Best app I’ve ever purchased!!

This app is much needed...and so well thought out!! Any nutrition tracker apps I’ve seen are only for macros (protein, fat, carbs, sugar, etc). But I’m not interested in those....They’re so easy to track on your own anyway. The thing I was looking for was something to show all the micronutrients like vitamins and minerals. And that’s what this app specializes in. This thing is phenomenal. It has a great selection of food when you’re trying to input food into your diary. But the things that blows me away the most is the attention to detail and the user-friendly interface. Any nutrient you are curious about, you can click on and it will bring you to a whole page of information like what it does for your body, what the signs and symptoms are of deficiency and toxicity, what foods are high in said nutrient, etc. And the whole foods like an apple or spinach even go into further detail and you can click on the “tips” tab and they tell how to select them at the store, preparation, cooking, and much more! Bravo guys!! This is truly a fabulous app!! <3

Invaluable, despite occasional bugs

I love this app it is amazing - better than my fitness pal, because it tracks more, has more functions, and it’s easier to use. If I were to wonder “How the heck did I consume so many carbs already?!” on this app I can quickly see by tapping on the carb bar and seeing a quick breakdown of just exactly which foods contained how much - invaluable. I love how I can also tap on a part of my nutrition, say vitamin E for example, and see what I can eat to get more of said nutrient. Love love love this app! It is not perfect though, some foods are uploaded incompletely and some foods uploaded by other users can also be incomplete or erroneous. And I do wish this app tracked cholesterol - the one thing it’s missing. But if I really want to, I can spend some extra time and use my fitness pal to track that. Please don’t ever take this app down!! This app is so needed and important!!

My favorite app!

Unlike other food diaries, this application counts everything: macros, vitamins, minerals, and even antioxidants. I can see where the gaps in my nutrition is on a daily basis, adjust and edit caloric needs based on percentage of macros, edit nutrition goals (I.e. adjusting daily vitamin intake), put in recipes to track nutrition, and enter in my own ingredients. Healthful recipes and their nutrition content are already available to search, along with links to sites with those recipes. An update that I would like to see is the nutrition tracking of specific types of fat that are being consumed. Currently, the app will differentiate between intake of linoleic or alpha linoleic fatty acids, but it does not differentiate between intake of saturated, monounsaturated, or polyunsaturated fats. Otherwise, I am very happy with this app and have used it in conjunction with calorie restriction to make sure that I am getting my nutrition too!
