The Mystery of Haunted Hollow Reviews

The game itself is interesting with good graphics and a pretty easy interface. Each part to the maze is interconnected with clues and tools that you'll need in a different section so it all keeps you engaged and alert. The notebook is incredibly helpful so you don't have to go back through the maze each time you need a refresher on one of those past clues. What I don't like, is that you become relatively invested in the story and collect the clues and tools only to be kept out of the main mansion and therefore must be kept in suspense (though the outcome of the story is pretty predictable even without finishing it) unless you pay to continue playing. I'm not a fan of games that get you started with a storyline only to trick you into paying to conclude. I'll stick with Haiku games and their stories, graphics, and mystery without being tricked into shelling out for anything more than a teaser.

Okay I will admit that starting this game I was left a bit disappointed as it didn’t have the artistic quality, voiceovers, characters, cut scenes that many of the better Big Fish or my favorite BN-Five games did, but what it lack in those areas it made up for in puzzle solving challenges. This game does not let you skip anything and it forces you to really think things through to solve puzzle. That really made you think and not jus react.. almost a mini IQ test. All in all it as very reward. No hints, no skipping, and no hidden object crap. A true point and click game. I’m going on to play the next in the series. Well, well worth the price.

With confidence I should say that I am a professional puzzle game player. I went through the most similar famous adventure games, but it stuck in my heart. Of course, it's bad that the full version is paid, but what nowadays is free? Right, nothing. We should pay for the quality and for the work of the authors, 'cause designers did a great job! Everything's extremely realistic: every tiny draw detail, every creak and step conveys a picture. I really appreciate the labor of Midnight Adventure LLC crew and want them to continue in the same way. Hope we will see the next game as soon as possible!

From the first sight I fell in love with this mystery. I liked its photos, but didn't expected it will enthrall me so much. The story of the main character makes you step in his shoes. I want to finish the game and find the truth about his past and his family story, but didn't want it to be ended in the same time. Talking about graphics: every detail is realistic; characters are interesting. Cut a long story short, even if you are not a gamer, you'll love it. I promise)

The plot is exciting! There were many unexpected turns and different cool moments. I would have estimated at 6/5 stars if this kind of gameplay was in my taste. But I assure you that if you are fans of various sorts of puzzles, then nobody definitely can tear you away from this game.

I'm delighted this game. Also I'm so surprised by the quality and realism of graphics. When I play it, I completely feel a terrible, but an exciting atmosphere that I really like. There are many unexpected sharp moments, monsters and ghosts. It reminds me good and professionally shot horror film. Now I can't stop playing until I've finished it.
I advise to install this game those people who like to tickle their nerves and have a fun time.

Good game for good people)) If you like to play games without plot and that doesn't have the end it is not for you. Because this game is very interesting and unfortunately have an end. So if you want to spend a couple of hours with a insteresting game it's for you. But this is even good, because this game is not will be bore you. So play this game and then try another games from the developer

Great game. I purchased the hints component and enjoyed it until I hit the hint: “Insert the silver coin in the slot machine in the attic and get a green coin.” I Inserted the silver coin but got no green coin! Thereafter, that was the only hint I received at any point in the game.

I kept yelling, “I inserted the silver coin!” I eventually had to reset the game, but didn’t feel like slogging through the whole thing again. A very dissatisfying end to what otherwise was a really enjoyable game.

I have tried to play this game for a few days now, but cannot get past the front doors of the mansion, AND I paid to have the rest of the game unlocked, BUT no I still cannot get the doors open. Can you fix or refund my money. I am not happy at this time. I also started the game all over again, but still nothing. PLEASE help.

UPDATE: I guess you developers don’t answer bad reviews or problems that your customers have, so I am going to delete TheMysteryofHauntedHollow today. Sorry. And please may I get my money back. Thank you in advance.

Amazing Atmospheric Adventure. These three words can make the best description of this game. Click and point game is something new for me as genre but it is charming. You have some time to decide to rest or to make a cup of coffee but game is still dynamic. I think i will try to find something like this one later.

It is a great puzzle game. Keeps you motivated to play to the end. It doesn't get you bored. Hard to put it down once you get started. A good storyline, the amnesia strike and forgotten memories, the creepy undead, challenging ridles - altogether make a captivating adventure. The graphics give a realistic feel about the environment too.

I really like such kind of games where you can feel yourself like true detective . Game starts when you have amnesia and you must find out what happened and remember the past. Only several items and your mind will be able to crack the secret.

Very disappointed with this game. Halfway through it forced me to pay more to continue. I paid it because it made it equal price to other similar games. Then when I was almost finished it asked me to pay again in order to continue.

Just state the real price up front rather than tricking people to start, then continuing to make them pay more in the middle of the game.

Don’t get fooled into paying the original price. It’s not as cheap as it seems.

I am the true hidden-objects-game lover. This game is amazing as I do love all this creepy things like ghosts, haunted houses etc... This game is really for those who love isolated and desolate places and is not afraid of ghosts as there are plenty of them here:) TheMysteryofHauntedHollow has user friendly clear and simple interface.

Last time I was passionate about the game like that, when l've played Slander Man- one of the best game in this genre. Navigation Is clear. Once i tried I don't want to stop playing. I sent this game to a few my friends and now we are playing together

Puzzles start off easy, get a little harder but not overwhelming difficult so one doesn't wind up overly frustrated. Great graphics. Interesting story line that isn't sophomoric. I thoroughly enjoyed this one.

Really good game with nice graphic and plot. It is not hard enough but it is very interesting. And if you think that it is scary because there are ghosts and darkness, it’s not. So you can even let play it to your children. Play for fun 👍

Halloween is coming! Stories become more and more creepy and the atmosphere is full of mystery as well as this game. Nice design, quite scaring sometimes! I wish there was the same house in reality as I'd love to visit it! Everything is almost like a real.

I loved the game until it came to the part where you can’t get any further without paying $4.99 so if the price in $4.99 say so up front and I would have paid it but wait until someone is loving the game and then charge is an awful thing to do to people!

This game is really, truly great! This is my favorite mystery game to play. I love the ghosts and all the details. I’ve played it so many times that I can beat it in like 5 minutes! This is the best free mystery game that I’ve played.
