I started using CARROT a while ago when my company was a sponsor for it and it was free. I thought it was great and recommended to everyone. Now that my company no longer participates I am paying the monthly fee in order to participate in the auctions but when I have won the last 3 auctions I have to contact someone to resend my gift cards. The last time I contacted them to send my gift card they didn’t respond. I have added all emails to my contacts. Always check my spam box just in case. It’s not worth it and you definitely pay more into this than what you get back. If your employer is not participating, save your money.

I wasn’t receiving the verification emails, so I contacted customer support. I got a really quick reply asking for my account # and app version. I replied right away, but it’s now a week later, and still no further reply. I even contacted them again with a new ticket a few days ago, and again no reply. CARROT doesn’t even work unless you have premium. I’m deleting CARROT right away. This seems very shady.

I had won and auction for a $5.00 Macy’s giftcard however I never got it. It is so frustrating because I had earned 50 goal points and spent 45 of them at the auction, only to receive no giftcard. Not only this but it is really slow and has some glitches. I used to love CARROT but now I absolutely HATE it and would give it 0 stars if I could. It is terrible and does nothing that it says it will do in the description. It will not allow me to sign up for the Healthy livonia, 100 day survivor, or any of the other options. I would not recommend, unless your someone that loves terrible apps, DO NOT get it.

CARROT use to be good for the occasional auction reward but they stopped sending auction wins about 6 months ago. Repeated help tickets have gone unanswered and I’m wondering if it is even active anymore. Too bad since it was a fun and modest passive earner that seemed to have a personality without gouging you for ads, extra steps and other junk that most of the step counting earning apps use. Very disappointed since about last August or so. Getting ready to delete it.

Support is nonexistent. Any time there is a daylight saving time change, CARROT resets all of my history. I have tried to get people to help with this and they tell me it’s a setting on my phone. It’s not. It happens twice a year. Now my counts starts all over and I have hit my goal for over 75 days with no credit within CARROT . The goal points are pointless and need to do something better with being able to redeem them. The green tokens are nice to use on gift cards when CARROT holds your streaks long enough to redeem them. Has the potential to be a great app but needs work and please fix the time change issue!!!!

Updated: I deleted CARROT . I am not going to recruit people who will also have to wait 4-+ years to get the cheapest reward. If they had smaller, more attainable reward then it might be with the space on my phone. I like the idea of this. But I just did the math and with it only giving 10,000/day for steps, it will take more than 4 years to get the only gift card I have any interest in getting. Unless this Survivor thing gives more rewards but that’s apparently not happening now and I can’t see any real explanation of how to join that.

The might be good for people whose companies set something up but useless for others.

Very frustrated, I used to love CARROT and win prizes. The one time I won a $5 Apple Gift Card and $5 Google Play with green coins, no rewards to my email.(even after resubscribing to premium like they said). It’s been a month now. I’ve emailed them several times with only a generic response every time. I hate putting down bad reviews. Hoping they fix what ever is broken and actually respond back to loyal customers.

There seems to be a lot of things that are advertised in the description but are missing, like the green coins that show in the preview pictures, this app versus, this app survivor. Also there are only a small handful of rewards to choose from and they would take over a year to get as they cost millions of reward points. You get one point per step, and although there is supposed to be a reward for reaching your daily goal, there isn’t.

Over a month ago I used my green coins to buy a home goods gift card. I waited the max 2 weeks for it never got it. Emailed support since there’s no other way to contact them. Didn’t hear back. Emailed them again last week and again no response! Where is my gift card!?

Every other time I’ve received my gift card within days. But not this time. Will someone ever respond to my email!?

Nice idea implemented in the worst way. Full of bugs. After linking the phone number, the user is sent back to the login page! There’s no way to move to home page unless you accidentally press Terms and Conditions link and Voila! There’s no way to sync with iPhone health app, although I think I saw this feature when I had logged in as a guest user. This is actually weird.
There many other bugs to list. I hope you fix CARROT soon. As I said the concept is great but the implementation still needs work.

I do enjoy the overall app but it’s annoying when I make my step count goal according to my Apple Health app but this app takes a while to update and I don’t receive my goal coin. I’ve reached out to customer service and when I informed them of the issue, I got no resolution. Even when I sent over screenshots of the days when it happened.

Wish there were tangible rewards for walking when you cant get your employer to join app community and participate. I work for a large company thats very health conscious but cant get them to participate in this apps rewards program. Love the features of CARROT just wish that people who cant get employer to use the program could earn more rewards for wanting to be healthy.

Developers please respond I tried to join premium and clicked join from my email but it keeps giving me a error please fix this so I can give CARROT 5 stars thanks👍

I came across CARROT thru Beaumont and have become obsessed with hitting my step goal every day. I'm losing weight, feeling better, my Dr's are happy with all of my positive changes but that's not all... Your steps can be turned into gift card!!! You can't get much better than that!
I also have to comment on the outstanding tech support I received when I had trouble after changing I-phones and having my I-watch not link up. I sent a quick message with my problem and I had a response in seconds and he broke everything down step by step ( the hooked on phonics version for me 🤣) and figured it all out.
I'm so excited to having back up and running. Thanks again for an amazing app! Keep up the great work!!

I like it. Only way to set your goal is to walk. It’s different but interesting. It’s all based on me walking or not walking. It’s not based on an arbitrary number.

I’ve only had CARROT a for a few weeks but loving it so far! My steps stopped syncing for some reason late last week but their customer support folks helped get it working again quickly. Very friendly and prompt - what all customer support teams should be aiming for.

CARROT is excellent and syncs up to my steps every day. The rewards are great and attainable. CARROT adjusts my goals daily based on my steps the day before, which is great.

I’ve read some reviews and I believe there is some confusion with another app in Canada. Response time is excellent from support and I’ve seen them improve CARROT over the past year.

For a business this is an excellent incentive program that I know increases involvement from the staff and is a cost-effective wellness program. Work with this app to implement a well designed/effective program.

I have reached out to support twice for two separate gift cards that were won at auction. One was over three weeks ago. I have only received the auto response to look at the FAQs. Coins and points have been deducted from my account and the auction tab still shows I won the cards but no email notifications what so ever

I like the layout of CARROT. I also use Sweat and Life Coin. When comparing the 3 apps, this one seems to have unattainable reward. The focus is also skewed away from Wellness when you ask to refer 20 people. Hell, if I could get 5 that would be a miracle. Fix the rewards to seem attainable. Also have more contests & variety of methods for increasing coins in which fitness/hard work is the focus.

I like this program because it helps me to track what I eat and it gives me a lot information about what I’m eating and what I need to do to get in better health.
