Slow App with a Poorly Designed Usage Indicator Page

VirginPlusMyAccount spends a few seconds loading updates EVERY time you open it — I have never seen an app do this. It feels like a webpage wrapped in a native skin.. no big deal but hardly “nice.” The biggest problem has to be on the backend. I have two data packages (3GB and 8GB). The usage page shows both as 3GB packages and claims I’ve used 100% of my data even though I’ve actually only used 6GB of my 11GB. Seems essential that a cellular app in 2018 accurately display the usage data for my plan. It isn’t recent either, this problem has persisted across VirginPlusMyAccount and the mobile website for at least 5 years. What can you expect from a telephone company. Also, enough with this “we love you” BS. It’s disingenuous and annoying. Everybody knows you don’t give a crap about your customers any more than the other providers. We’re all stuck with your cartel economics forcing us to pay huge sums for what amounts to very low data caps. Hopefully one day mesh networks and other alternatives will provide a legitimate alternative to your oligopolistic business and humble you into actually caring about customers!

Pathetic

It’s ridiculous that I am getting charged $200+ monthly.. y’all have been 0 to no help with anything. I have been to your stores where I set up a “one time” data addition which unbeknownst to me, was actually a recurring monthly fee. Your service is pathetic. I had a phone call with one of your people, and she all but laughed at me. You should be ashamed.

Technical issues

Can’t even log into my account it has said it has technical issues for the past month. How does VirginPlusMyAccount have technical issues for a month? I’ve deleted and re downloaded VirginPlusMyAccount and it still won’t let me in.

Disgusting company.

It was a huge mistake to use the services of this company. When I moved from Canada to another country within a month I closed my account and service and paid the full amount that was in the account and deleted my account. After 2 months they charged another 72 dollars for unknown reason and filed it with the credit bureau as a delinquency. I can not pay as the account has already been deleted. Technical support does not know what to do in this case. This company will do everything to ruin your credit history and your life. Never use the services of this company.

Bad user experience, very slow, throws intermittent errors

Takes ages to load VirginPlusMyAccount . Many functionalities does not work intermittently including payments.

It seems that it shows data being used even though one uses this on WiFi. Does not load when one is using data being outside.

Slow and buggy

This is a relatively simple app. It should be much faster and less buggy.

Not happy

You kept my partner on hold for 55 mins waiting for tech support 2 days ago. He finally had to hang up. Virgin should have called him, you did not!!!!!!! Terrible customer service!!!! He has unlimited data & yet he capped out at 80 GB, that’s fraudulent. His phone is now running 1000 times slower! As for me, the text message saying my data has now ended but will renew in 6 days while your app says it’s 3 days. So which is it? Extremely frustrated. Branson is a billionaire, surely his service should be practically perfect!!!

Needs update

Old and less useful interface with not too many features that makes it to an annoying experience

Not a friendly interface. Takes long time to log on, access features of app. Almost had to go to support for help.

Service

Absolutely the worst service during the COVID crisis. No incoming or outgoing calls on my cell. A voice recording of super heroes working on it is not acceptable. Still no service since mid March.

Cell phones are essential. Thank God we have a landline. Rethinking of changing providers as a result.

Getting a false message

We been getting a message saying we have 6 devices connected. We have 3 TV which each have a fire stick but all on same account. So we have only 3 devices really. We did not get the Firestick we were told you had mailed. You did send a firestick lite by courier after two weeks. So we purchased two from Amazon so our 3 TVs would work. We are not using more than that although I think my wife had downloaded VirginPlusMyAccount for her IPad. She turns off one of TVs when she uses IPad. I don’t have app on my IPad due to its age.

App very slow from within the US during business. Results in late payment…

Great service. I love virgin mobile, never had an issue with my account, always quick service and VirginPlusMyAccount never freezes! 10:10 on my books. Bill has always been the same, apart from data overages which are my own fault! Thanks for the awesome service!

why is my bill do high?

I have a Canadian number and I am currently in the US and I have just received a bill for one month for $240. I am not using my Canadian number but I have kept the line active in case someone needs to call me from Canada. Why is my bill so high?
