracy because of the variances of the local air pressure. When the weather was rainy the altimeter would read low. When the sun was shining, the altimeter would read high! That is my problem no longer. Now the altimeter judges my altitude based on GPS. Hip hip hooray!

Seems to work with no problems. No ads. Very nice.

Great tool. Fairly accurate. Load before you venture out

The gps I use has a mind of its own like many electronics these days.
Only once in a blue moon does it tell me my altitude.
My first GPS a addition on my laptop told me that altitude in big bold numbers.
But AltimeterPrecision works great for me. I am a trucker and love to know what the altitude is when I go to sleep. As I drive coast to coast my altitude changes all the time.

I’ve had other altimeter apps but none can compare. This one is the very best.

I'm pleased with AltimeterPrecision. It's easy to use and seems accurate. Of course the accuracy is best with full GPS coverage.

Looks good and so far accurate. Put in request for satellite view toggle on the Apple map.

It works well and easy to see and understand

I walk around different places where there are various mountains and trails. This apps easily indicates the altitude.

I tested the accuracy by going to a federal impoundment close to my home. It has the level of the lake in feet above sea level. AltimeterPrecision was right on!

Works great power button information that I have always wanted to see

Very accurate. Neat that it has built-in compass. Tells you if GPS signal is strong or not and adjusts altitude accuracy accordingly. Also can switch to map mode and set so that the map stays stationary even if you rotate the phone.

I’m always curious about my location and climate and weather. As such, I wondered about altitude and how I might determine it easily with my phone. I downloaded AltimeterPrecision and it works so quickly

We live surrounded by mountains and I always wonder how high we are - from my breathing, oxygen and temperature. Instead of having to buy and expensive watch I use AltimeterPrecision which is so easy and big and i use it all the time! Thank you!

This is a basic app that is beautiful without a lot of unnecessary clutter.
