I’ve had SprinkleofJesus for months. Have loved the encouragement it’s brought on a daily basis.. then all of a sudden it started throwing in political slams here and there, attempting (but failing) to tie it in with Jesus.. Like no thanks, I’m not interested in your political views or like/dislike for our president when I’m supposed to be reading something that will encourage and challenge me for the day. So, I kept SprinkleofJesus but was kind of annoyed.. Then a friend got a notification.. a perverted “Christian Joke” was the notification they got today. Seriously??! That’s what you share claiming Christ as you do? App has now been deleted, my friend’s post is being shared all over Facebook and more people are deleting it. You try so hard to censor trash and negativity constantly thrown out way. Never expected it from a source like this.. Very disappointed.

I originally downloaded SprinkleofJesus because I am a devout christian and wanted some more inspiration in my life. However as time went on having SprinkleofJesus, there were many posts that i thought were wrong and worldly and against what God would say or do. The final straw for me was when they did a post that said “Jesus tried to come back but Trump wouldn’t let him into the US”. There are several things about this post that upset me, one being that God is all powerful and could make anything happen so Jesus would be able to come into the US. Also I felt it was extremely inappropriate to bring politics into a post from SprinkleofJesus, it is supposed to be christian encouragement and politics have nothing to do with that. The final thing being that if someone is not fully sure in their faith and is a Trump supporter, this could cause them to drift from their faith. SprinkleofJesus has inappropriate posts and when I went to send an email complaining about this post there was no way to contact them on the internet app store or even in SprinkleofJesus hence me now doing a review. If i could rate this a 0 I would.

SprinkleofJesus was super encouraging at first, and incredibly profound! Then over time the quotes that would pop up in my notifications seemed a little sassy - I’m ok with sass so it was kind of fun to see what was next!
(My favorite sassy one was “Jesus didn’t die on the cross for you to become a side chick...”)
My issue with that increased when I started seeing political stances being taken regarding the white house’s current elected officials and nothing was said to honor those in leadership, but to only throw shade. If you’re going to name your app sprinkle of Jesus, and be seemingly unbiased, you might want to actually know a little more about Jesus himself. He’s not merely some dude that died for a get out of jail free card; he cultivated a culture of honor for those around him.
All this to say, it was a fun ride initially, but that last political satire threw me over the edge. I don’t even like sprinkles.

So initially I liked SprinkleofJesus . The daily quotes made you think and were even relatable. However, recently there have been tons of notifications pushing Christian businesses which is great but not the purpose I downloaded SprinkleofJesus and more alarming there have been some inappropriate quotes that made me cringe. (1) did not line up with scripture, basically saying that if you were not praying God doesn’t love or want you... that could not be farther from the truth! (2) this quote comparing God and being on your knees for an ungodly man made me sick to my stomach. I found this to be disgusting and vulgar. I am confident that young eyes and minds are reading these messages and sadly, that just doesn’t seem truly GODLY, especially associating the two together. What a tasteless quote to blast off. I think I’ve had my fill. I’m now trying to uninstall SprinkleofJesus from my phone.

When I first downloaded SprinkleofJesus the daily messages were a nice, refreshing, inspirational break in my day. However, then the promotions started to come through, multiple times per day. Ads for curly hair? Skin care? Baffling! Sometimes more frequently than the daily “boosters”. The last straw for me was when SprinkleofJesus had to be opened in order to see the daily “sprinkles”. Because I turn my cellular data off for most apps to save on my data usage, getting the annoying persistent notifications to disappear took multiple steps. This was truly disappointing and frustrating! Misplacing simplicity and ease of messaging for selfish and needless keystrokes, in my opinion. And to give app users control over their notification setting is a dealbreaker. The developers should have made better judgements as I will never use SprinkleofJesus again.

i was recommended this by a girl in my yearbook class freshman year. she always talked about how it motivated her throughout the day and never failed to make her smile. i got SprinkleofJesus and each notification was relevant to what i needed to hear. but then, that changed in November.
i barely got my daily notifications i was promised. i started to question if SprinkleofJesus was still up and running, but i kept getting the annoying “expand your business with us!” notifications and i wouldn’t be questioned. i was on my phone one night on the way home and all these alerts came up, and it was them sending out missed days of alerts. i got quite annoyed with it, as i was supposed to get them at a certain time. i then stopped getting them completely in February, and noticed beforehand that they were repeated to what i’ve seen before. i then deleted SprinkleofJesus in late May after finding out the company isn’t really Christian based at all, it’s just motivational quotes they pull out of archives.
if you want to support a Christian based company that will send our Christian based quotes instead of society standpoint, check out Eternal Sunshine. it has replaced my Sprinkle of Jesus and is the cutest app!! no annoying alerts like SprinkleofJesus does. i used to vibe with this, but i couldn’t after hearing the true basis of the company. truly disappointed.

I’ve been using SprinkleofJesus for over 6 years . It has helped me getting through rough patches as well! Back in 2017 I got a notification saying “you’re experiencing pain because God is getting ready to birthday something in your life”. I kid you not, 15 days later I found out I was pregnant. However it’s been almost a year and I haven’t received any notifications. That’s strange because I would receive them everyday and was kind of depending on them. Now I have to go into SprinkleofJesus and look through the notifications just to see a message. The last message on there says Sept 24th I believe. So it’s not updated messages. I’m not sure if things have changed due to COVID but they haven’t communicated that. They send out unnecessary notifications, they need to send out a necessary notification about what has happened.

i used to love SprinkleofJesus. i downloaded it 2 years ago, and every notification i received was perfect timing, and God was using SprinkleofJesus to show His presence. i used to receive many notifications straight from the Word of God and uplifted my spirit to see His Word pop up on my screen. but over the past couple weeks, i’ve noticed that SprinkleofJesus has started to conform to ideas that this world thinks are acceptable. i rarely get Scripture based content anymore, and i sensed God had stopped using SprinkleofJesus , because the messages started to become very worldly. i had one the other day that talked about manifesting what you want in life and you will receive it. a principle called the law of attraction/ manifestation teaches these very same ideas. manifestation puts you as the god of your life, instead of putting the true God as Lord. i rarely write reviews, because there are so many other things i could be doing to advance God’s Kingdom, but when people are being deceived spiritually, God put it on my heart to share this. all the blessings to the makers of SprinkleofJesus, and i pray they’ll return to preaching the true Word of God as they were originally.

I recently downloaded Sprinkle Of Jesus. I started getting really encouraging quotes for the next few days. One day I got a quote that stated, “Are you feeling stressed or emotional.” It said something like that and you could either click “dismiss” or “learn more.” I actually have been struggling with stress lately and so I clicked “learn more”. It brought me to a video about crystals and how the vibrations can send energy your way. Now I don’t know about you, but I ain’t no crystals gonna help me with stress. Only JESUS can!!! I downloaded SprinkleofJesus for scriptures and encouragement. Not for some ad about crystals to help with stress!! SprinkleofJesus is called “Sprinkle Of Jesus”, which means I should be getting a sprinkle of Jesus. If they would stop with the ads I would be more than happy to download it again.

When I first downloaded SprinkleofJesus, I REALLY liked it. I even told all the girls in my Bible Study about it. But over time, I started liking it less and less.
- The first time I had a problem with it was when they had the notification about Trump not letting Jesus back into the US. Not a necessary comment; I don’t believe that politics should ever be mentioned in an app like this.
- I am also not a fan of all the ads for curly hair/blemished skin. Definitely not necessary for an app where Christian encouragement is the highlight. I think those ads are pointless and unneeded.
- Lastly, I don’t like all the grammatical errors that occur in several notifications. Every few notifications I receive seem to have some sort of spelling error. I would greatly appreciate a spellcheck before sending notifications out. Included in this, something VERY important: God’s names, and all the time He’s being referred to, should ALL be capitalized. “He,” “His,” etc. should all start with a capital letter. I don’t think that’s too much to ask.
Overall, I’m becoming more and more disappointed in SprinkleofJesus. So much, that I’m close to deleting it. Which is a bummer because at one point, I really enjoyed it.

When I first downloaded SprinkleofJesus (via heating about it on social media) everything was GREAT! I’d get daily inspirational messages that’ll keep me empowered. Great blog posts and articles to read about different topics in reference to Christian faith. Even had a chance to share ideas in the discussion post. That all changed when there was a discussion post that was about “being celibate”. The comments that were in there had NOTHING to do with the Christian Faith. It was basically a sex-ed discussion. Right then and there I knew SprinkleofJesus had fell off tremendously. In addition, I have not been receiving any inspiration notifications except the “Do you want to be an entrepreneur”😕. There’s a lot of glitches that need to be fixed. I hope the founders of SprinkleofJesus does reads these reviews and does something about it. I’m all for the Sprinkle of Jesus movement BUT if there’s no improvement I need to be moving on to something better.

SprinkleofJesus is amazing for what it’s pushing in the Christian community: from Connect groups to chatting to sermons and even music it would seem SprinkleofJesus is like the garden of eden! But alas I see SprinkleofJesus has not been updated for over a year so it makes sense that it’s ridiculously buggy. Like location settings is always on...why?,I can’t click on comment notifications to reference back to a post, the chat seems archaic, and overall the design is cool but I think you all should consider focusing more on the functionality of you app rather than “making it look good” otherwise your real supporters will call you out and hold you to a higher standard. Thanks love you all :).

This apps was one of my favorites but recently things have changed and it’s bothersome. The reason why I gave 3 stars it’s because I still enjoyed the regular notifications that used to receive when I first downloaded the apps. But recently I’ve been receiving other notifications every time someone posts a quote and it’s annoying. Also I cannot access the apps contents such as the different speaker messages or musics. Every time I opened the apps I’m stuck with a blank page. It did say that I have new contents available to download and that doesn’t help. Please fix these issues because I loved hearing some inspirational messages from good speakers and it’s frustrating when I cannot access them anymore through this apps.

Overall, I do enjoy SprinkleofJesus. It sends out notifications to uplift and encourage people which is something I feel we all need from time to time. However, SprinkleofJesus is called Sprinkle of Jesus not Sprinkle of Politics. Just yesterday a notification was sent out in reference to our president that I found to be highly inappropriate, not encouraging or uplifting at all. I do understand everyone has their own beliefs and views but there was absolutely no reason to send out that kind of notification to millions of people who have SprinkleofJesus. Joking or not, it shouldn’t have been sent out. SprinkleofJesus will do perfectly fine with only sending out scriptures, reassuring and inspirational quotes because I promise, Jesus wouldn’t be making “jokes” like that.

Originally, I loved SprinkleofJesus for the daily devotionals. However, over time, SprinkleofJesus began to become average. When you join a group, it notifies you of all group posts, even those you are not a member of. And there is no way to turn this off. Then, the daily prayer has been the same prayer that was posted at the beginning of the new year. Lastly, the devotionals have slowed down. They used to come twice a day around the same time. Now, I can recall at least a few days where nothing came through. I understand it’s a small organization possibly operating with a few staff, so I hope things will improve over time. They’ve recently started charging entrepreneurs to feature themselves in SprinkleofJesus , so I anticipate salaries being made available for more staff to assist with bugs. Just now, I tried opening SprinkleofJesus and it never left the main page and the menu button is not available.

I am constantly growing in my faith. A friend of mine shared a screenshot on Facebook of a daily devotional she had and it was so relevant to my day. I downloaded SprinkleofJesus and fell in LOVE with it.
I would only suggest that there be a fix made to the loading time of content. I have a high speed connection and it always takes a long time to load each page. The only other suggestion would be that SprinkleofJesus is crashing at some points. It will completely shut out of SprinkleofJesus .
Please continue the hard work as I Love the content and the devotions that are on here. Much Love and blessings!😍God bless you!

Starting to think sprinkle of jesus is trying to put in its two cents about my love life. I’m frequently getting notifications while I text my crushes, boyfriends, etc. I was making a meme out of a picture of my emotionally abusive ex (we were still together at the time) and I got a notification that said “have you ever dated the wrong guy that left you hurt, broken, and lead you away from God?” and I ended it three days later. My camera roll now has an entire album of screenshots devoted to creepily timed sprinkle of jesus notifications. But THANK YOU SO MUCH! These words always hit right on the money and my new, godly, kind, supportive man and I love deciphering what the notifications mean about us. We get them while we’re together, while we’re texting or calling, or even when I just happen to be thinking about him. Still trying to convince him to download it, but he’s understandably a bit freaked out. Thank you sprinkle of jesus for keeping it real!

I have been using SprinkleofJesus for several months now, and I love it. I had a problem that I complained about in my review yesterday, and it was promptly fixed today.
People have been complaining about the changes in inspirational messages. I agree that I like the older messages better. But I disagree with people’s interpretation about the “side chick” messages.
There are a lot of people who are still tangled up in sin. Jesus came to set the captive free. There may be a side chick out there that needs to know Jesus died so that she can live better than that. There may be a side chick out there that needs to know that she doesn’t have to settle for a piece of a man when she can have all of Jesus.
And from the comments, there are some Christians that need to know that “Jesus died for the side chick too.” The church needs to stop being so bloated, so worried about making sure they get catered to and encouraged that they put their own satisfaction and opinions above reaching the lost. Christians need to get their priorities right.

SprinkleofJesus has stood by me through thick and thin throughout the past few years and every time I seemed to go through something difficult, it weirded me out how relatable the random sayings were that popped up in my notifications. I have seriously loved SprinkleofJesus and it’s become a habit to look forward to these sayings from my app that gives me a breath of fresh air every day and helps me feel closer to God. However, today I have some negativity for the first time towards SprinkleofJesus . I randomly got a saying that says “ Jesus was trying to come back but Trump stopped him at customs.” I’m not a very political person but when you try to correlate Trump, our president, with God... I don’t see how that ties in to my every day life. What if I didn’t live in America? I’m almost offended that someone tried to push something political into my positive habit of looking forward to a saying that actually matters. Something positive and pushing me to be a better me, Christian or not. I like the saying that draws me in, not make me believe in a biased opinion. Now, I’m debating on deleting SprinkleofJesus or not.

I’m currently balling tears of happiness. I LOVE SprinkleofJesus. I will be going through something big or small and in the midst of it I will get a sprinkle of Jesus. The amazing part is that 9/10 times it relates PERFECTLY to my situation, it is so perfectly sent out by Jesus himself. A bunch of my friends have SprinkleofJesus and say the same thing happens to them! I just had an amazing experience just now. A big issue I’ve been dealing with for months and prayed and prayed about was finally answered. I instantly started crying. Then even better yet, I got a sprinkle saying “You’re stepping into a chapter of answered prayers! God has heard you!” and I am just so beyond grateful for God’s work through SprinkleofJesus. I highly recommend it.. my absolute FAVORITE app!!❤️❤️
