3 years agoHi, I have sometimes watched MSG GO through my Verizon cable subscription when I travel. I have switched over to Optimum Cable which should also allow me to view MSG GO. I manage to log in with my Optimum Password but when I click on any videos, nothing happens. Is it a temporary problem with your site or does MSG GO not like Optimum? Something I need to do? thank you, Alexander Stille

3 years agoWhy does MSG GO start 5 minutes after the start time on electronic devices. Example: On air at 7:00, it comes on the device at 7:05. Then when the game starts it jumps ahead 10-20 seconds at a time, all game long. The audio skips or hiccups, which is annoying. It goes in and out.

Spotty at best.
OK..Let's get the "good" part out the way first. When watching on my phone, on the go or even at home it works decently. However, don't try to use your phone for ANYTHING else. I am not a cord cutter. Unfortunately I still pay a monthly bill to Cablevision. MSG Network looks terrible when broadcasting live on their regular channels. Watching Knicks or Rangers games isn't pleasant on their native resolution. That goes for most channels when watching on regular cable. I prefer to use my Roku TV and download all the channels, log in to my cable provider and stream my content. Using AirPlay will be ideal IF it was reliable. When I'm connected, the stream looks waaaaay better than when I'm watching it on regular cable. However, like other reviews have stated, it crashes OFTEN. I may get 10-12 minutes of action before it freezes. AirPlay is spotty at best. Please MSG, make MSG GO an app we can download on Roku.

Should be called MSG NO-GO!!
This app is absolute GARBAGE! Do not believe the reviews. Try streaming this on the Go right before a game and you will be extremely disappointed. As soon as you go into the app is will seize up and not load a thing; just a blank black screen! I turned off my phone and also deleted the app and the problems continue to persist on the go. If you are on wifi, it isn’t a problem but that defeats the whole purpose of the app! —Will remove this review when the issue is addressed because currently it is AWFUL!

Without a doubt the worst app I use regularly.
I could go on and on about the horrible UI and UX, ridiculous Airplay issues, lack of functionality, terrible treatment of advertisers and customers on this platform… but at the end of the day the only thing you really need to know is that THE iPAD APPLICATION STILL DOESN’T HAVE LANDSCAPE SUPPORT. You can watch the video in landscape, but to get to any video content you need to rotate your iPad. In a video app. I hate every second of using this app and it single-handedly makes me loathe MSG as a company. So, great job.
