CorePower Yoga lover!

I live in Puerto Rico and there are no corepower yoga studios here. I do practice yoga almost every day.

I had to fly to Kansas City for a job training and stayed in the country club plaza area and discovered there was a yoga studio there. It Corepower yoga studio and I was so happy I was able to practice the 3 weeks I was in Kansas City.

I was able to take a full week free and I fell in love with the studio, the heated clases and the yoga sculpt classes, the teachers. I brought a monthly pass, I practiced every day for the time in Kansas City. I came back to PR and was very happy to see that that I am able to practice core power classes in the comfort of my home. I wish there is a yoga studi here but, Since Puerto Rico, is very hot and humid, I sweat almost as much as in a heated studio. I am so glad corepower did CorePowerYogaOnDemand, so people like me who don’t have a studio near , can practice as well. I love the different clases, meditations and teachers. Thank you again!

Conveniently allows you to get your namaste on!

I have been enjoying On Demand since March, it has been convenient for my scheduling being a mother of 2 young boys and working full time (pre-COVID). Now with Stay at Home orders, On Demand has given me a sense of calm and breath during a time of uncertainty. With our home now being full of excitement all day and all night, on Demand allows me to get in my much needed yoga sesh when time allows. The classes are enjoyable, and with a range from 10 mins to a full hour you can customize your practice to fit your day, your mood and your needs to get to that happy place. The teachers are motivating, it’s like being in the studio where they’re encouraging you that “yes you can” to finish strong! The library of videos offers so much variety that you never get bored. Love love love.

Good but could be amazing with a few tweaks.

The classes are fantastic. They are challenging and engaging even in a virtual environment. I’ve been a little disappointed with the lack of new content during the covid-19 pandemic. I realize most businesses have been closed, but I would have hoped CorePower would have found a creative way to film individual instructors teaching courses or pull from older content not yet posted. I also would really like it if CorePowerYogaOnDemand identified on a course whether or not you’ve already taken the course. I like keeping my workouts fresh and new, but can’t always remember which ones I’ve done and will get a few minutes into a workout before I realize it’s one I’ve already completed. Would be great if it would mark the ones we’ve completed and also give us the option to rate the ones we’ve completed so we can avoid ones we’ve already done or alternatively if we do want to repeat a workout, identify the ones we gave 5 stars to.

Almost Perfect! Great for Yoga Newbies.

I went to the studio on a one week free trial week but could only make it to one class. I really loved the format and wanted to continue, but there is no studio near my home. I then did the trial week with CorePowerYogaOnDemand and was able to do 3 classes! I felt it was worth the monthly fee to be able to do these classes at my convenience (compared to a drop-in fee for studio classes) I knocked off one star only because I wish it was a little cheaper (or if there were some sort of loyalty program) and it would be totally excellent if there was a feature that lets you track your workouts. I do 1-4 sessions a week and it would be nice to have it logged or kept track of automatically. I've been using CorePowerYogaOnDemand for about 3 months now. I like that there are new classes that are added to mix things up. I love the format and convenience. I feel more confident in my personal practice so when I do attend a class in person, I'm not struggling.

Love this option!

I was a corepower black tag member for quite a while, but had to cancel my membership when I started marathon training because I just didn’t have enough time to make it worth the cost. I love having the option to still do the classes I love at home through the on demand app! I think it’s a great deal when you compare it to the Black Tag membership cost! I prefer in studio workouts but during this time when I can’t go every day $20 is amazing to be able to get such a large collection of classes!
Only thing I wish they would do is show the past classes you have taken. I’m trying to do a new class every time and it’s getting a little annoying keeping track of if I took a certain class. Also it’s just nice to look back and be able to see your history of how many classes you do! Just a suggestion - still love CorePowerYogaOnDemand ! Thanks Corepower!

Great Variety For At Home Practice

I started using CP On-Demand when the pandemic shut my yoga studio down and I was pleasantly surprised at how many classes are available! There’s a great variety of classes from restorative to power flow to sculpt classes with Pilates infused. And I love that there are shorter 20 and 30 min classes for the days when I don’t have time or energy to do a full hour but still want to practice. The only thing I wish was different is I’d love for it to track which clases you’ve done or at least how many classes you’ve done and what days you’ve done them so you can see how frequently you’re practicing. Please add that feature! Besides that, love the classes, love the energy from the teachers, and thank you for keeping my yoga practice alive during this challenging year!

Love but over priced

I love being able to have CorePower in my home. It is great to be able to take classes while living in an area without a CorePower studio and during this pandemic. I want to continue but feel that the on demand is over priced compared to what you could get in person. The videos tend to be shorter, so a 60min class typically ends up only being 50-55minutes. I love being able to do sculpt at home, but definitely miss the intensity of my instructors back home. The sculpt classes, except for Whitney G and Kira, are challenging, but not nearly as hard as the in person sculpt classes.

Other than that, CorePowerYogaOnDemand is easy to navigate and the videos are fun to follow along with. Just wish that the pricing was more reasonable (like downdog which is $50 for the year) or the BBG app that is $10 a month. I am more likely to continue with those apps because they are more reasonably priced and offer just as much if not more at times.

Love it + some ideas

Really love having so many on-the-go classes to pick from. I like how they have some students doing the class with you and most of the teachers give good guidance on the poses and flow so you don't need to stare at the screen the whole time. The classes are a pretty consistent workout but each teacher is different. Some ideas I’d love to see are: ability to favorite classes vs. ability to track the classes you do, more 30min YS and YSB classes, sort by props needed, sort by low impact (could i do this in a hotel room or apartment without jumping around, etc), recommendations for what classes to try next based off what i just did, customized dashboard to track my progress, and above all more challenges!!! I really like the 7 and 14 day challenges but need more of them!

Streamlined, Customizable, Available

I truly highly enjoy and recommend CorePowerYogaOnDemand. I had signed up before the world changed to try it out. I still preferred the studio, but found this worked well when my school and work schedule were jam packed. After quarantine, I was beyond grateful for CorePowerYogaOnDemand and on demand program. It has helped me beyond measure with my physical and mental health and I LOVE that there are so many different videos and I can do them anytime, pause them, flow with them again, tailor my schedule with the length needed. The only thing missing for me is more CoreRestore videos. There have only been two the whole time CorePowerYogaOnDemand has been out, compared to hundreds of C Power classes and Sculpt classes. PLEASE add more Restore classes!

Great but not perfect!

It is so nice to have access anytime, anywhere, any format to CorePower yoga instruction with the super high quality of yoga that I rely on for my physical, mental, and spiritual health. However, I do wish CorePowerYogaOnDemand had other features like, music on or off, a filter feature for ease of finding the perfect class for the moment (length, focus, intensity level, etc.), different “boosts” to add in, like extra supine core during a flow class, and a few more classes in the less popular categories like core restore, etc. other than that, it’s really really nice to have access to CorePower yoga during a pandemic, with my three small children running around. It’s so great to be able to download a class and do it anywhere. Just stick my earbuds in and all of a sudden, im present! This has been my saving grace!!

Love this app!!

Was a faithful corepower yogi for many years - was lucky to have several studios around me in San Diego. Then I moved 40min away with the closest studio being in the next city. I found myself having YS withdrawal and wished I had another option. Then CorePowerYogaOnDemand popped up on my fb, I gave it shot and bought the one year subscription. I love it. I can do as many classes as I want. There’s so many. I also love there’s 60min, 30min, 20min classes!! They finally have one 60min Core Restore class and a 30min - I complained about that !! And I actually got a response lol. I guess they’re adding classes all the time. I like that I can do an hour YS class then a 30min C2 then a 30min CR class!! They’re challenging and fun. I’m super glad there’s a mobile option. :) and it’s so hot here in Ramona I feel like I’m in a hot yoga room lol

Finally!

I absolutely love Corepower and I’m so happy they finally offer an ondemand option. Even though I have a black tag membership, this is perfect for when I travel or don’t get out of work in time to make my favorite class at the studio.

I’m rating 5 stars because the class style on CorePowerYogaOnDemand matches what’s offered in the studio and it seems to be working well, but I do have some suggestions. First, CorePowerYogaOnDemand should be free or significantly discounted (maybe $10/month) for black tag members. Second, I know new classes are uploaded every month so it’ll take time to get a larger library, but I wish more 60 minute C2 and YS classes could be uploaded each month. Only 4 of these classes in total being added for this past month feels a bit light.

Best Yoga App!

Ever since COVID quarantine started and gyms closed, my boyfriend and I were looking for different workouts and decided to start practicing yoga.
We tried 5 different apps and we weren’t quite comfortable with either of them. Finally we found Core Power Yoga and we knew right after our first practice that our search had ended.
We love the format of the practices, they are perfectly guided and it makes you feel like if you’re at the studio. Also, there’s different levels and different practices to master the fundamentals of some poses (which is useful since we’re new at yoga).
We would definitely recommend Core Power Yoga for anyone, either if you’re a experienced yogi or a newbie just like us!!

Love it!

I’ve have been practicing yoga for almost 20 years and have been going to Core Power regularly for the past 2 1/2 years as a Black Tag member. We moved to a new community a couple of months ago and the CP here has a very limited schedule, so I was getting very bummed about how few classes I could take. However, now that I discovered the on-demand app, I am practicing yoga almost every day instead of just a few times a week. I’m figuring out which classes and teachers I like and am even doing sculpt, which I had previously been too intimidated to do because the classes move so fast. I also appreciate that I can do a short class (20-30 mins) when I’m short on time. I’m a big fan of CorePowerYogaOnDemand and consider it a bargain for $20/month.

Great Variety and Quality

Whether you like to flow to the same set of postures or like to work toward a particular complex posture, CorePowerYogaOnDemand gives you a great variety of classes, tools, levels, teaching styles, and lengths for you choose what you like, when you like for as long as you like. I used to go to their studios because I like their particular type of yoga, so with the pandemic and the large amount of international travel that I do, CorePowerYogaOnDemand has been a fantastic way to keep my practice. You don't even need a great internet connection, because you can download the class if you’re going to a remote place with very sparse internet access) as I did during the pandemic).

Love!

I moved and also had a job change forced on me and it has made regularly going to the studio impossible. My practice was sliding due to all the changes (add COVID-19 craziness on top of that) and then I discovered CorePowerYogaOnDemand! I love it! Though I miss my friends and the studio environment, it’s meeting me where I am right now and I’m so grateful I can continue the format I love. I would just really like to see a lot more Core Restore classes and longer and more in depth meditations. I love using the 60 minute Core Restore on rest days and the 20 minute to supplement harder workouts, but I would really like more variety there. Keep new content coming because CorePowerYogaOnDemand is saving my practice!

Good, but needs work

I like the offline mode that works completely offline unlike Peleton’s preload feature, but other than that it’s pretty basic and a bit sparse. I really wish you could like instructors or hide instructors you don’t like, and the number of classes per instructor is laughably low. 3 or 4 tops for most instructor per class type. There’s only maybe less than 10 hour long sculpt classes with good intense instructors.

Also being able to filter by class length and relative difficulty would also be nice as there’s lots of 30 min or shorter classes unlike regular core power classes. As far as I’m aware there’s no live classes either.

There’s also a bug where every time I start an offline class about a minute in it’ll force me to restart.

Yoga techno music?

I can’t begin to tell you how much I adore and support Core Power Yoga! Started my CP yoga journey 14 years ago and it changed my life for the better! This crazy past year its been wonderful to have onlineClasses but I just have to say I’m very frustrated with the techno club vibe music most online classes seem to have. I think my breaking point was Amy O’s WONDERFUL classes that I am familiar with from San Diego. She is definitely one of my top five favorite ever teachers but I never remember her having Vegas club techno type Music in her classes.I’ve only found a few online classes that don’t play that music (Love Damon J’s HPF:) and I’m so frustrated because I just want some peaceful yoga meditative mellow flowing music Unless I’m taking a fun sculpt class. Would love feedback on this and thoughts about my concerns.

Tyler S is awesome!

I am an experienced yogi and teacher. I thought I wouldn’t be able to survive without the studio. However, through yoga on demand I find I can still practice yoga and enjoy it at home. With the current situation, it can be very difficult to find motivation to do anything. I have to say that I truly love and enjoy Tyler’s classes so much! He is calm and cues moves so well. It never feels like you have to but more like you want to. I also feel part of his class when he is teaching. I just think his classes are great, and I don’t ever write reviews for anything. Just needed to be said. I hope he will post a new hour class soon.

Absolutely LOVE!!

I am beyond grateful to all the staff and instructors at CorePower who took the time and efforts to allow streaming at home. I’m a mother to a 1.5year old and this makes it so convenient with our schedules and gives me no excuse to not do a class because I missed a class at a certain time. Thanks for helping people like me get my motivation back to get into shape and go at my own pace at home and challenge myself. With all the sadness in the world and crisis we are all facing I can say just having CorePower streaming at home has given me a new routine, healthier choices, motivation and a new hope. Thanks to everyone and all you do to allow us this opportunity from home. God bless...Sarah

Almost like the studio! So convenient!

Minus physically being in the studio with the instructor and other students and the heated room this really is like the class experience. This is so convenient when I’m travelling or just don’t feel like rushing to class. CorePowerYogaOnDemand is so much better than the regular CPY app and is simple, to the point, and functions! I’ve been doing CPY for years now and CorePowerYogaOnDemand helps me keep in touch with the flow. Could I easily do CorePowerYogaOnDemand only and skip my membership? Yes but I’ve been going to class for years and my body has strengthened and conditioned itself to the workout so I know how to prevent injury on my own.

More Khushbu and Matt!

This is the best yoga app I’ve tried. New content is added at all levels frequently so you never get bored. Different instructors guide you through similar poses so you learn more with more variety. It’s just like going to a class, but when you are available and you control the thermostat :). You just need a mat and a little space. My only criticism is that some of the instructors like to chit-chat during class and tell a story or anecdote. This gives depth the first time you hear it, but gets annoying when you play that class a few times. Keep it coming CP- totally worth $20 a month!

Outstanding

Wonderful options for stay at home moms. I used to have to plan for a sitter and pay for a membership. It cost so much to take one class. The times never worked out either. Having yoga on demand allows me to practice everyday for only $20 a month!! No it’s not heated but I put on the heat at home and feel like I’m in the class that’s on CorePowerYogaOnDemand . Such great teachers, and options. I love getting to choose which poses I want to work on and how long the class is to fit my life. Would highly recommend for people who travel or stay at home with the kids! Or even for people who are on a budget!

THANK YOU FOR BRINGING THE STUDIO TO ME, CPY

As a CorePower yogi of 6 years now within my 10 year practice, I cannot thank you enough for bringing the studio to me!

I recently moved and found it difficult to get myself in to the studio enough to make my black tag worth it anymore and was saddened to have to cancel. I then turned to a different studio that is on the bottom floor of my new apartment building with hope... sadly, nothing is the same, I longed for my CPY practice back... that is when I remembered the gal from corporate telling me to try CPY on demand when I regretfully had to call her to cancel... and boom! Back into my 4x a week practice!

I’ll have to get to the studio still for my beloved hot yoga classes, but at least I can count on these classes in CorePowerYogaOnDemand to be the CPY style with the great instructors! Not to mention how much I love the multi-day challenges to keep me honest and that I can choose a class based on the time length when in a crunch!

♥️♥️

Great for home or travel!

I’m not sure why there are such bad reviews on here because I love CorePowerYogaOnDemand and program. I can only assume that there were problems before and they fixed them. I cast this to my large screen tv at home and it is just what I was looking for. A variety of lessons depending on what you’re looking for and how much time you have. I signed up for the one week trial just to try it and didn’t have much expectations but the program exceeded what I was looking for and I will continue to subscribe and use it every day!

By

So glad to have this available!

I have done core power at the studio off and on for several years. However, a recent return to graduate school plus full-time work which includes travel means it’s hard for me to get there for now. On demand let’s me continue with a guided practice on my schedule. I like that there are varied class lengths, too. Some days if I was looking at an hour class I’d likely talk myself out of it but I can always get myself on the mat for at least 20 minutes. So, hooray! I’m grateful for this option.

Classes are good but app can improve

Classes are very good.

App needs improvements.
1. Ability to sort by time duration.
it is very hard to see time stamps on each video. Currently only options are to sort alphabetically (option that I never use) or date released.

2. Ability to identify which class have already been included
Something as simple as a check mark or date completely next to the title. There is no way to know if you completed a class unless you go to another screen.

3. Meditation is not relaxing.
Please refer to meditation with yoga glo to compare. Core meditation is very loud and distracting. The tone of the instructors and music in the background. Also does not have a lot of options. Lastly tone sounds like a yoga teacher is doing meditation instead of some one who focuses on meditation (which creates a completely different experience).

I love the classes. I love the consistency around the c1 classes that is why I use CorePowerYogaOnDemand .

Excellent home yoga workout

I loved Core Power yoga studio classes. But life and family got in the way. This is the next best thing! Plus, since my house isn’t nearly as hot or humid as a Core Power yoga class, I don’t get so deep into the poses...a good thing! I find I can ‘back out’ of positions and really use my breath to focus on the positions. Im really enjoying CorePowerYogaOnDemand. The teachers are outstanding, just like being in a live class and the classes offered are fun and challenging. Highly recommend!

By

Thank you Core Power!

You’ll never beat the studio experience of CorePower Yoga, but ALMOST! CorePowerYogaOnDemand is worth every penny. When I had to move away from my home studio I didn’t know what I would do. OnDemand brings the studio to you, and has made yoga so much more accessible for someone on the go as much as I am. I love the download feature so I don’t have to worry about poor reception if I travel to remote areas.

By

Great home workout!

I’ve been loving CorePowerYogaOnDemand - it’s a great home workout and saves me time instead of going to the studio and the price is much cheaper than having a membership. The selection of classes is somewhat slim, especially if you’re looking to do hour long Yoga Sculpt practices everyday, but I know more are loaded each month. Definitely worth my money for the workout and accessibility.

By

OD

I really enjoy OD, I love seeing familiar faces of the teachers and it makes me feel like I have a piece of the studio at home. I will say the music is just ok. Also, I hope you FREQUENTLY add more videos otherwise it’s not worth $20 a month. I am now done with the free trial but I also have gone thru every c2 hour long practice you have along with a few 20 min YS. So as to my point, you need to add videos frequently.

Fantastic yoga!

High-quality instruction married with the comfort of my own home. I love CorePower’s dedication to making yoga even more accessible. Gorgeous studios and quality sound make it easy to get lost in your yoga flow. The instructors are personable, and explain poses in depth with room to adjust to your personal level. Absolutely recommend as a compliment to your home workout or in-studio routine!
