iKlips update has destroyed much of the iKips device functionality. I purchased two 64gb versions in 2015 and was very satisfied with the device and the companion iOS app. It worked for backing up photos and video from my iPhone and iPad on the fly which is why I got it. Recently after updating the iOs app, I discovered the the “improved” UI was not only less user friendly, but when trying to back up any files, I received the message: “Caution Please connect your this app” despite the fact that it WAS connected. After trying everything from reconnecting the drive to my phone to deleting and reinstalling iKlips , this was still the case. By selecting “All Files", it allows you to copy a file to iKlips Storage within iKlips which for me and I suspect many others, is completely useless since the idea is to back up the data to an external device, allowing one to free up space on the phone. Additionally, the only online tutorial Adam Elements has shows iKlips UI prior to this awful update. Finally, I emailed Adam Elements outlining the issues and to date heven't received a response. Avoid this like the plague. There are now a number of other companies producing iOS flash drives and hopefully at least one makes an app that works.

I hoped this reader would be answer to transferring my 4K 60fps videos from the DJI Osmo Pocket to my iPhone 8 Plus. It does, but half the videos are sometimes choppy and unreliable. You never know how it’ll turn out until after the transfer. The reason for the one star rating is that once you transfer a video file, it’s automatically deleted from the card! You can go back and try again! Now I’m afraid to transfer anything with my card... I’m afraid of losing my work. Am I doing something wrong? I simply can’t recommend this card to anyone until they have a fix.

Funny thing is it works on my iPhone but not on the iPad. It could be due to the most recent update. My iPad updates automatically but my iphone doesn’t due to my limited storage on that device. So basically it’s iKlips update. Please fix this problem. I literally just got this thing right before the update and I need it to remove pics & video from my iPad.

My iPhone runs out of space because I video a lot - so I airdrop all my content to the iPad and edit them later. Now I need it off my iPad I can’t get it off. For some reason every data cord I buy doesn’t work when it comes to long videos, hence the reason I needed the this app. And I refuse to give Apple more of my money than I already do and buy cloud space. Besides I don’t trust the cloud. Anyway, I just need iKlips to work. Please fix it.

Adams Elements this app usb/apple lightening connector combo worked flawlessly with my older iPad. I cannot recommend iKlips with the new IPad Pro in any way.
You can use it with your Microsoft PC but that is not why I purchased it. No longer works after the upgrade. Does a not even recognized the jump drive anymore. Keep asking to insert the drive.
Please do not waste your money buying this app products!

I bought this to keep files on so I don’t use up all of my ipad storage, as well as transfer files back and forth from my iMac, however I don’t see anything to do that and there are no instructions on how to use this. It seems this is just to use for photos and social media. What a waste. Maybe I can sell this on ebay and get some of my money back.

I still love the ability to move photos from my scanner to my iPhone 11 and my laptop but it is no longer compatible with mi new IPad Pro and newt phones that have usb C ports instead of lightning ports. I wish you offered an adapter so all my stored files were accessible on all my devices. If so, I would give it 5 stars instead of needing to replace it with a new device.

I own this app II Adam for the last three years and it functions beautifully, only when I updated iKlips with its new interface, am not able to access this new UI, files could be found through the files app on IOS However.. I appreciate support from the manufacturers to resolve this issue .. thank you

I just got the new Adam Elements drive yesterday, and so far I like it a lot. iKlips leaves something to be desired.

I do like how fully featured it is, though there are still some things missing. But the worst part is how buggy it is. I’ve been using iKlips for less than an hour and I’ve already run into at least six different bugs, one of which made me redo five minutes of work!

iKlips also keeps pestering me to make an account. It doesn’t say why, and I don’t see any reason to, so I tap “skip”, but it asks me again 20 minutes later. No thank you.

I have files stored in three different Google Drive accounts, but there’s no way to authenticate iKlips with more than one at a time.

There’s more to say but that’s all the time I have for now. I’m going to email the developer about my concerns and I’ll try to remember to update this review.

Having the ability to off-load some data (e.g. photos or mp3) can be critical if your phone is filling up, but it has to be simple for it to be effective. this app has done a good job here. The user interface is a big improvement over the previous version. I have deducted one star because they need to provide “Help” in some form within iKlips .

I have had the Klips flash drive for several years. I have downloaded numerous info to the numerous folders. It works great with the USB or the Apple adapter. I will be buying more of them. They require several different authenticities of your choosing. Give the flash drive a 10!!

This is iKlips my iPhone usb uses to move files around. I’ve just used it for one day but had to problems. I easily moved files from my computer to my phone and from my phone to my computer. It can handle large files without crashing (I was copying 200 photos which took less than 1 minute). Aesthetic layout and easy to use!

I just updated iKlips version 4.0.4 sence that it don’t work at all on my iPhoneX !! I can’t see or transfer pictures or videos it says that needs to be connected will it is connected to my iPhone I’m stock now with a none working product I also lost all my pictures n videos that I had beacause it’s not working properly I try to contact the company but never had a answer back....

I use this for my work as well as pleasure. I take a lot of photos which get uploaded for Instagram. It's very helpful to be able to down load from my boss's phone, our iPads, and to share key photos. It's easy to use and manage. I'm in my mid-sixties and my boss is older.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I can transfers files from my desktop at home to my phone and then to my desktop at work with ease. Especially for those large files that can’t be emailed. This is a fantastic product and works flawlessly.

This is the device and app I’ve wanted for a long time. They work FLAWLESSLY! So far, I have purchased multiple devices as gifts to give friends and family. I tell everyone with an Apple device that they MUST make this their first purchase. Thank you SO much for making this app Duo+!!!

This is no ordinary “thumb drive” smooth, seamless and super compatible. Wanted a removable storage device I didn’t have to worry about between operating platforms. This is IT! iKlips was great from the beginning and just keeps getting better! Adam Elements knocked this out of of the park!!

Works well since all of my projects are done on my iPhone. The recent updates have made it much easier to navigate and transfer files.

I've been using iKlips since a long time and I love it with every update, not only is a way to backup my pictures but to watch videos and listen to music that you don't have in the device! The improvements that I would make are little like compatibility with rar and formatted this app. Overall is one of the best ones to manage your files!

Very easy to use. Install their app & plug it in. It gives u a list & u choose what to save photo/contacts etc. in about a minute it’s done. Then plug into a computer or laptop. Works very well

Great way to store & carry. Easy to use app with this app. Easy to carry as well. Have had other storage devise with iPhone lighting plug. Easier to use with app. Other connections available.
