Love Clarizen, but wish they could figure out how to keep AdaptiveWork open
Tried to first access our Clarizen site via a browser, the page renders horribly on a mobile device so forget that. Then I thought, “May be there is an app?!?” and sure enough there is but once I got logged in it just renders a webpage that is, again, completely useless.
This is not enterprise ready at all.
I use the desktop version every day, but the mobile app doesn’t sync. Totally pointless unless it can integrate API.
Used AdaptiveWork for years now crashes on log in and there is ZERO way to get a word to anyone for support so here we are!
AdaptiveWork isn’t working for me 🤷🏻♀️. I login and it stays in loading status.
AdaptiveWork doesn’t support 2 form authentication.
The webapp works with federated SSO AdaptiveWork doesn't.
The mobile app can't be taken seriously until it stores SSO login tokens. Otherwise a user has to log in every time he/she opens AdaptiveWork , which is a non-starter. Clarizen claims this is intentionally designed as a security feature, but other Enterprise apps such as Gmail, Saleforce 1, and Box all store the login tokens and offer a PIN or Touch ID as an optional security later.
Works ok to quickly view projects in meetings for reference, but support for iPhone XS Max's screen would be nice. Plenty of UI bugs need squashed.
It used to be a great app but every time I try and do anything now it crashes. I’ve tried to reload and adjust mobile profile but still crashing.
Please Fix ASAP as this is an extremely important piece of deployment in our business.
The Clarizen mobile app is a good companion to the web-based PPM. While you wouldn't be able to fully manage a project or make major changes using AdaptiveWork , it provides relatively quick access to essential information and communications. It is great for communicating with your project team while on the go and quick reviews of project details.
The Clarizen app has improved a lot from earlier versions. I don't use it as my main interface but when I am away from my laptop it is a great tool. The organization has been streamlined so it is easy to get needed information quickly.
The new Clarizen app is a million times better than the previous. With this new version, you can get the basics done, as well as some intermediate tasks. Lower level users can use the mobile app effectively as well. Overall, a huge improvement especially if you’re mobile a lot.
I've been using the Clarizen App for 4 months now. I enjoy the ability to make changes and updates on the fly without logging into a computer or laptop.
Although sometimes the navigation freezes up sometimes(not sure if it's AdaptiveWork , my phone or data connection), it is still better than any other project management software/app.
This makes certain tasks like time entry on the go much easier for our team. It’s a nice option to have some of the customer actions we have on the org level be easily accessible for things like non-billable time entry.
There are a few design ideas that could use some help though. For instance, when you go to the social module it defaults to your news feed. When you want to click into a different discussion group there is a down arrow which brings up a list of groups. When you go into All Company though, the down arrow is replaced with an "i" icon indication more information of that group and to navigate back to the list, you need to tap the group name. It’s small but details like that can be a bit confusing.
Excited to see more enhancements.

The Clarizen app provides key functions of the browser version right on your phone. Tasks, projects, discussions, time sheets can all be easily managed with AdaptiveWork . Has a very modern feel and is a pleasure to use.
The ability to manage ALL facets of your project from your mobile handset is a blessing. In the connected economy, and running multi national projects that cross time-zones, my project teams are collaborating in ways that was not possible before.
AdaptiveWork is an elegant solution that allows you to use your Clarizen instance, customizations and all, while on the go. It's UI is really nice, it's quick, and it's customizable. You can even create separate mobile profiles to really dial in the customization. Love it!
Clarizen has imporved their app to include additional functionality in a sleek well thought out design. If you are using Clarizen in your organization then you need AdaptiveWork. I find I am using AdaptiveWork more and more each day as the ease of use for even more complex tasks is outstanding.
