Bundle News: Breaking & Local Reviews

When it worked it was decent. It often stops receiving feeds for up to 4 days for no apparent reason. unless you use custom feeds you cannot select or deny specific sources. I mention that because a lot of the source feeds under “news” are repetitive and sometimes require login. I tried to report a quality issue but some didn’t allow it without a purchase, or something like that.

It needs serious improvements. If you are looking for a useful alternative to Google news it’s not here.

Some of the links are not working properly, like yahoo news.
I already use google news, I downloaded this to see an alternative but compared to google news BundleNews is quite primitive so I highly recommend google or apple news over this.

Account creation appears to require that you have an account with Facebook, Google, or Twitter. Were it not for this complete disregard for user privacy, I would recommend BundleNews. I wpuld give five stars because they are close to providing a service that I would pay for, but they get two stars because forcing users to share their activity with one of three of the most aggregious abusers of user data is absurd.

Bundle has to update the latest version as soon as possible. BundleNews is way too more slow.!

I would give BundleNews a chance if the content logos were displayed throughout BundleNews and not just under Suggested & Popular Channels.

This is an app I want to give more stars to but can't. It has one issue and to me a time waster. I see story I like and tap on the headline. Then instead of showing the story I see to tap again to Read Full. Just give me the full story.

While we were surfing on news (scrolling down) BundleNews is being updated with new news and whole page going down and it causes a terrible experience.

It's a good start, the interface is a little clunky and BundleNews really need a landscape mode for iPad. Revision; if you restart BundleNews whilst holding your iPad in lanscape mode Bundle News will adjust itself to that position. - Initially reviewed with three stars a forth added due to landscape mode being provided. -

Since iOS doesn't have a dedicated news app like HTC and Samsung included, this is the closest that an iOS user can get to Blinkfeed and Briefing. It pulls in feeds from a ton of sources, which keeps the user with plenty to read. You simply can't go wrong with BundleNews.

The bar is set pretty high by Flipboard, however Bundle does not disappoint. Love the intuitive design, layout, news sources. In fact I’ve deleted my Flipboard upon finding this. New favorite news app! :-)

Wonderful app to stay in touch with news headlines. Especially great that you can select the news sources. AND the watch app is great! Love having quick and easy access to news headlines at any time. Def worth checking out!

forcing users to leave BundleNews should be the last thing you're doing. you want to keep users in BundleNews . that's like nr 1 rule of app developing. when the user is forced to leave BundleNews to reach the full article, 1- he loses time, 2- loses focus, 3- gets worse interface, 4- sometimes doesnt get to read the article on a mobile version of the news website.
