Deserves zero stars

This has been the most frustrating process. This is the first time I have ever written a review for an app. I am so upset and angry that I’m writing one for this application. I followed instructions and recorded my videos using MontageOnDemand on my iPhone. The shows that I have completed 89% of the pre screening however all the questions have been answered and have a check mark. The only thing I’m unable to look at is the Dashboard. It just reads and reads but never loads so I don’t know what else I’m missing. So I signed in using my credentials to the website on a standard desktop and to my surprise none of my videos have been transferred and what appears to be the 11% incomplete portion is that a resume had not been uploaded (this information was not visible in MontageOnDemand ). So I call support and I’m told that the information on MontageOnDemand is not transferred when I login using a desktop bc the information on the iPhone is locally stored so I was told to complete the screening all over again on the laptop. That was the help I received. I am extremely frustrated since I spent alllllll workday trying to figure out to then be told I have to do it over again. I will share my experience with the recruiter and recommend that the company no longer uses this third party.

This is long but worth reading if you’re having issues

A message indicated that I had completed the interview “100%” and displayed a submit button. It then indicated there was an error and that I should resubmit. I did. Again “error” It then brought me to the welcome page and all of my responses were gone. 2 hours out the window. After logging out and then back in, I found all of my responses were there 95% complete. I scrolled through my responses and it seems one question was unanswered. I answered the question. A message indicated that I had completed the interview “100%” and displayed a submit button. And again “error” This happened twice. The questions did not appear until I logged out and then back in. It wasn’t until I answered the 2 mystery questions that I was able to successfully submit. MontageOnDemand blurs the camera as well.

Poor Quality

Was ready to record my video, but the quality was blurry. I wiped my camera and it didn’t go away. Couldn’t understand why it didn’t work because I’ve used the same device for HireVue countless times, for both video interviews and a face to face interview and it all worked fine. Came to check out reviews and I guess I’m not the only one with the issue. I emailed their support but all I got was the usual run around, a list of common sense things you should do before contacting support. Either way, there was no help from support because everything came back to my end being the problem. Now I’m stuck in a time crunch, of sending the employer a blurry video or losing out on a job.

Very poor quality for recording vdo interview for a major airline!

I’m very disappointed it’s such a bad quality of MontageOnDemand, it was so blur and no option where you can practice your answers as the company preview that you can practice as much as you want until you’re ready and click start to begin of a real questions and answers. I have been through this vdo interview last year with this same airline but using a different app for doing my vdo interview which was way better qualities and function to complete my vdo interview.

MontageOnDemand is unprofessional and the method itself isn’t matched what the company preview have shown at the beginning.

It was fine.

I’m seeing a lot of really negative reviews on here, but I didn’t seem to have any problem with MontageOnDemand. Everything worked just fine. Video quality was pretty bad, but I didn’t run into the snags that I’ve been reading about. Overall it worked just fine.

Zero Stars!!!!

Wow I just spent 35 minutes uploading a video interview (which is ridiculous btw, why can’t we just do face to face comon!) and I goto click submit and an error occurs on upload. Now the dumb dashboard say canceled on the application and I can’t undo it and might miss out on a job. Thanks guys and no tech support at all from these ppl. Terrible way and app to do interviews. Oh and all the first reviews written are from people who made MontageOnDemand you can tell easy!!! Haha what a joke this is!!!!

Quick

I was able to use this quickly. The only thing I would criticize is that I wasn’t sure if the camera worked like a IPhone camera (where you push to record) or a Snapchat camera (where you hold to record)

Turn the ringer on

I haven’t really used this much yet, but for those saying they couldn’t hear anything, turn your phone off silent. It’s not like Facebook where the videos have sound even if your phone is silenced.

Poor user experience

This is a really-really poorly designed app, for such important task as defining the next career step in a professional interview process, you would expect much more. Contrary to what the developer promotes, it provides extremely limited user instructions and functionality. Even worse, it doesn’t allow for interview practice. Overall it’s extremely disappointing.

Fuzzy screen, does not orient properly

This was a terrible way for me to do an interview. Poorly laid out, very fuzzy screen. After an hour of attempting to answer and record, I got to a 100% complete. I attempted to upload, which it then deleted. It wanted me to re-record the ENTIRE interview. Sorry not sorry, this was a waste of time. I’m emailing the HR group that I’m not going to attempt using this again.

Lost recordings and poor video

Your video will be burry. I lost a recorded session and was advised to retake all my videos once more. I’m currently using my desktop and also running into Adobe and internet browser issues. Great idea, horrible user app. Makes me wonder about the company I’m interviewing for if they haven’t done the diligence to vet this technology.

ZERO STARS!!!!!

The worst app ever! Couldn’t answer any of the questions for my interview because the questions were not appearing on MontageOnDemand ! Now I may not even be considered for this position because MontageOnDemand absolutely will not show me the questions! Wells Fargo should either use another app or just do face to face interviews instead of relying on such a bad app.

Disappointed

I went through the process of my interview when done submit button popped up but didn’t work. I believe MontageOnDemand cost me an opportunity for employment. Very very discouraged I would not recommend MontageOnDemand. I even contacted customer help. No one replied back

no sounds at all

Tried to download and remove it couple times because I thought the problem is in my phone, but still no sound. waiting for the customer support to respond. Hopefully will works

Terrible

Terrible did introduction and I wasn’t able to do any question it’s bypassed all the questions now I have to wait until customer service says.
This is used to advance someone professional career this is a joke

Won’t even open

MontageOnDemand keeps randomly crashing before I can even take get past the ya introduction videos! With WiFi and on cellular data. I’m on the phone with an hr representative to see if this is even a legitimate thing!

Beware!

If you are doing an interview know that the quality will be extremely poor, the video is so low res that they will not be able to see your face! Do it on your laptop instead!

Lazy, lazy, lazy

This is the ultimate in lazy employers. Everyone should boycott this type of interview. If an employer is too lazy to conduct its own interviews in person I do not want to work for them. Not to mention your video recorded interview is theirs forever that they can do whatever they want....
