I was rushing to work and I needed food. I decided to order food from Urban Cafe which was a huge mistake. I use their app and I ordered a salad. When I got to the business they did not have my order and it was not in the system. I tried to open my Apple Watch scanning inside the business in UrbaneCafe would not even upload so I was unable to view my order or show proof that I made my order. This is happened to me at least 10 times and I am so sick of this business and their app. If these issues don’t get corrected I will stop being a customer of Urban Cafe. I will be telling everybody I know about this situation on social media

Was advised by staff calling ahead to order was better method because app doesn’t push orders thru immediately. I ordered at 5:31pm and order wasn’t received until 5:45pm even though I selected ASAP as the order time. Fortunately I’m not in a rush but could tell this was a recurring problem for the staff and that it’s causing guests to be unhappy.

App also wasn’t clear about wether my order was placed and needed to check my email to confirm it had been placed.

After placing an order, UrbaneCafe gets stuck on the next page. No controls to go anywhere else, including back to the main screen. I had to force-kill UrbaneCafe and relaunch it just to see if my order went through.

I think UrbaneCafe may not be happy that I won’t allow it to send me notifications, but I have enough spam in my life already. I don’t need another chatty app bugging me with unnecessary messages. That shouldn’t prevent me from placing an order (an until the most recent update, it didn’t).

This review is purely for the actual app, no complaints on the restaurants themselves or the food or staff. The major problem I have is in the couple years that I’ve had UrbaneCafe it’s maybe worked 20% of the time I’ve wanted to use it, it normally force closes as soon as you try to open it. It’s not a bad app but I’ve found myself ordering online or over the phone more than I’ve used UrbaneCafe, not even sure why I keep it on my phone to be honest. Waste of space.

App seems to be mostly working. But I got stuck because of a previously used coupon that was still in my cart. It wouldn’t let me place an order because the coupon was already used, and I couldn’t figure out how to remove it. I logged out, this helped remove it.

Food is great, my low rating is because of the buggy experience. Please fix.

The young lady was extremely disconnected and borderline rude no patients while I was placing my order and she was acting as if I never should have walked into your place of business. It’s way to early for such a nasty attitude. 11:00am the place of business just opened and this is what I get. She should have used some of that negative energy and covered up the HUGE HICKIE she had on her neck. I drove to far to put up with this crap.

I love Urban Cafe especially that focaccia bread! Yum! And UrbaneCafe is easy to use. I was having issues placing orders into the cart but I just deleted UrbaneCafe and reinstalled and it started working again! But this is the second time I had to delete and reinstall.I don’t know if it is just me it was happening to but it would be great if that could be fixed! :) thanks!

I’ve been burned once before having to race across town to pick up an order I thought for sure I had selected the correct location. This afternoon, chose the correct location and it reverted back to the wrong location. I use at least 10 other mobile ordering apps, and I always have to be triple diligent with the location which is less than satisfying. Everything else about UrbaneCafe is fine.

Works really well, easy to order food and update with rewards. Are the only reason for four stars is the ability to update credit cards. Doesn’t allow you to update the credit card, you have to delete it and input the same card again with the newer information. Really easy change to UrbaneCafe that they could incorporate.

I would rate this higher except for a couple of glitches. It’s really hard to figure out how to change the time if ASAP is not available. You merely get a pop-up that says the time is not available without an option for choosing a new time within that pop up. Reverting back to the order and trying to figure out where to change the time is difficult. The salads are always excellent and the staff is always friendly when I visit so I’ll definitely keep using it.

I love UrbaneCafe and I don’t mind the speed for now- I can place an order and most of the time it’s ready in 15 minutes. I wish it remembered past orders though and it should have a section in saved payment methods where I could input an urbane gift card to keep on file. Weird that I can’t save a gift card to it’s own restaurant..

Everything at urban Café is consistent, food is healthy, staff is professional. Service is right on and quick.
I highly recommend this café to everyone. Plus, the prices is are very reasonable.
I go to the one in Arroyo Grande. Everything’s always perfect.

The flow was broken , make me enter my card info twice then got stuck on a screen, was finally able to navigate to complete my order. If it goes smooth next time I’ll change my rating.

This was my first time to this location and I was participating in the Health Care Hero’s event.
I was greeted immediately by Umberto. He walked me through the entire check in and ordering process, and was patient and friendly the entire time. I love the healthy menu options and will plan to revisit for sure ~!
Hopefully Quinoa will be an option of choice in the near future :)

My favorite place to enjoy lunch or dinner as well as a great rewards program. Super pleased too with the many gluten free options. My favs are salmon bowl and Turkey Club on your delicious gluten free focaccia bread! And I must say I’ve been to several locations and always get outstanding service.

UrbaneCafe has gone through a number of iterations, some not so great. This current release is fantastic and is a huge improvement. In the past, ordering online was sluggish and (at times) crashed. Now, however, online ordering is easy to use, quick and responsive.

I love how simple it is to order through UrbaneCafe! I can easily find my entrees with great pictures. I can add all the drinks and desserts easily. I can choose whether I want utensils to avoid unnecessary trash and I can customize my pickup time. I also appreciate the rewards and tip feature. Great restaurant. Great app!

Your new app is a huge improvement over the previous version. The original app was good, second version was a backwards step, current version is easy to navigate. Good job! Oh... and the salads are great too. One more comment... Your nickname feature is annoying.

Makes it super easy to order in just a few seconds. I wish it had the option to save prior orders or favorites as I typically order the same thing. It’s very convenient to order this way as there is usually a line to order.

It took me four trips to Urban Cafe to figure out how to use the Urban App but the staff especially Jose and Lucero wouldn’t stop helping me!!!!! I think they taught me how so u
I might even be able to do it alone next time!
Who says they can’t “teach an old dog new tricks!!!
