App says Error loading data. Everything is blank.

Some podcasts download before I request them to download

How can I get Overcast to display past episodes? It is only showing episodes that were published since the date I installed the app.

Hello, I have really liked the Overcast app for a few years now. But the lag between pressing commands (pause, play, etc) has become really long and frustrating. Can you offer any solutions to this? I would rather continue using the app. Thank you.

I recently re-open my Overcast app and was hoping to listen to some of the recordings, but for some reason they’re not loading my renewal comes up in April if the apps not working appointment, me renewing it, I’ve been a long time user would like to get some help please

Hi, I really like the overcast app and have been using it for years with no problems, but all of a sudden i have been getting hte error "Sorry, Overcast's sync service returned an error" and no new podcasts are showing up. If I search for a new podcast I can find it but if I try to download an episode I get that error about the sync service. Has anybody else had that problem? I would really like to try to continue using the app if at all possible

The ‘Talking Cars’ (Consumer Reports) Podcast comes in 2 flavours: MP3 and Video. I download the ‘Video’ version and Overcast outputs ‘sound’ only with no video…. Is anyone able to help? I have/own the fully paid up version of the app.

Hello, I have really liked the Overcast app for a few years now. But the lag between pressing commands (pause, play, etc) has become really long and frustrating. I used to be able to improve this by selecting "Delete All Downloads" but that doesn't seem to work anymore. 1. Would it help to delete old "Sync and Search Data" (576 MB) too? 2. If I delete and then reinstall the app, how can I restore my playlist? 3. Would you suggest any other solutions? Thank you. -Peter

I have got the same problem as Jason. Cannot open application on Apple Watch 8 it keeps loading and never be opened

Overcast installed few days ago. All seems ok except that all podcasts are paying audio only. The same podcasts play in video on other podcast apps. Example Tagesschau or heute. Do you have suggestion to resolve the issue? Helmut

Strongly disappointed (moved to Overcast back then because the podcast app from apple was behaving bonkers and apple didn't care): - app crashes almost constantly, - app download again episodes that I deleted (doesn't matter if I listened to those or not), - app doesen't respond or only after a delay, - I start listening to an episode than suddenly the app stop with no reason, - App start checking if new episodes are available for download on its own and therefore interrupt the listening of the current episode (even if both are from different podcasts), Overcast is "behaving" now almost identical to the podcast app from apple which everyone I know "hate and despise" because of it. Think if this goes further, I will have to look for alternatives which would make me sad because I liked this App very much (free, user friendly, reliable back then). Strangely, those problems only started since a few weeks (1-2 max): bad update on the developper's side maybe? If yes, please please fix it.

Recently the overcast app is crashing on my Apple Watch, I am no longer able to open it. As soon as I select it the animation glitches and the app can never be opened

This happens constantly … out of nowhere I go to play a podcast and nothing happens when I press play and no matter what I do it will not play!!!!!! MADDENING!!!!!

I receive a message "feed unavailable" when trying to download using the podcast link page/

The issue is with a few podcasts that have that little cloud sign next to the date of that podcast episode and so, won't play. Doesn't seem able to download and I don't know why. Any ideas?
