Ive been a customer for 10 years + but I do not recommend them. Especially if you are moving , they are very unorganized and the customer service over the phone aren’t professional. One customer service rep told me he had to call me back because he was at Costco . They messed up my whole account and they don’t care . Also, I currently pay $40 a month for an outdated alarm system, it’s basic and you can’t control anything from your phone . My sister pays $10 for ring alarm system and it’s all digital and she can use her phone to control the alarm system. I fully regret renewing my account . Unfortunately to break the account they charge almost $2000 . Thieves .

This is the worst system I have ever purchased. Hold you to a 3 yr contract. Service provided is NOT what they promise. I can’t even get a recording of who drives up my driveway and it was the main reason for obtains. They promise a VISA card, more lies. Sales person promises you everything you need but it’s not true. They run a hard credit check without your permission, or warning when all other companies would do a soft check. When you provide them them payment information they do not ask you if want to set up monthly payments they way. They just use your bank information without your permission or ask how you want to pay. I would NEVER recommend this company. If I could rate -0, I would.

I was on the phone with your representative while changing the password at which time he had pushing every button on the keypad. By doing so he set off the panic alarm. He had hung up on me. When the Police responded I had ADT back on the phone and wanted the password it, at time I couldn’t remember. The ADT staff was rude and wouldn’t ask me any security questions. So the Police Officer Positivity ID me and ADT would not budge. They told me I would get a new one by mail. This was so ridiculously the cop couldn’t understand it. “ I WAS SO MAD! I waited until the day and spoke with a supervisor who corrected it right away. This should have never happened. I give the supervisor 5 stars but, your staff failed!!!!! I’am still so pist!!

After being away six days from home, I return to find my ADT system not working, stating “System Failure.” I call three numbers and have been waiting over 20 and 30 minutes for a rep the last two calls. Heaven forbid your home is broken into over the weekend. The same rep answered the phone the lady two times I called. What are the odds that the SAME customer service rep would answer my call on a Sunday night? Forget getting help if your account is over 90 days old.
Also, my email is not recognized when I try to log in, but ADT debits my checking account monthly. What’s going on ADT?
Don’t use ADT! Absolutely a scam. When I was setting up my account over the phone, I informed the agent that I would only need the ADT service for one year. She told me that they would send a standard 3 year contract but not to worry about it and I could cancel at any time. Meanwhile, when I attempted to cancel I was told that there would be a $1,300 cancellation fee! There was no mention of this when I signed up. She also quoted me a price of about $28 per month while on the phone, but once the installer showed up he said it was $54 per month. I wish I had never installed ADT. Horrible customer service! Don’t trust the company to protect your home.

I have never received such poor service or by as I have in the last month. I was better off with my old system I had no problems. I cannot get service reps to repair needed items, phone calls are not returned and my system is still have an operative. I am going to write a letter to the corporate headquarters to find out why I pay my due required Billings for 30 1/2 years and I cannot get just To get need it Service in order to have a completely operative system.

My ADT is OK it take me so long get hold of customer service I’ve been without my service for several months now and I’m still paying for it when I called customer service they told me to take 48 hours for someone to come to my house but it’s been a month nobody got here yet someone supposed to be here today between 12 and four I hope they come so we can get this problem solved if not I’m going to cancel my service which I want to keep what I’m tired of paying you guys and I have no service sincerely David Dysart happy New Year’s and have a blessed day

MyADT is nice, but I didn’t give it 5 stars because when I paid my bill it doesn’t indicate anything to inform you that your payment was accepted. I paid my bill twice because I didn’t think it went through. Just indicate to the customer that.....Payment Accepted or Processing payment, then give a confirmation number like before. I received a confirmation via email after I double paid. It used to give you all of that immediately after payment in MyADT . That’s my only issue.

Additionally, ADT offers a variety of high-tech products with their monitoring service: digital control panel, cameras, video doorbells, smart locks, motion detectors, and more. However, when you look at the customer reviews left for ADT, the good is outweighed by contract and customer service issues. Customers are charged high monthly fees for ADT security services and are usually locked into a long-term contract. Also, there have been a plethora of negative customer reviews regarding ADT customer service and professional installation. At this time, we do not recommend ADT for home security because of their negative reviews and their undisclosed information. We recommend choosing a home security company that discloses pricing and package information. Check out top companies before you think about ADT BECAUSE THEY do not comply with the promises thy offer😡😡😡😡
Very happy with our new ADT security system. Great team of guys that installed the system. Took all the time and than some to explain and install system. Easy to program and easier to use. For old people it’s a piece of cake. We feel comfortable with the security it provides

We were always skeptical about having security systems,we didn’t wanna spend the extra money....but after my mother passed away, she left us her house and everything that was in it and all the property. 2 weeks after she passed away and we went back to work someone tried to break in our house! ADT called us ,sheriffs deputy was already here. All the perpetrators could do was mar the back door open and it set the alarm off. No one knew we had a system. They ran! Thank God my Aunt talked us into getting your system! We’ve been with you guys ever since! Many companies have sent us ads to get their protection but we share by y’all and brag on you guys to all our friends and family! Thank you for a job well done

Today Jacob from ADT came and updated our complete system with all new equipment. He really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We have been customers of ADT (Brinks) since 1991. It’s technician like Jacob that make us happy about our choice to stay with ADT.
This is a great program. I leave the house and put on the ADT and feel safe that no one is going to be able to break into my house. And, if they do break in ADT will automatically send the police to take care of the problem. I recommend this program and app to everyone out there!

Customer Service will lie to you! They add stuff to your bill and it’s never what they quoted to you. I wish I had never signed a contract with your company. As soon as it expires I will not be a customer of your company. The on site cameras are junk. Enjoy my money for now, and you won’t in the future.. Robert Lasley

Even though we make sure there we secure every perimeter off my property, my family and I feel secure to have an additional alarm system they have the ability to connect and inform you with any activity wherever you are. I must give KUDOS to ADT representative Lamonica Bradley. I called ADT stressed because I couldn’t login to this app account to pay my bill after issues with my iPhone. She was very pleasant and professional which is a rarity in today’s climate especially with unpleasant customers causing much of their frustration. Her concern in helping me resolve my problem was genuine and resolve it, she did. ADT, you made an excellent choice in hiring Lamonica; she’s a keeper!

Our home has been covered by ADT for many, many years, now. We feel safe with their coverage. Whenever there has been a security alert at our home, ADT has dispatched the Mesquite Police Department to our home expediently. For that, we are grateful. ADT values the urgency of time. The Officers were at our home when we arrived and did a walkthrough ahead of us to make sure the house was secure. From time-to-time, when we’ve accidentally set off a door alarm, an agent from ADT called to do a welfare check on us. We have recommended ADT to several of our family members and friends. We were one of the first few homes in our neighborhood to showcase an ADT yard sign. Soon, neighbors asked our opinion of ADT and then signed up with ADT. There are many ADT yard signs throughout our community. They outnumber other security companies. We are extremely satisfied with the services and security provided to us by ADT. We are customers for life.
MyADT is very easy to use. It’s easy to reset your password like I just did now. Before doing this password change, I’d been using MyADT all year with NO problems with logging in or with processing my payment. I’ve entered my payment method easily and saved it. It shows my payment due every month correctly so it’s easy to make my payment. The Make Payment tab is on the first screen, so it’s easy to go from there. I entered my personal information easily when I set up my account on MyADT which has been almost a year ago. Just let me say that MyADT makes taking care of your ADT business smooth. It’s definitely one of the better apps.

App shows a balance due when my account, which is billed semiannually, is current and the next bill hasn’t even been sent yet.
Also MyADT appears to become unresponsive at times especially when trying to look at billing statements and payment history

They are salient a product that they know have so many flaws. And thanks for having me to keep paying for a useless alarm system and as long as I have to pay for this I will continue giving bad reviews until this company takes care of my problem!!!

After installing MyADT , following all the instruments to the letter, and call ADT so they may send me the link which would allow my phone and their computer to communicate is NOT so easy for iPhones. I have been on the phone with ADT 2x and their horrible automated system that drives me up a wall. If you tell the system once you are a pre existing customer why does the stupid thing send you over to sales? The first person I spoke with had even less knowledge about this stuff but she kept on insisting on using the word download with me but as I asked her where did that come from? Then I was transferred over to the IT Department. I explained to him what was going on with my iPhone. He explained that the iOS system created a portal and that’s what he had to fix. This guy did it all. After the portal was gone and everything was fine tuned this guy was a genius. But the truth be told the ADT App is NOT very user friendly when it comes to being installed on the iPhone. Good Luck!!!!

Most of the other security companies allow you to Arm/Disarm your system via their free app. I expected no less from ADP who is supposed to be a leader in the field, but you’ll have to pay an additional $15 a month for that simple, standard feature.
For some reason MyADT isn’t appearing within the settings like the rest of the downloaded apps do. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Can’t adjust access settings for MyADT if it doesn’t appear at the bottom of the settings list...

I love MyADT so so much. I’m able to check my balance and check everything else. That includes people I have left in charge in event the alarm goes off. Couldn’t be more pleased delighted delighted keep up the good work up.

This company is quick to take care of you when you making a purchase!!!
But don’t answer the phone when you wants to discontinue there service for a product that’s useless.
They decided to cancel my system when i was asking a price if i need to relocate and been over 1 hour on the phone and no one is helpful and one of the agent ask me to hold on and he hung up the phone on me. Everyone working from homes and you want to build up a great relationship wow. this is ridiculous.
