Adding to watchlist is 95% unusable. After every character typed in symbol search it tries to drop down suggestions which kicks the keyboard off the screen. Have to them tap search box again which selects all text so if you try to type next letter before tapping a 2nd time to deselect text it will replace everything already typed. Completely frustrating trying to add to watchlists.

Just lowered to one star after trying to use add multiple to a watchlist. Entered 14 stock symbols which added them to the entry screen after selecting them. Clicked save and only 3 of the 14 showed up in the watchlist. App is total time waste.

The new update looks cool, but the functionality just isn’t there like the old app. With the old app, it was very easy to look up IPOs, splits, etc. for the breadth of the market. MarketBeat only allows you to do it for whatever is in your watchlist. Also there is no way edit your default watchlist, or any watchlist. MarketBeat crashes whenever I try to view any of the listed calendar events.

Overall, looks cute, but not functional AT ALL. I definitely prefer the old look myself.

MarketBeat for free is not bad for 5 stocks, but then you get a ton of spam that of course is tough to unsubscribe from and displays a never ending “how bout subscribing” to this? So net net you have wonder just how professional these folks are. I mean why all the spam and upsells I get that you’re capitalists, but being spammy makes you look like used car salesmen. You can’t say I didn’t warn you

App hasn’t been updated in over a year. If you just use MarketBeat, you will not get even a 1/3rd of the features they have on their website, which is AWESOME by the way.

Just bookmark the website and use that instead of this lame app.

MarketBeat lags horribly. I also get notifications to sign in all the time and if you forget the password and click to reset it you just get sent back to the sign in page.

I can’t seem to login however I can. Can’t reset. Try with google account.. did not work. Why you guys release the version without even bear minimum testing. Wish I can install old version.

Do not give this company your real email address. They spam you non-stop, I’ve unsubscribed from their lists multiple times even emailed a customer rep who allegedly removed me from their email list. Nope, their emails have continued for months. Garbage app and even worse company behind it.

The website has a wealth of information and a way to both navigate and build multiple watchlists with info at a glance. MarketBeat has none of that goodness. No flexibility, no information and no value to anyone
