If you want to play this game, you have to play it perfectly and with no arguments (defending yourself against accusations, accusing people, etc) at all. I have been banned countless times for the littlest things that don’t deserve being banned for. The moderators are too harsh and strict on their ‘rules,’ and will ban you for things not even pertaining to them. I used to enjoy this game, but not anymore when I’m being banned every couple of weeks for things that I shouldn’t be banned for. The time of your ban is also based on how many bans you’ve had before, so when I get banned for ‘game throwing’ (when someone reports me for knowing how to play the game), I can’t play for, let’s say, 72 hours. However, if someone were to say a slur and that is their first time being banned, they’ll only be banned for an hour. The banning system should be based on the offense. Like game throwing = 1 hour. Language = 1 hour. Bullying = 24 hours. Or something of the sorts. It’s not fair to people who get banned for no reason and then can’t play constantly because the time keeps getting upped.

After the update, I guess players can immediately get banned now if anyone reports them regardless if they broke the rules or not. One of the rules is not to be annoying? So if someone finds you annoying, the game will ban you. After years of playing this game I'm finally deleting it. It was fun prior to the update but now I keep getting banned for no reason. If you download this game, expect to be banned. I have been playing for a little over 2 years and not once have I been banned until the update. The guidelines for bans are terrible and don't make any sense.
This game is filled with censorship. I got multiple threats through this app because I voted for someone that the village didn't didn't approve of (they police). Multiple players threatened to report me for game throwing unless I followed their vote. I don't think the developers care about what is going on in the game such as cheating and racist comments- they just want money. Its sad and disgusting.

I only played about 20 games before deleting the app bc of the community. My first game (I had no idea how to play) i somehow made it to the final 3 but ended up losing. I was then threatened that if I ever joined another game I would be banned. I kept playing but tried to be honest about my skill level and was greeted with a lot of rude people. When I got more confident in playing, I was able to develop some strategy depending on my role for the game. Sometimes I would like to play more silent and not chat too much during the game but this was often met as unacceptable behavior and the rudeness of people would constantly come out. The actual game in super fun but the community is incredibly toxic so I can’t say that I would recommend this game. I’m all for playing the game but there is no respect for different strategies. There is name calling, attacking people for their personal beliefs and just trolls. I don’t think AFKs ruin the game, I think people who expect you to only play their way and if you don’t turn into super nasty human beings ruin the game.
