After the update, I guess players can immediately get banned now if anyone reports them regardless if they broke the rules or not. One of the rules is not to be annoying? So if someone finds you annoying, the game will ban you. After years of playing this game I'm finally deleting it. It was fun prior to the update but now I keep getting banned for no reason. If you download this game, expect to be banned. I have been playing for a little over 2 years and not once have I been banned until the update. The guidelines for bans are terrible and don't make any sense.
This game is filled with censorship. I got multiple threats through MafiaMystery because I voted for someone that the village didn't didn't approve of (they police). Multiple players threatened to report me for game throwing unless I followed their vote. I don't think the developers care about what is going on in the game such as cheating and racist comments- they just want money. Its sad and disgusting.

If you want to play this game, you have to play it perfectly and with no arguments (defending yourself against accusations, accusing people, etc) at all. I have been banned countless times for the littlest things that don’t deserve being banned for. The moderators are too harsh and strict on their ‘rules,’ and will ban you for things not even pertaining to them. I used to enjoy this game, but not anymore when I’m being banned every couple of weeks for things that I shouldn’t be banned for. The time of your ban is also based on how many bans you’ve had before, so when I get banned for ‘game throwing’ (when someone reports me for knowing how to play the game), I can’t play for, let’s say, 72 hours. However, if someone were to say a slur and that is their first time being banned, they’ll only be banned for an hour. The banning system should be based on the offense. Like game throwing = 1 hour. Language = 1 hour. Bullying = 24 hours. Or something of the sorts. It’s not fair to people who get banned for no reason and then can’t play constantly because the time keeps getting upped.

I only played about 20 games before deleting MafiaMystery bc of the community. My first game (I had no idea how to play) i somehow made it to the final 3 but ended up losing. I was then threatened that if I ever joined another game I would be banned. I kept playing but tried to be honest about my skill level and was greeted with a lot of rude people. When I got more confident in playing, I was able to develop some strategy depending on my role for the game. Sometimes I would like to play more silent and not chat too much during the game but this was often met as unacceptable behavior and the rudeness of people would constantly come out. The actual game in super fun but the community is incredibly toxic so I can’t say that I would recommend this game. I’m all for playing the game but there is no respect for different strategies. There is name calling, attacking people for their personal beliefs and just trolls. I don’t think AFKs ruin the game, I think people who expect you to only play their way and if you don’t turn into super nasty human beings ruin the game.

Literally couldn't get beyond the "Play one game to unlock anything else other than the Play Now button" point because there weren't enough players to fill my first lobby of 15. Couldn't choose another lobby, couldn't do anything... Massive development oversight with locking the first game, especially considering I'm very familiar with Mafia enough that I don't need tutorial games.

EDIT: Got into my first game after 15 minutes, it started but glitched so I got stuck in the pre-game lobby. Closed and re-opened, got into my first game. Finished it, did my role, but didn't win for some reason. Then the game didn't count, so it still thinks I need to "Play my First Game." I've uninstalled. Broken app, it's no surprise to me that this game hasn't many new players.

EDIT 2: Got the game to work. You have to close and reopen it often, but it does get there. The game does lack players, but you can select other lobbies when they exist. That just isn't apparent when there's only one Public Game because it puts you into it and skips the "lobby selection" entirely. Confusing, but it works. Notifications when games start help with the long waits, too. Increasing the stars to 3, hoping the game gets better with time.

The game is really fun, it doesn’t have am insane amount of ads, it has roles for everyone. Just fun altogether. The mods though, they’re not okay at all, and that’s a big part of the game since like a quarter of games are tutorials. Basically I got banned for 12 hours, I told my role at the beginning and nobody believed me, that’s one of my best strategies. And I was doing great for the most part, until the narrator said I can’t tell my role since it’s game throwing. I didn’t even throw the game, as a regular mafia, we were about to win until they literally told everybody that. They confirmed I was mafia. Then the village started voting me and asked for my role. At that point I knew I was going to lose so I just told them I was mafia. The narrator literally banned me for 12 hours because I told them my role. I was literally forced to lie about my role or I was getting banned. And that person gets payed to do tutorials. If you guys can do anything about it, the narrator was someone named “Cateye”. I play this game daily so I’ll know if anybody actually helped me. Just don’t wanna be a karen but it’s just frustrating being banned from playing your favorite game for 12 hours and having absolutely no control over it.

This game is pretty fun and I love playing this game 24/7. However there are a lot of things that could use some work. They recently put bots in the game so now the game really comes down to if the bots are on the mafia side or village side. The bots throw a lot even with solid proof to kill/vote someone else. While they do speed up game starts and help us farm they are still super annoying so they could definitely be removed. There are also a lot of pedophiles and they like to stink up the game a lot, and they always have alt accounts whenever they get banned so they come right back (maybe make it so that you have to sign up with an email so unlimited alt accounts aren’t made). It’s pretty annoying because they might have essential roles that could ruin the game for either side. There are also afks that throw the game and make it impossible for village/mafia to win (you could ban afk people). Also, game could use a few more roles to make the game more interesting. Otherwise though this game is pretty fun

I just started playing this game. I use to play the game irl at camp so when I found a game very similar I was in awe and had to get it. I was confused how to play at first but got the hang of it immediately after about two rounds. It’s a fun game and I recommend it to people who like to play among us. The only problem is getting banned. I got banned twice alr in the 24 hours that I’ve had the game for “inactivity”. And it’s not like you get banned for days only 50 mins but still. It’s annoying how frequently you get banned for nothing. That’s really the only issue I have with this game but it’s a major one that’s been brought up before yet still continues to be an issue. So pls get this fixed so I could play on a regular basis. Thanks

I’ve played this game for 4 years now, definitely had my fair share of enjoyable experiences otherwise I wouldn’t still play but a huge let down within the past year that’s diminished a lot of my interest in playing has been the busted inactivity ban system.

Anytime I play a game and I’m put in a situation it’s better I don’t vote anything, I get an inactivity ban. While I’d carry parts of the match for my team, chat every few seconds and be a very active participant about to join another game with the same people, I’ll get slapped with an inactivity ban and miss out. Takes a lot out of the experience and I’m having trouble getting back into it because of this.

Would really appreciate fixing this so that it includes looking for chat activity.

I love this game so much and play it constantly but I have to take breaks because either afk people ruin the game or annoying people who want to be there just to troll. I have found that almost every game there is a large amount of afk people and 9/10 they cost the game for a certain side. I think the game should either limited the amount of games you can be in (because a lot of people like to be in multiple games to coin farm and just be afk) at once or if you give the host the option to kick people from their games. I’ve had friends make games where certain people join where you know they are either going to be afk or just not be a proactive player. I’ve asked around and many people agree that they like the game but not the people so I think if you gave the host the option to kick people from games it will really approve the gaming experience to many of the players. Overall love this game and highly recommend to people who want a strategy game that makes you think but fair warning you have to have a lot of patience.

Mafia was one of my favorite childhood games, I played all the times at parties, with my friends, and especially with my family. When I learned MafiaMystery was on MafiaMystery Store I was like holy crap this is going to be the best team ever. When I got on the game I made an account and just started playing. I played so much and I learned so much about the new rules in the game and how it made the game even better. One thing I really don’t like about this game is that it has inappropriate language. When you’re typing in chat in the middle of a game, it blocks out the bad words but people can just fill in a letter with like a number or something and you can tell it’s a bad word. Also they don’t block out bad words in peoples names so that also makes me feel very comfortable and mad. But overall this is a really good game, I recommend it to Ages seven and up.

I love MafiaMystery, it’s great. But I feel as if the bans/reports should be checked more thoroughly as I know people who have been banned for nothing other than grudges and can’t win their appeals but there’s real bad people who bully, harass, cheat, bully, are racist/homophobic/sexist/etc... who’s bans never go through or never stick and they win their appeals and are playing again the same day. I also feel like people with godfather pro should still be able to spectate while banned even if they can’t play, but they can’t because the spectate option is in the lobby and you can’t press join to go into the lobby when you’re banned. I definitely think most bans are necessary, but they need to be looked through better and I feel as if you pay for godfather pro you should at least still be able to spectate when banned. Other than that I love the game and it’s super fun! Amazing job making this game:)

I always enjoyed playing mafia with my friends, but nowadays nobody will be on discord at the same time on the same days. But with this game I can have fun, with or without my friends. There are so many unique and fun roles in this game, and it allows you to make your own games where you select each and every role that there will be. From the sniper to the toaster, each role has a unique and special action that they can perform, (except the villager 😢), which makes the game fun every time you play it. It is free, but you can pay monthly to get the pro version to get access to special roles. The thing I like about the pro version is that even if you don’t have it, if the player who is hosting the game has pro and included the pro roles, you can still get access to playing as the special roles. Over all, it’s an amazing game and I highly recommend that you play it!!! Thx Toast luv the game 😘

First I love love this game!! ❤️ So people that made this game you should read this. I think you should make a new role that is a mail man. This is what the. Mail man would do, they visit people and find out there role then give them mail. For an example the mail man visits a person and say they find out that the person they visit is the sniper, then the mail man would give the person another bullet and if they visit the toaster they take away a piece of their toast. If the mail man visits the bullet proof he gives the bullet proof another vest. If the mail man visits a mafia and they are there he dies if they are not there noting happens if he visits the granny he dies. (When I say if the person the mail man visits s not there then nothing happens like if the mafia is visiting some one else). If the mail man visits the maid he just finds out the role. It’s fine if you don’t do this but I think it’s a really good idea thanks for reading bye! 👋

I've been playing this game for over three years. Seeing it get to this point is.. Astonishing.. Overwhelming. I would definitely recommend this game to a handful of friends. There are amazing people I can call friends, family even. What I like about this game and community is that game is constantly updating to give the players the best gameplay possible. You can tell the developers listen to your comments and views on certain ideas, then ask the community which they think would be the best to bring into the game. You can develop skills like logic and strategy. This game also helps you see things in a different perspective. Though there are a few minor set backs like trash talkers in game and your occasional game throwers. There are ways to report them and get them banned for a good amount of time. There's also a censoring for unwanted words or phrases. There are so many good things to say about MafiaMystery to list here. A better way to explain it is to download MafiaMystery for yourself. Thank you for making this game!!

this game is so cool. i deleted it once because i was new and i didn’t understand the game, but i was invited to play again. i started to meet amazing friends and became somewhat decent at the game. also, the new roles are super cool. i can’t wait for more!! i really hope that more people play so i can meet new people. i live playing with my friends in this game. one more thing, i love how even if you don’t have godfather pro you can play many games. you can watch 30 second ads to get another chance to play. also, there are no other ads besides when you need more cigars. with godfather pro, you can unlock new roles that people who don’t have godfather pro can. also you have unlimited cigars with godfather pro, and you can host pro games, so no noobs can play. moral of the story, this game is super cool and takes boredom away. i hope y’all download it and there might even be more new roles too! i can’t wait to see future mafia updates :)

These type of games are amazing IF you have a crew or party of players willing to play right. As with Among Us all these childish new generation gamers who have more fun cheating and trolling I have yet to enjoy one game of Mafia Mystery. Love the sprites and graphics but as with any of these games there needs to be a social system for those trolling gamers. If everyone votes you off due to not playing right, if you quit at the start all the time make a system for those players to constantly get matched with others around there level. If someone plays right everytime he moves up and only gets matched with players like him. If they weeded out and let the trolls play with each other and let the players who wanna play right get together it would be much more fun.

Mafia Mystery is a phenomenal game. Roles are added very frequently so it NEVER gets old. Most of the people on MafiaMystery are nice, but i have seen some homophobic, racist, sexist, islamophobic, and just rude people. There are a lot of toxic people who get mad when their teammate loses the game and they go too far and get personally attack the person who messed up. Im super glad you can report people on game, but i think there needs to be an update so game titles cannot be offensive against anyone, because ive seen some anti-semitism game titles and titles with the things mentioned above. But those are the only two things wrong with this game. The coin system is perfect, and im honestly addicted.

This game is quite fascinating to say the absolute least. It will probably take a few games to get used to, but with the great community along with the endless ability to bring out the genius in you, this game has a lot to offer. There is plenty of variety as more and more roles are created and due to the ability to create games with up to 24 different roles. This game allows you to learn many strategies to imploy in your later games to give you an edge up on any side of the town. You can learn how to work alone, with your team, or even how to manipulate the other team into helping your team. Although there is already a large array of strategies, there is lots left to be created and perfected. The strategies are so vast that you start to learn how the individual players tend to play their game.

I’d like to make a few suggestions.
First of all, I love the new roles, and the maid makes it a challenge.
Can there be more roles, especially independent ones? That would be super awesome. Like... Someone (Let’s call him Jester) will win if everyone else dies. Which would put Jester and Fool at odds or something.
Or there could be (let’s call her 50/50) who has the ability to side with the Mafia or Village. It’s up to her to decide whether or not to join which. And she can choose to change her opinion whenever (the downside is that she can’t see who Maf or village is, as that would be way too Op).
Also, it would be kind of cool if there was like an evil version of the gravedigger called the Grim Reaper. Idk how it would work out, but that would be super cool.
Also, what if there was a Traitor role which has a 50/50 chance of being village or mafia? I don’t know but that would be kind of cool. And like everyone would win if the traitor was caught (idk).
It would also be really awesome if there was like a grandpa, who is on the mafia (or village, Idk) but protects anyone whom visits him the next night. Like, say a cop visited him, and then the next night, the cop would be protected. I don’t know much but it would be super cool to see an opposite of Granny as well
If the developers see this that would be super cool!! I’m sorry it’s so long!! I love this game and would love to see more roles and more challenges!! (Just don’t make it too challenging!!)

I really enjoy this game and I’ve been playing it for the past few years (I’m mashed potato) but there are a few things that need fixing, I think bans should be more strict in some cases like for example someone could say something really horrible and get banned for a day. They can just come back on say those things again and get get banned for another day and rinse and repeat. The other thing I dislike is how easily someone could get banned, I had a game where someone got 3 right guesses on who’s maf and he got banned and I get that he could submit a repeal but mods take too long to respond, and at time they will take it back a few hours before it’s over. The fixes for this is I think either get more mods, or loosen up rules. Thanks
