Drats. Was looking forward to downloading app until I read the system requirements. At least I have batteries in my radio.
Had to remove WPRIPinpointWeather12. Unfortunate because WPRI is quite accurate at the weather forecast.
WPRIPinpointWeather12 is, and has been horrible for years. I recently tried to revisit being the website is so bad…app is still horrible. The worse and most aggravating part is the “weather now” video. If you accidentally hit the screen, it pauses the video and then forces you to watch another ad before restarting. This is after already watching an ad on the start. This is sneaky and intentional. I’m literally deleting it as I write this.
WPRIPinpointWeather12 has more adds than any other I have ever seen. Wanna check the weather? Get ready for an add to pop up every 5-10 seconds that you need to X out of to actually read anything. Wanna read the news? Get ready for an annoying body shop ad that makes you X out of it of or your forced to watch their video. WPRIPinpointWeather12 itself really isn’t of a bad design but the ads are too much that will ultimately force you to use a competitors app.
First time I opened WPRIPinpointWeather12, one of those contest to win an amazon gift card popped up. WPRIPinpointWeather12 has been deleted
This use to be a weather only app that worked perfectly with no glitches. Now it has transformed into the Eyewitness News app that has no weather videos. Michelle was the best each morning. Sadly, I'll have to find another RI weather app.
I had to delete WPRIPinpointWeather12 because it’s riddled with ads. It’s too bad because I always tune to Channel 12 for my weather.
For over a week now there are no weather videos. All it says is “no content available “
Since latest update, now crashes when I try to open it.
Why can’t I bring WPRIPinpointWeather12 up on my device it’s asking for password I haven’t had this issue before thought WPRIPinpointWeather12 was free. What’s up???
Can’t deal with any more Fagan Door ads. Warnings are not up to the minute. When u get them at all, the worst has passed.
WPRIPinpointWeather12 would be okay without the loud ongoing Fagan Door commercial that can’t be stopped when X-ing. Since I cannot stop the ad I’ve deleted WPRIPinpointWeather12
WPRIPinpointWeather12 used to work flawlessly but lately it keeps crashing if you rotate your device to view a video. After the video ad, a static ad briefly pops up and WPRIPinpointWeather12 crashes. Had to delete WPRIPinpointWeather12 & go old school via the Internet to view videos. 😠
Can’t get updated videos. Screen is black. Ads work but play repeatedly

Banner ads are fine, but full screen pop-up ads as well? The funniest part is that the pop-ups are from the same advertisers as the banner ads! I can tell you right now that Navigant Credit Union will not be my bank of choice anytime soon! Aside from all that, WPRIPinpointWeather12 works fine!
Pretty decent app but the weather video, my favorite thing about WPRIPinpointWeather12, is forever buffering. Takes 10 minutes to watch a 3 minute clip.
I count on the weather videos for updated forecasts & it has always been reliable & informative along with the radar, but now the Weather Video is no longer accessible & just shows a black screen.
Please bring back the weather videos on WPRIPinpointWeather12. Thank you
I see the reviews complaining about ads making WPRIPinpointWeather12 unusable. I don’t get ads except the occasional single ad that I X out of and that’s that. Most time I don’t even get that, just a banner that doesn’t interfere with anything. Never once saw an Amazon add. The forecasts are good. The radar excellent. I use this weather app more than any other.
My AccuWeather App said rain stops at 10pm. WPRIPinpointWeather12 said No, the rain doesn’t stop. This was the second time WPRIPinpointWeather12 was correct, AccuWeather wrong. 2 to zip, and I need to dry the dog off.
