I use many newsfusion apps everyday and enjoy the content they provide however, there are some problems that i have mentioned in feedback multiple times an got no response. The first problem is that sources you block still give you notifications about articles from that source and when you click on it it changes to a different article. Another issue is that instead of getting a few notification over a reasonable amount of time say 30 sec to a few minutes, you get 4-10 notifications all back to back over lapping each other before you can even read the previous one. In newsfusion defense there is a bug where you try to share an article the application freezes. There are bugs with rotating content and ui layers overlapping or covering each other. I love these apps and the freedom they bring, but it fells like the devs don't care.

This is an informative sciences app. It covers many areas and frequently provides links to underlying data. However, apparently someone or multipke people, rate the information as “fluff.” Based on the references to “fluff” either is very misguided, or whomever may be leaving this comment or ranking, either does not believe in science, or simply enjoys posting disinformation. Presumably, ScienceNewsDiscoveries should have the ability either to prevent the poster (whomever is doing this) from posting, or automatically could rapidly expunge such abberant or mischievious posts. To permit these obnoxious or flagrantly anti-science posts to remain, simply encourages more of the same bogus posts. Frankly, preventing bogus references to “fluff” would greatly improve ScienceNewsDiscoveries .

Great science news source but ScienceNewsDiscoveries needs to be updated for stability. It crashes or freezes often. Doesn’t transition well from advertisements and freezes instead of returning to app functionality. The screen is not fully visible on iPhone 12 Pro so ScienceNewsDiscoveries is not optimized for latest technology. Love the information but the navigation and stability of ScienceNewsDiscoveries needs much improvement.

Videos have never displayed sound and always crash. This has been the case since I began using ScienceNewsDiscoveries years ago.

The Share function often crashes too or takes a ridiculous amount of time to share an article. I have begun copying the link and emailing it or texting it myself instead of using ScienceNewsDiscoveries because it’s hit or miss and takes longer than it should.

I liked ScienceNewsDiscoveries for years, good article selections, but it now has too many ads and is very slow to swipe to the next page or bring up a selected item. What just made me delete ScienceNewsDiscoveries was having the opening screen come up with a full page advertisement that you have to click to open or cancel... and the text for the buttons was in Arabic or something similar! That is crazy dishonest - to make it a coin flip as to whether I can get past the ad or open it up to take me somewhere. I’m done.

A lot of fake science news pervades ScienceNewsDiscoveries . that isn't really the apps fault so I can't blame it too much except it would be nice if "fluff" wasn't the only real option for designating that. Just like I wish it had reactions other than "troubling", "incredible", and "insightful". The frequent posters of fluff should certainly have some kind of discredit for their future postings.

Also ScienceNewsDiscoveries is quite censored in terms of the comment section which annoys me but I guess it restricts trolling and ad hominem to some extent.

I'm critical and there are many possible improvements but overall this is my favorite quick access to scientific articles detailed and summarized

Users have the option to customize their news feed according to the subjects they want to appear so you can simply tap into ScienceNewsDiscoveries and be greeted by stories you are more likely to be interested in. Articles can be tagged for what you thought of them, badges and points can be earned for reading, they can be saved to read later and they can also be shared with others. The interface is easy to navigate whether you are filtering the feed by topic or just going around the menu out of interest. Science News and Discoveries is well worth a download for those interested in seeing what's new in our world as well as other worlds.

My wife is afflicted with MS. I like ScienceNewsDiscoveries because I have faith in mankind. I know that if we can appeal to the Angels of our better natures, that we will progress on and on to the point that we will be thought of as Gods by the ancients, whose shoulders we stand upon. A hearty thank you from a person with limited intelligence (me) to those of you who excel in math, science, and the medical field. The one concern I do have is that we understand and keep control of machines when they become self aware. Build them very carefully with proper safeguards. I do not think we can deny they are coming because the country that fields them first and in a war winning scenario will be invincible.

The Information Age is astounding for the breadth of scientific news available to the seeker with unlimited time to ferret it all out. Sadly I'm not able to spend more than a brief few minutes each workday in the pursuit of scientific knowledge. Thankfully I discovered ScienceNewsDiscoveries: Scientific News. I can now tag articles and insights that are announced each day and then read about and research them in leisure in my down time.

It cuts down all the recent science news into little shorts with a picture and I can choose to “read more” or continue skimming the recent stories. It’ll send me a recent interesting story notification - which gets me hooked and I end up reading a lot more! This is a great app- eveeeen if you’re not a total science person, but just one curious human being! ☺️

I used to subscribe to Science News back in the 80s and 90s when the weekly magazine was delivered by US postal mail. I finally gave up on them when the post office begin delivering them a week after the new stories occurred. I was delighted to find out that Science News now offers their stories online free of charge. I hope you love it as much as I do.

I’m a retired scientist and professor. I find it hard to find the time and gain access to the breadth of articles I need to read to stay reasonably current in my areas of scientific interest. Science News is a great asset to me in that I get a good synopsis of breakthroughs and publications in a wide range of biological and environmental science. Thereafter, I can selectively read further in primary journals. I rely on Science News quite often to stay current in retirement.

I also love the fact there’s more to hear about than the liberal media slamming our president and the ridiculous political campaigns and selfish conquests and agendas of the governmental political machine. ScienceNewsDiscoveries is great! There’s so many articles about topics ranging from discoveries in physics, astronomy studies, to social dynamics and everything in between. I love the fact that there’s correct alerts, and that you can rate the reliability of the sources. There’s even a process easily accessible to users to ban a source if found to be unreliable. Accurate information is becoming harder to find, more information apps should be equip with these features.

I've wandered through articles on a discovery that likely will re-write the book on cosmology, seen pictures of the snails that provided a dye highly valued by ancient royalty, and read some hilarious tweets about scientific field work gone sideways. I enjoy browsing through science news stories on the wide array of topics available on ScienceNewsDiscoveries. I may decide to join some of the sites I can access so easily from ScienceNewsDiscoveries. This has become a big favorite of mine in less than 24 hours.

In today's society, media outlets are definitely owned by just a few corporations and that becomes 90% if the obtainable information. This at least provides accurate news in the world of science with links to the internet of the full article, helps for staying up to date on CERN and NASA projects as they become available to the public, and being able to see new leaps in the world of quantum mechanics and quantum theory in general. For any lover of science, physics, chemistry or really any of the natural sciences this is a great app to try for free!!

Although brief, the science and space news gives the gist of the news, with sources for those qualified to access them. It's access to sources that is my only beef: so many sources are open only to those who are members or allied in some way with the source. It reminds me of the parochial claims that many in the high-tech industry used in the late 1980s and early '90's.
Of course, these sites are not even close to the news one got on the published Science News. That rag was great. I really miss that; wish it was back. This, while good, does not compare.

ScienceNewsDiscoveries is full of interesting articles, and you can set it up so that it only notifies you of topics you're interested in. I have but one complaint: if it notifies me of 4 articles that I'm interested in, and I take a day or 2 to read the first one, all the others are removed from my notification list. Finding those articles in ScienceNewsDiscoveries is hit or miss. I wish they stayed on my notification list - the list of all app notifications that you get when you swipe down - until I acted on each article individually.

When you can read what is important rather than hear rumor, hearsay, and haphazard trickle down, you can make decisions based on facts, not on what someone says second, third, or fourth hand. You still make the decisions but you may have much more necessary information - and this can "Dare I Say? Change the World."
My cousin told me years ago that he reads Science News - it must have been the regular magazines. Now, I can access this on my iPad and observe what is truly important to me. Thanks go to my cousin Ron and to Bill Nye because I find it important to my knowledge and my well-being.

Aside from a few ads. ScienceNewsDiscoveries is incredibly great, keeping you up to date on the latest scientific news, stories, research and breakthroughs. The free version gives you full access to the complete stories and articles or briefings. The communication board set up between user to user is interface friendly and easy to use. The rating system is unique and kinda cute, not to mention useful. I’m truly impressed with ScienceNewsDiscoveries. I was searching for one with little ads that I didn’t have to pay for that gave me a plethora of information I’m interested in. And ScienceNewsDiscoveries in comparison to the other free science news apps is the clear winner!
