One benefit

The real benefit of why we are forced to use this product is because of HIPAA. Otherwise it tries to recreate what you can already do with your phone.

Making a phone call uses data through Diagnotes . It would be better to call using minutes with a masked phone number. Label the audio call as audio, most people get scared that it’s labeled video.
Pictures, video already on our phones. It would be nice to markup photos in Diagnotes .
The texts are too small, especially when the phone is mounted in a car.
There is no easy one button call back with an extension. Again our number should be masked and be a phone call.
The rooms, paging system are ok but they are solving a problem we didn’t have.
There should be a read receipt so people don’t have to respond “ok,” “got it,” “thanks” and the phone keeps notifying of a new message.

Needs some calendar help

This platform is used by our network for scheduling providers. Calendar viewing leaves much to be desired. It is difficult to follow multiple people on a given day. In the iOS version you can only look one day into the future - pretty abysmal. I’m only using Diagnotes because I’m forced to use it. Until it is updated and bolstered especially in the scheduling arena - would suggest choosing another platform even if it requires paying for it.

Fairly reliable

It’s fairly reliable, but I wish when I read the message of ‘Thanks’ on my iWatch, clicking dismiss would actually stop the alerts. The sag it’s set up it keeps alerting on my phone until I open Diagnotes . Please fix!

Notifications won’t go away

First time this has happened, but it looks like I have two unread conversations when all are completed. Active discussions have been cleared out and still I see the notification.

Does not work well with Android

Alerts don’t work well and eventually go through standards text alerts. This is then indistinguishable from personal text messages. Sometimes alerts don’t go through when automatically logged out. I was forced to get an Apple phone which works much better.

Poorly designed

Awful application. Terrible for patient care. The alerts are not loud enough. Not intuitive to use. Slow to load. Full of bugs. Does not even accurately displays who is on call. Clearly not designed with healthcare workers or patients in mind. I don’t know who thought this was a good idea
