I use Cosplanner all the time and hardly have issues with it! I definitely recommend it! The only reason I don’t give it the full 5 stars is because it only lets you put a certain amount a reference photos per cosplay. If you want to put in more, you have to pay extra money. Other than that, Cosplanner is super awesome and it’s definitely worth a try!

i love how organized this is and that it’s built specifically for planning cosplays, it’s really been a huge help. However, it can be really buggy. I can’t even log into an actual account so i can transfer my cosplans through devices, it just crashes and closes Cosplanner . Also, sometimes if you’re on a certain page for too long it crashes as well. overall, really amazing app but there’s just some things that need to be fixed.

This would be a perfect app for me if only a few little things were changed. The biggest of these changes would be allowing the user to delete costume entries. Sometimes people plan things and will write them down only to decide they have too much else to do or that they no longer want to do that costume. Other than that its all little tweaks I can live without.

I really enjoy Cosplanner it’s been extraordinarily helpful but I do wish to make some changes.
There needs to be more photo allowances than the 5 limit photo. Cosplayers has a lot of visuals and zoom in on specific details
A crop and expand tool within the phot functions would also be great and then saving those zooms can be part of the album overall. It makes using Cosplanner more of a priority than going to print the photo and zooming a million times on different details for multiple copies.
More allowance on the buy/make list would be great too. I’ve had a few projects now that require a long list of things to buy and pieces to make and the 25 allowance isn’t enough occasionally.
Over all I do recommend Cosplanner to my friends constantly and it’s been a great organizer on top of my paper planner to keep me mentally on task for whatever project it is I’m working on at the time.

I love Cosplanner so much! It's so useful especially for someone as disorganized as me. I like the current options but there are some things that could make it way better. My first suggestion is to be able to sort each cosplay into your own folders. This would make it easier to find specific cosplays for different fandoms and you could keep your high priority cosplays, your low priority cosplays, and your complete cosplays together. My second suggestion is to be able to pin certain cosplays to the top of the list. If you were able to pin cosplays you would be able to access your current, or in progress, cosplays faster. Overall a great app but these improvements would make it even better!!

Cosplanner overall is phenomenal for any cosplayer but some things that would make Cosplanner incredibly fluid and even better would be to have cropping/ editing pictures inside the reference picture function so when you dump in a bunch of photos you can edit them in Cosplanner . Speaking of pictures that brings me to the next topic, photo dumping, please let me do it or at least make the maximum number of pictures be higher than 5 maybe raise it to 15 or 20? It would save a lot of effort on the cosplayer part. Finally I would really recommend changing the layout for escaping a picture when you click on a reference picture. Make the upload/send to other people button down in the right hand corner while putting a “go back” arrow in the upper left hand corner similar to how other apps have formatted their apps to be more fluid in navigation as I cannot tell you how many times I’ve gone to go back and hit the upload bar...I’ve done it too many times. Overall Cosplanner is great but like all things it can be improved!

It’s a great app and I like how you can add reference pictures to the notes so they are right in front of you, but I would love if we could have sub-checklists within the checklists so we can track the multiple steps involved within each item (ex: crafting armor involves making a pattern, tracing/cutting foam, possible thermoplastic, sanding, priming, painting, accents, sealing, etc). It would also be great if instead of strictly buy or strictly make, there’s an comparison option for those who can’t decide if buying an item is more worth it than making or visa versa.

I love Cosplanner, ive been using it since I first started cosplaying in 2018. But theres a few bugs and things that just complicate Cosplanner . I can’t log into my account because every time I try, Cosplanner crashes. I’ve tried deleting and redownloading, using wifi, and using cellular. I’m certain this is a bug that needs to be fixed. But the documentation part of Cosplanner is pretty simple and I like it. :-)

Overall, I really enjoy Cosplanner! It’s an easy and simple way of organizing and planning your cosplays. I love how you’re able to set dead lines, plan tasks, and even keep some reference and progress photos in Cosplanner itself.

I do have one suggestion though! Maybe add a feature where you can keep certain parts of you cosplay in a folder. If you’re making a very detailed prop or piece, you might want to keep each thing you need for it separate, so that it doesn’t get mixed up with the rest of the cosplay parts.

Only one more thing, I have experienced a little bit of crashing when I try to put some reference photos in, but that’s just a small gripe!

Thank you so so soooo much for making Cosplanner! As a beginner in cosplaying, it really help keep track of things in a timely manner!

Cosplanner is killer!! It's so useful and in-depth. One thing I would like to see is an inclusion of the cost mechanism under the "To Make" elements. If I'm making a piece of armor I still need to account for the cost of the materials, such as thermoplastic or foam. If I'm making a cloak I still need to see the cost of the fabric. I'd like to do that without having to make several separate element items that are all for the same piece. Overall absolutely invaluable. I love seeing the improvements and you guys are working hard! Look forward to rating 5 stars!

I heard about Cosplanner from a friend and I just recently started to really get into trying to cosplay so I thought why not get it. It helps me keep track of what I need and the progress I’m making but when I try to put in reference pictures it’ll restart Cosplanner . Also the only way I was able to put in the first couple reference pictures I had to put it as the profile of that character. If that could be fixed it would be great! All in all it’s a great app the reference picture is just messing me up a little.

I absolutely love how organized Cosplanner is, it’s easy to get off track with what you’re doing when you are working on something, and you can keep track of what you have finished and what you have yet to sew or craft. Not only that but it has the little built in budgeting type option so you don’t spend more than you plan to

I added Cosplanner because it was recommended to me by a friend, and it was totally worth it! It has multiple, varied, options, so you know how much of the cosplay you need left to work on. It also keeps track of everything you need to do, and it lets you pick reference photos as well! I’d definitely get it if I didn’t already have it.

If you want to keep track of your cosplays as well as your anime lists, this is def for you! No matter if you’re a beginner, intermediate, expert, or just got this for one cosplay it works so well. There’s a lot you can use this for. You can list characters and their shows, and what you need to purchase, and even make. And you can change your process on that special prop you’re creating. There a special note box, that I personally use to insert links so I can quickly get to the item and show others. I can write down cons and remind myself when they happen, and even add reference pictures! And it isn’t hard to use, just look and you’ll find everything you need!

Only one thing I wish is that it came in a dark mode, but that’s only my real complaint.

Great! Helpful for tracking how much you spend on a cosplay, and also good for tracking what you need to buy and/or make for your cosplay! I saw a cosplayer show Cosplanner on TikTok, so I right away installed it to see if it would work good since I’m currently working on starting cosplay, and it was amazing! Definitely recommend Cosplanner if you want to organize your cosplans!👍

I found this gem while reading through a cosplay budget article, and immediately downloaded it. Well, am I ever glad I did! The whole app is easy to navigate and super helpful. It really motivates me to get my cosplay done! (I’m doing a ‘neko-girl’ cosplay for an anime convention). I would definitely suggest Cosplanner! If you want to get the full version, which is just removing the tiny ad banner and expanding space (there’s plenty as it is!) and only about $3.00 for both of those!

Cosplanner is amazing. I’m so glad it exists. It makes it super easy to keep track of all your cosplays. You can add almost any detail to cosplay pages and sort by all of them. Some people have complained of the limits being too low, but since I buy most of my cosplays I haven’t had to worry about them. I especially like how you can add events you plan to wear cosplays to, so you can see which cosplays you’ve worn most of least. I don’t really have any complaints actually. Super useful, would definitely recommend!!

I heared about Cosplanner through a cosplay group and immediately LOVED it. Unfortunately then my phone broke and all my planning was lost. A little over a year ago i decided to give Cosplanner a try again after attempting planning on paper and planning in notes, nothing was as good. Here i am again and i am so happy with the updates. Now when i change phones it SAVES my plans and you can EXPORT to the computer. Probably one of the most useful items on my phone (next to texting and the actual internet)

I’m an avid cosplayer. I run a local college club, with over 15 cosplayers at any given time. This has helped me keep track of their progress, teach them how to break down an outfit, and understand the character, without weekly lessons! And now we are able to concentrate with ease in mind everything is right on our phones. With the budget tracker it’s simple to know what to get, and for what price. We can schedule when to meet up to work, and even the event itself! This is the best app for organization I think I’ve ever used. This is even better then my schools app!!

I heard about Cosplanner in a cosplay Facebook group and immediately downloaded it. Cosplanner is so great! Really organized, and I love the budget option. It's easy to get carried away when making a cosplay, and Cosplanner lets you set a dollar amount and keep track of what you spend as you go. Not only does it let you track current cosplays, but allows you to enter in future cosplays. You can upload reference images, set up tasks, set a due date, and much more. Well made. My only suggestion is an option to create a login to save data in case of phone failure or swap.

Cosplanner is great for keeping track but you have limited amount of characters to type and limited amount of photos you can upload. This makes being able to note down everything very difficult and being unable to uploaded the photos you need is frustrating. I was hoping Cosplanner to be useful like a cosplay journal to where I could keep track of absolutely everything but it's hard to stay accurate.

Cosplanner is fantastic and absolutely worth paying $1 to add more pictures. I’m planning my next 4 cosplay in it already and have found it invaluable to helping with project planning.

Please add a way to add tutorials to maybe the references section. I’m keeping those in Pinterest for now, but it would be amazing to have everything in one place.
