The way they use their gps to connect you to clients is completely useless for the provider. It does not give you the correct distance from you to the client at all. It’s usually 5-10+ miles more than what they say it is. A lot of the times it’s in areas that you have to pay more gas to get their then how much you actually get paid. Not once had i have had a look that was less than 15 miles from me. I do not recommend WeGoLook for any sort of money making purposes and doesn’t give the clients a sense of assurance that you are legit. As well as there’s no way to change your preferences inside WeGoLook or anything.

I started doing looks for this company about 9 years ago, I lived in NYC then. The fee structure for most looks was $25. The company then reduced it to $20. a few years ago, and I bit the bullet and did 5 looks for the fee of 4. Just recently they reduced lookers fees even more, to $15-$18.

I now live in Detroit, and this amount in no way covers gas, wear and tear on my car, updated smartphone and my time.

Reluctantly, I have discontinued all work for this company. They were always excellent to work with, and I regret their decision to continually reduce our fees. It’s just not worth it.

You usually make more money the longer you work for a company, not less and less. The customer service person I spoke with had an attitude of “too bad for you, bye bye”.

Well, bye bye this app. You lost an experienced, stable and skilled looker.

Do not try WeGoLook! They have a horrible support system that will give you tone deaf replies, seem uninterested in making the process easier for you, and give you an attitude as if you’re an idiot for asking a certain question. Imagine calling for confirmation because the instructions are not clear and receiving attitude?
Also for customers, look elsewhere! You cannot expect professional service from a company that does not treat contractors professionally.

In 2017 I paid for extra upgrade ($25) as a looker and also had one difficult client who not allowed me to inspect their property. That was two years ago. Since then, I saw ZERO jobs in my vicinity (30 mile radius). I’m talking about the emails and push notifications I receive. The jobs are only available over 50 miles away, which is not enough pay to drive that far, with car wear and tear and gas on my part. The support told me my account has not changed but I have trouble believing that. I used to do jobs in my area at least once a week in 2016 and prior.

Look offers arrive by email, NOT within WeGoLook . Support claims the Accept button takes it to the this app app, but it goes to their webpage. They claim that used to be true, but has been disabled.
Since Accepting a Look does not appear in WeGoLook , EVERY Look I have accepted and completed had to be manually assigned to me. This has introduced delays up to 18 hours, often telling me "Thanks but already accepted." When asked when was it accepted, it has been some interim time between my acceptance and their reply. There have been several offerings a second time that I have accepted only to be told it was already accepted just after the second offering.

WeGoLook is using people. They pay you $20 and expect you to drive to customers that are 20-40 miles away. That doesn’t even come close to coving the to and from gas or your time and wear and tare on your own vehicle, let alone the 40 minutes you will have to take pictures with your own phone and upload to WeGoLook. And……. 🤏don’t even get me started on the provide as much information in the notes as you possibly can. Every little detail. Save your time and money because you will burn way more than they will ever pay you. This is what insurance adjusters get paid for!!! 👎👎👎👎

I signed up for this app about 2 months ago. WeGoLook does not notify you when a new Look is available in my area. This has caused me to miss 7 looks which would have amounted to $150. So WeGoLook is worthless in its current state. I have to really on the email notifications and by the time I click accept then log into to complete the acceptance I get the, “Sorry, this Look has already been accepted by another Looker.” So obviously that process delays my attempt to accept the Look and is causing me to lose out on the Look and making money. What looked like a promising way to earn extra money is turning out to be a waste of time.

I worked with this app for almost 2 years now and I remember when each look such as a car inspection was $20 that I would get paid at least a week afterwards(Lookers such as myself get paid the following week on Fridays for looks completely the previous week for the most part). Even then I thought I should be getting more especially if I have to drive for miles to get to the site and I know that auto inspectors that do the same thing that lookers do get at least $50 for each auto inspection. A couple months ago, this app decreased the amount they will pay a looker from $20 to $18!! That’s when I decided not to do anymore looks unless it’s very close to where I live at and I actually rejected looks that this app asked me to do by email and text such as a $19 look that was 30 miles from me. this app needs to realize that people like me aren’t willing to work for little money and this app needs to come up off that big money they are making that they are using to expand into other countries and start paying lookers good money to do looks for them.

Pay for jobs sometimes does not pay for the fuel used to get there and back. I believe when the company was purchased some time ago they made a decision to reduce the pay for Looks that really was a bad business decision. The pay dropped by 3-5 dollars per Look while costs for fuel continued to rise. Currently it is common to barley break even on performing a Look to making $5-$10 profit before taxes. Ultimately the business transformed many dedicated Lookers into very disappointed ones who make less than a part time UBER driver. Too bad because the original company model was really good. Maybe the company cannot afford the old pay structure but maybe it’s just an example of what happens when Uncle Scrooge buys a good company and ruins it.

I am unable to access WeGoLook on my phone, despite contacting support and IT. I have deleted WeGoLook , reinstalled it, (which is the only advice I’ve gotten to correct the problem). I only recently discovered WeGoLook was still available on my IPad. It is difficult to submitting jobs until I am at one with wifi

I’ve been using this app for several years, and it’s a great way to make extra money. WeGoLook has been really glitchy for me for a while now, and I thought it was because my phone was old, but I just got a brand new phone and WeGoLook still doesn’t work right. It freezes after every few photos and sometimes crashes. It makes a simple inspection take a lot longer than it should.

There is no way to see past looks or payment history. This was a real pain at tax time as I had to search through emails to get this information. No excuse for not making this available, WeGoLook has been out for some time and we are forced to use it. At least give us the basic information for work performed. App is buggy and sometimes does not update the camera view when you go back to retake a photo. Other than these issues it is not bad.

Tried WeGoLook because I like the idea of making extra cash in between $20 here $20 there on your own time. The financial reward is not worth the hassle or the expenses getting to the places WeGoLook wants you to go, i.e, gas, toll costs, etc. I have run into a lot of problems with it mainly with the clients. The clients often do not provide specific instructions or information. It is often vague or incorrect. I have been sent to wrong addresses, given wrong lockbox codes, and have been sent to take photos of intersections that don’t exist or to take photos in unsafe areas where there is no where to pull over like highway exit ramps. None of this is worth $20 or less. Ultimately I’ve wasted more money on burning gas and having to pay tolls that I’ve made with WeGoLook . Taking photos with WeGoLook is inconvenient and time consuming. Support has been helpful though and they’re always available.

Overall as time has gone on WeGoLook has improved as far as less crashing and it “getting stuck” on a certain page which then leads you to having to shut down WeGoLook and restart it. However, the mapping system is something to be desired. I just wish the distance information in the notifications were correct more often then not.

I’d give 5 stars if I was able to accept jobs and submit my completed work when I’m not connected to WiFi. Otherwise it’s a great work app especially since I can make money on vacation in another state should I choose to.

I get a kick out of going around and getting photos of different things. The pay could be better but I try to schedule 2-3 looks together or do one when I’m going that way anyway. I would like more info on the Looks before accepting them to see if it is worthwhile or safe enough. I’ve been a Looker for 2+ years and have seen some weird stuff. LOL. Glad to be a part of this company since early on and hope to help make it more successful.

I am retired and have plenty of time on my hands. Have only been doing this for a week and am so satisfied at this point so far for making a small subelement to my income. Have earned almost a hundred dollars this first week and it has only cost me about $5 in gas. As long as those prices stay low, I am good to go. App has some glitches but so does life. Great way to make a few extra bucks without doing much work. I so agree with some of the other reviews, if the price goes down anymore I will just quit doing them. No skin off my back.

I’ve been with this app look for close to 2yrs now and this has been a good opportunity for me to make a little change to keep me going in between pay periods for gas or a few things from the grocery store or even a small bill. It’s not enough to live off per say however it has helped to get me through. Support is always available when I need them via email text or phone call. The pay has decreased for whatever reason but like I said, it just some change to get through and something positive to do ON THE SIDE.

I’ve been using We Go Look for about 2 years now. I’m never disappointed. WeGoLook works great. If you have any issues, just report it and it fixed right away. The assignments are well described and easy to follow. If you run into an issue, it’s likely coordinating with the client. They’re schedule sometimes holds you up from completing an assignment. Even if that’s the case, just call The We Go Look support line and they help you right away. I’ve made a nice sum of cash doing this and the options to get your payment are easy. You can choose PayPal, Direct Deposit or even request a check. WeGoLook has been a blessing.

WeGoLook is user friendly and gives you examples of what the pictures should look like for those that are new to Looking. I do think there should be an option to stop the preview pictures once you reach a certain level or become a ProLooker.
