Did not record anything and I know I snore. It said no snoring detected. I’ve recorded 3 times.l with no results.
The only sounds SnoreControl has recorded so far are the snore stop sounds that I chose (birds chirping, in my case). What I want to hear is if I'm snoring, the length of time I'm snoring, and how loud I am. Recording the snore stop sound doesn't do me any good.
Update: I've used this in conjunction with a snore recording app and found that this records everything except my snoring (which has been very loudly recorded by the other app) even though this is set to record room noise AND snoring. It also keeps activating the stop snoring noise when I'm not snoring. I know because it set it off when I was awake and just turning over. Wish it worked but hasn't at all.

Despite claims to the contrary there is no way to connect their Apple Watch app with their iPhone application.
Without that there is no way for SnoreControl to nudge you awake with haptic feedback on your watch.
SnoreControl advertises that notifications work on Apple Watch. They don’t. No response to multiple requests for clarification.
It either wakes up my bf by making noises on the phone or when silenced and set to just vibrate the watch doesn’t vibrate the watch at all.
Horrible interface as well - screen stays lit by default when SnoreControl is on your phone.

Never vibrates when i snore. Says 0 mins snoring, when i do know that i snore from recording it.

Spent a long time trying to figure out how to make it work in apple watch. Turns out you have to enable the anti-snore feature via a button on the iPhone app first (not sure why you couldn't enable this from the watch, which just shows an error). But once I got it going it seems to work. I still snored a bit. And it recorded ambient rain noise for 20min thinking that was snoring...so I assume it just uses a threshold of noise to detect snoring vs analyzing the audio itself. But it did record my snores so...3 stars.
UPDATE: now with watch os7 and latest version am now getting the "...can't start audio.rec" type error a lot. Still have no idea why the iPhone app has to be running at all to use the anti-snore feature.
I think there is potential here, but vibrating my iPhone just wakes up my wife - which is what I wanted to avoid. The idea of strapping the iPhone to my arm at night when I want to charge it won’t work.
But I have an Apple Watch and vibrating it seems to be an option no developers have tried.
Add this and I’d buy the full version!
I deleted SnoreControl from my screen but SnoreControl still appears in settings.
My husband told me I occasionally snored and I was eager to address the issue. Snore Control offered a potential solution- gently waking me up when it detected me snoring. Rather than placing my phone on my arm, I stuck it under my pillow.
After a few nights and subsequent adjustments, Snore control seemed to detect my snores! It woke me up just enough to stop the snores- Until one night, when the gentle vibration was notifying me that I was snoring- but it was detecting my husband’s snores not mine!
Lots of cool applications . Been very helpful for me in tracking my snoring levels and taking action .
SnoreControl is worth the money. Without SnoreControl I would snore most of the night and woke up still feeling tired. I set the snore control up and when it detects snoring it plays a sound to wake you up just enough to stop snoring. It can record the whole night or just when you snore. You have to adjust the volume in SnoreControl to just to where it stops you snoring, but not too loud to wake you all the way up. Make sure you start it on your days off. It took me a couple days to get the volume just right. I recorded my first two night without the snore control on. It detected 92 snoring episodes for the first night for 2 hours of snoring. Last night I had 5 snoring episodes that it stopped for 15 seconds total.

I wasn't sure it would, but it actually works! The gentle alert of the snore app is all it takes to keep the snoring to a minimum. We haven't tried the sound library yet, only the vibration, but it does the job for us. So happy we gave SnoreControl a shot!
just got this to try it out. could not get through instructions for being bombarded with ads. I get free apps selling things, but this is awful
