I love the fact that I can use this from my phone as I’m working but it only works great when AvayaWorkplace actually functions. I have to keep AvayaWorkplace open on my screen the whole time for it to work. As soon as I go to another app, home screen, or just lock the screen when AvayaWorkplace is open, I never get any calls or even notifications that it’s ringing.... I’m running the latest iOS version of the iPhone 11 and have everything on my phone settings turned on for AvayaWorkplace including background refresh. This needs to be fixed ASAP cuz it’s really eliminating the usefulness of this entire app. As soon as it’s fixed, I’ll be more than happy to edit my review and give this 5 stars

Version 3.21.1 still has the same issues presented in version 3.21. I use CES (Client enablement Services) and I cannot turn the incoming calls on or off since version 3.21. Also when a client calls me on my desk phone and it rings in the mobile app when I answer the desk phone the mobile keeps ringing and it does not turn off. This is very annoying as it creates a bridge when it goes to voicemail and I have to hang up and call the client back. Also, if I have a secondary line with delay it rings immediately instead of waiting for 2 or 3 rings and then ringing. Before version 3.21 I did not have these problems. When will they be fixed?

Avaya Equinox lets me take my work number with me on my iPhone. No need to give out my cell number for business activities! I’ve been using it trouble-free for over 6 months. Calendar integration makes it easy to jump onto conference calls... can view collaboration sessions. Presence helps me know who I can reach at a moments notice. App Call Log and call log integration with the iPhone’s native call log is a real plus.

Simply awesome! This makes doing business from virtually anywhere possible. Make and receive voice and video calls as well as really intuitive conferencing features while on the go. I actually listened and watched an entire presentation on a flight from Dallas to NYC using in flight WiFi and it was excellent!! Much better quality than other platforms I’ve tried!

On the most recent versions, the incoming call notifications do not appear/sound unless the application is active on screen. In other words, if the screen is locked or another application is being actively used, you will never know that the phone is ringing and therefore cannot accept or reject it.

Have been using the desktop client for a while and love it. To now have the same feature set on my iphone is very empowering. I can start a session at my office and seamlessly continue it on my mobile device. Same applies to mobile then office. A must have app for road warriors! I even added a version of the EQ app on my iMac at home.

App crashes upon opening on iOS 14 using version 3.9 I uninstalled AvayaWorkplace several times and reinstalled it with the same issue. Version 3.8.9 was working with no issue on iOS 14. Is there a way I can revert back to the previous version for now until you fix the current version? Really need AvayaWorkplace on my phone working.

I thought the next update would include the fix for iOS 14 as you stated? It still has same issue with 3.9.1 update............FIX THIS ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to delete AvayaWorkplace due to business calls not staying in AvayaWorkplace . This filled my cell phone calls and voicemail up. Hopefully this was fixed with the last fix.

A couple months ago AvayaWorkplace started doing something where it is always running on my phone. I do NOT want this and there is no way I can see to fix it. I’m out sick today and I had my phone on do not disturb and I actually had a call ring through from AvayaWorkplace. I’m thinking about deleting it from my phone altogether and just taking calls on my laptop again if though the sound isn’t great on that for calls.

Another user left a review about not getting calls unless AvayaWorkplace was open front and center. I too am having the same problem. I’ve been driving myself crazy the past few weeks thinking something is wrong with my phone. Deleted everything off the phone, even ended up buying a new iPhone Xr two days ago, problem still persists... super annoyed.. it’s affecting my ability to do my job!

I am able to make calls, but disconnects right away. This started occurring with update prior to this one, and latest update does not fix it. Will do the same thing both on wifi and LTE. It’s a shame since I’ve been using AvayaWorkplace to call clients on my iPad with my office phone number since the beginning of the pandemic. I hope it gets resolved quickly.

Great App when deployed correctly! For people complaining about AvayaWorkplace not taking a call when in the background, this is Apple saving battery life. You need the Avaya Aura Web Gateway to support Apple’s Push Notification API.

AvayaWorkplace is okay and is great when working. For some reason I cannot always transfer calls. It will act like it’s transferring and then the person will still be there. This is one of the most useful tools of AvayaWorkplace so when it doesn’t work 75% of the time it ruins AvayaWorkplace .

App appears to be working better than previously. The biggest complaint I and my colleagues have is that if we don’t open AvayaWorkplace first thing every day calls from the office will not come through to it.

So many missed calls.

Sometimes I can’t hear the other caller. The other caller is using the desktop version of AvayaWorkplace .
The most recent update lets me hear the calls ring so that’s great. But I sometimes hear dead air when I answer the call.

Compared to Avaya One-X Mobile, the graphical interface is more complex, not friendly, power users may handle it but sales people have it hard. Battery consumption still a big issue, if you’re on the road it may left you out of business pretty soon if you’re not aware of battery level. Sales people had to uninstall, big boss says it was money wasted

I’m currently using AvayaWorkplace to work from home so I can take calls. The functionality of AvayaWorkplace isn’t that great. Not able to put caller on hold then dial another extension to talk to them before a transfer is done. Needs to be improved and work like office phone. Can this be fixed??

No matter how many times I have talked to the help desk at my site, phone calls can only be transferred to my phone once, which is when I was on the phone doing a test with help desk. In addition, I have received spam calls and calls from site people that never was alerted in the system until two days or so after they called.

My job has had us using AvayaWorkplace for over a year now and it has never worked for more than a single phone call. It will constantly crash within the first 10 seconds of launching AvayaWorkplace , and both customer service and my work IT like to point and blame the other. I have the newest iPhone, and still no progress.

We have been using AvayaWorkplace for my company for nearly six months, and it has probably worked less than a week. It locks me out, crashes, doesn’t accept credentials, logs off without warning, and sometimes closes in the middle of using it. Nearly everyone using iPhone is having the same issues.

Frustrating app! Grays over my voice messages when I try playing them. Puts voice messages in my iphone’s voice mail sometimes. My clients consistently tell me my personal number, not my work number set up in AvayaWorkplace , shows up on their caller ID. Some days I don’t receive calls. I have to use app for work. What the heck! Fix these problems already!

Easy to use and intuitive. Like how it brings everything together in one app. Calendar, contacts, IM, presence, video, and voice.

I was waiting on the iOS 12.1 release hoping that the notification issue would be resolved, that did not happen. I have AvayaWorkplace deployed to all of my corporate users and I am now at the point where we are going to have to wipe it from all of our devices.

Hi hope u see this... are you on iOS 12 or 12.0.1? If so, there’s a known iOS bug for those versions that will “break” your equinox mobile app, behaving as you outlined it... 12.1 and 12.1.2 are ok

I use AvayaWorkplace for work and randomly it will sign me out and then I’m not able to receive or make calls for awhile because it then takes forever to sign me back in.

I love this tool, provides mobile calling, IM, calendar integration and the easiest access to join meetings in the market place.

A business app for mobile calling that cannot support the latest OS for iPhone (a month after release and several months since betas were available) is useless, especially for a business app.

The call history is showing missed calls from contacts that never called me. Otherwise AvayaWorkplace is great.

AvayaWorkplace has always been unreliable, but with iOS 12, it just doesn’t work. Really a detriment to our business and we will be seeking other solutions.

Please fix integration with iOS 12, having to keep AvayaWorkplace open and loaded to get calls is just not good.
