Not for the strong.

OneRepMax has a disclosure that says it is most accurate for seasoned lifters (among other caveats) as the nervous system of the beginner may not be trained to handle a 1RM. This is correct.

However, the weight you may enter is maxed out at 300lbs?????

(look at the screen shot to notice that 222 is near the max for the slider)

Really? Sorry, but if you cannot deadlift more than 300 you are either very small, female or distinctly NOT a seasoned lifter.

I can't imagine the purpose of the restriction. It seems just silly. I am NOT that strong and did deadlifts for 365x8. (Don't take this as bragging, do "starting strength" for a year and you'd likely be close to this)

Anyway, it's not useful for its supposed intended audience.

Shame too...it looks perfect otherwise!

Not good enough

Great for estimating your 1 Rep Max. But keeping track? You gotta be kidding. It’s not at all intuitive on how to keep track for different lifts. Plus, it’s really buggy about dates and keeping the lifts you select straight—I’d select dead lift then look at the log to see it changed to back squat. Not helpful at all.

Not worth it

Awful for Keeping track. Super annoyed I just spent $4 and it doesn’t work

Security concerns

I get notifications occasionally that OneRepMax is copying content from my clipboard.

Complicated

So this is part of an entire suite of software that is in some kind of useful post-beta but honestly it is way too complicated. Anyone heard of second system syndrome? I don’t need or want most of what is being offered.

Why do I have to upgrade it to pro to log more than 1073 pounds

Wonky and now dead

Loved the idea. Managed around it being a problem getting into fields for awhile. Now it won’t open with latest iOS 👎

300lbs Max weight? Why oh why!

OneRepMax is perfect for logging your exercises weights and seeing the graphs. It took me some time to figure out how to override the 300lbs limit and that's why I didn't add the 5 starts. Besides that, OneRepMax is amazing!

Great enabler

I use the onerm with Wendler app and I find it a great combo. I would like to have to the ability to edit logs, particularly the date. Entering info is easier with keypad vice slider for me. Love the graphs. The 1 RM is consistent with the Wendler calculation. Editing capacity would give this a five star, but very useful as is.

Good app

This is great for tracking maxes. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I wish I could edit the time/date I did the lift. I don't always log the lift at the same time I do it.

I bought something and have no idea what I paid for

I bought something and have no idea what I paid for. It said like 3.99 and I have no idea what I clicked but OneRepMax is free and great for pushing yourself for that one rep.

Absolutely Perfect

OneRepMax has honestly helped me put on about 200lbs on my total in about 4 months. I've easily been able to track my training, as well as knowing my limits. I'd give OneRepMax a 10/5 if I could.

A great app to use for all weightlifter

A great app to use for both beginners and advanced weightlifter. It's a simple, user friendly app, very handy and accurate-as far as calculation goes. This is exactly what I have been looking for. So, quit making any excuses, go to the gym and start using OneRepMax!

Easily the best 1RM app in OneRepMax Store. Graphs and history log are really nice features. Upgrade to pro removes ads. If you like OneRepMax and want to upgrade, do it soon because pro version is a new install and existing data is not migrated. You will be starting over. Enjoy!

Perfect for making weightlifting easier

Not only is this a fun way to calculate my 1rm, it's SO much easier than trying to figure it out on those charts in the box or gym or by increasing your weight until u can't anymore - which isn't the safest way. ;) OneRepMax is very well-designed and definitely a must have for all weightlifters! Best app out there

The update to OneRepMax is top tier! Love to see the addition of 2-10RM. I’ve used OneRepMax for years to make the “math” for adjusting clients (and my own) lifts easy. Easily the best weight lifting calculator on the market.

It’s almost accurate just a little off but it’s free and works well

Best way to keep track of your 1rm

No idea what the other reviewer is talking about. Great way to keep track of 1rms for all lifts. Fun and easy to use, with lots of bells and whistles.
