App just not working for past 2 days - no access

Cannot save recipes, recipe box has disappeared on Apple desktop. Requires log in loop to no avail

Can not access my recipe box

I have the same issue as James Salk 6 days ago: On WIndows: "I click on an email link to a recipe. The recipe comes up and I see it, but quickly changes to a screen that indicates "a small kitchen spill" I can't access any recipes." I have cleared all cookies. I have deleted the NyTimes password. Iphone & IPad are fine. The same problem with both Chrome & Edge browsers.

My New York Times recipe app seems to running much slower than it used to. Has anyone else had this problem. Joe

Is the option to search my recipe box for ‘cooked’ items no longer available? Now I have to search for things I cook over & over. Guess I’ll have to adapt & make a new folder to put favs in?😕

My recipe box works on iPhone but all contents of it have disappeared on my desktop iMac. How can I get it back on the desktop??

Always get an error message when trying to save a recipe on NYT app.

Until very recently, it was possible to mark a recipe as "cooked" and then easily find all the recipes so marked. This was invaluable in being able to easily find the recipes I make regularly. On the iOS app, it no longer appears possible to select for all the "cooked" recipes. Please fix!

The RECIPES will not save in Safari on MacBook Pro. I restarted mac, no issues. My subscription was just renewed and it shows that I have full access to NYTimes cooking. Not much use if I cannot save recipes!

The notes which I read and find very helpful are missing. Instead, a message appears saying "no notes". Please correct. Thank you.

App will not display cooking notes. No matter the recipe, it tells me ‘there are no notes yet’ also - the author’s comment at the top of the recipe will not drop down to make the entire comment readable. Hope you can fix, thank you!

All my saved recipes have disappeared from my ios app, but still exist in browser accessed version. How do I recover the, in the ios app?

I am unable to save my recipes. When I click on a recipe to save it, it does not respond. This also goes for any of the other icons in that row. None of them work when I click.

Will the New York Times Food App ever again save recipes other than from the NYT? That for me was its best feature.

All of my saved recipes have disappeared from my NYT Cooking recipe box on the Android app overnight. They're present on my computer. I checked the app status to see if there was an update available on Google Play Store but it said "This app won't work for your device" - even though it worked just fine yesterday. When I do manage to open a recipe from the NYT main page, it shows up completely blank, no photo, no instructions, nothing. What the heck is going on?

Just like all the others here, the glorious NY Times ignores our long-standing complaint that non-NYT recipes can no longer be added to my recipe box. Not that they care.

When I try to save NYT recipe to my recipe box, it says “error saving.”

I am not able to access My Recipe Box (where I have many recipes saved) on either my phone app where I get an error message saying "I have not saved any recipes" or my laptop where the bar at the top with the Recipe Box button disappears and I get a "Timed Out". unlike before, i can no longer save outside, non-NYTimes recipes to the NYT Cooking app.

For the past two weeks, the NYTimes Cooking app freezes / crashes when I try to search on my iphone version of the app. After typing a single letter into the app, it freezes. After it freezes, it can not be cleared, text cannot be deleted. One has to restart the app. Without search capabilities, the app is useless as a service. Please advise how to fix this app glitch.

It freezes when I do a search. Cannot search so it renders the app pretty useless.

Grocery List is not functioning

The app works fine on my phone but all my saved recipes are frozen on my iPad and I haven’t been able to open them for the past few months. Very frustrating to follow a recipe with a phone. Any suggestions welcomed. Thank you John

The app keeps crashing but play store says it is not compatible with my phone. I was using it OK yesterday. I have an android. I pay $4 a month to subscribe. Please advise.

I use the NYT cooking app on my iPhone. I use it with voice over because I am visually impaired. I noticed yesterday, 8/12/22, that VoiceOver was no longer reading the recipe title once I clicked through to the recipe itself. Don’t know if the problem is with my phone or with the accessibility features on NYT Cooking. Also, can you please tell me how to get to “settings“ in the NYT Cooking app. Thank you.

When in the app if I go to the recipe box it pulls up thumbnails of the recipes I have saved but I cannot open any of them and the app stays stuck, frozen on the recipe box screen. All I can do as a workaround is remember the recipe name, close the app, reopen it to the home screen and search for my recipe. I’m using the app on an iPad. It is not a problem using the app on my iPhone.
