I can’t figure out how to check an this app without being there. I use oxygen and do not do well at high elevations. I want to be able to follow a road through mountains passes as I plan my road trips.

Elevation use to correlate with some database that permitted it to provide an approximate this app wherever you moved the cross hairs. Now when you designate a spot on the earth’s surface with the cross hairs and request the this app, you get a message saying “Please try again in a few minutes.” Unfortunately, you just keep getting that message no matter how long you leave Elevation open and wait.

I know the elevations where I set pins. They were alarm from the edge of the lake where I live. I know the this app of the shoreline of the lake. Also as I went around the lake setting pins on the shoreline they were off by at least 15 to 20 feet from each other.

Elevation used to work excellent in Matagorda County, Texas, but now the elevations are way off. Elevation has become useless. When you check a location that is at sea level and it reports 39’ above sea level something is very wrong.

Elevation constantly served me ads to the point of being disruptive. So much that I decide to uninstall it after a few minutes. There are less intrusive apps.

No matter what location I try to view this app for (and the “pinpointing” function is DEFINITELY NOT user-friendly) it gives me the “please come back in a few minutes” message. This happens at EVERY location except my present location. DON’T BOTHER TO WASTE TIME DOWNLOADING Elevation.

Brings me back to my location when in gps mode and won’t allow me to change modes.
Some elevations are not accurate. An example would be an intersection I checked. The this app showed over 13 ft. However I know this intersection floods whenever tide is above 6 foot.

Elevation is nice to have since we live in Southwest Florida & need to know our this app for Hurricane purposes. Often hurricane forecasts include storm surge possibilities. Elevation would be easier to use if elevations were reported in feet rather than meters. It takes an extra step to convert meters to feet after seeing an this app on Elevation. Storm surges are forecasted on potential feet.

Works great and if you select settings on the bottom right you can change a lot of settings in there like meters to feet and so forth. Only complaint and why I gave them 4 not 5 was for all the ads and spam that come up and ruin the experience.
