I have tried in vain to upload files using the desktop website, and it is horrid and dysfunctional. Files upload much slower than other providers and transfers often break or present errors halfway through. I have had this service for a couple of months on a paid plan. I have a couple hundred gigabytes of data that have been waiting for months to upload to Sync. I have tried to upload to Sync using Sync’s website, desktop app, and (desperately) even mobile, and every single time it errors out. This has been done via different ISPs with speeds ranging up to 100+ MB/sec, yet everytime, upload speeds are painfully slow and the transfers error out.
I agree with a previous reviewer’s sentiment that for all the features present, Sync really is not worth the pain inflicted. I have been giving them money for a months or three now, but if I cannot upload my data, the features this service provides are just useless.

In this app, my list of files just magically disappears and the app behaves as if there are no files in my account. I have to completely close the app and run it again and MAYBE they’ll show up again. Most videos and photos have no thumbnail image in this app. There’s no preview of videos without downloading the entire file which takes an eternity because the service sends files to you so slowly that you need a shave by the time it’s over. When my subscription expires, that’ll be the end of this for me.

I was planning on purchasing a subscription but I was EXTREMELY disappointed to find out that video files cannot be viewed in the app on my phone, tablet or the website. I was looking for a good service to back up files especially the tons of videos on my phone off my child.
What is the use of this service if to see the videos u have to download them? The entire purpose of wanting to buy this was to free up space on my devices.
I can view videos in the Google drive, Dropbox and pcloud app. Why wouldn't u have this feature? Smh
