I used to love Netatmo about a year ago. Their cameras worked well and I really enjoyed using their app; everything worked smoothly and I had no problems with software or hardware.
Then one day, out of the blue, my Netatmo Outdoor camera just suddenly stopped working. I tried resetting it and it was obviously turning off & on because I could see the flood light. But even after troubleshooting it about a dozen times or more, Netatmo basically said it was defective and Iβd have to buy a new one. I thought about it for awhile but decided against it because the software started becoming terrible!
I get notifications CONSTANTLY now and is unbelievably annoying. The settings for the notifications used to work perfectly but now, no matter what I do, it notifies me of every single movement. Iβll sometimes have a hundred or so notifications a day now. It is so bad that I just want to destroy it.
Save yourself some time, headache, and money and get yourself pretty much anything other than Netatmo. It may work well for a bit but then their hardware and software will become terrible. I have tried out many other options and they are much better. Get a Wyze Cam if you want something cheap or Nest Cam if you want the best.

I have been a fan of various Netatmo products for years but it sure looks like our relationship is coming to an end.
Security: I dont know what the software team was thinking but the interface is now so sensitive that if a branch of a tree moves, I will get an alert that says motion detected. I am now getting on average 50 motion detected alerts per day on my phone. Needless to say, forget about storing videos on Dropbox because it fills up in a flash. What happens to the face detection/recognition system? It was useful and the main reason why I bought Security
Weather: It has been working wonders for years. I bought a rain gauge and tried to hook it up to the weather station. Not only, did it not connect the rain gauge, I also lost all weather measurements and I was never able to connect it again to the network. Help on the app/youtube was useless
Scale: worked again for years without a hitch. All of a sudden, the data wouldnβt transfer onto my phone. It still is the case today. I am too lazy to enter the measurements manually so goodbye scale.
I must admit that this is the first time that I write a review about any of the apps that I use. So long Netatmo, it was good while it lasted

I had camera for 2 years and it was one issue after another until camera did the same thing that other people have complained about here
The camera still detects the sd memory card and the light works but customer service just says camera is defective
Obviously they have a manufacture or software issue and they should provide more help than just suggesting buying a new one
I have had nest and arlo for much longer working better and their customer service is 100 times better
Do not waste your money on this or you will be sorry down the line
