daysyView Reviews

daysyView is essentially unusable and ruins all of the positives about the Daysy itself. About 90% of the times I try to open it I cannot - the loading screen will pop up and stay there. We’re talking minutes on end of staring at the loading screen without the actual app itself opening. Sometimes it does open but is frozen (can’t click anything) and immediately crashes. If daysyView actually does open and let me sync, it’s a miracle. I contacted customer support and their advice was to make sure my app was updated - it is. daysyView is not overly complex - it doesn’t seem to me that it should be so difficult to ensure it has basic functionality. Quite annoying to pay so much for a glorified thermometer and not have the company take the basic steps necessary to ensure daysyView (probably the majority selling point for a lot of users) simply opens and syncs...

I used to ONLY recommend Daysy, but ever since they changed daysyView I no longer recommend it, which is so unfortunate because the device itself is incredible but daysyView literally makes it useless. daysyView is literally useless. It does not save information when you sync, which can then screw up your data for the holy month. When I tried to record notes, sex, or period it simply won’t let me click on the items. I make sure daysyView is updated just like customer service said, but it does not matter - it still does not work. It really is so unfortunate because the device itself I love but I literally won’t recommend this product to anyone because daysyView makes it useless.

My this app has been great! I only sync every few days because I usually just look at my daysy, but I haven't had any problems like some other reviewers. Customer support has been great whenever I've had any questions. There's not many apps that give you a direct link to their support staff and then actually respond very quickly and informatively, and this team has made my transition to using daysy as easy as I had hoped for.

daysyView constantly has issues. I’m always getting error messages, having to delete daysyView and redownload it, and constantly having to email daysy customer support. daysyView needs major revision. Starting to get really over my daysy because of it.

Update: App still is horrible and rarely opens. Delete & redownload it so many times just to be able to use it once in a while - when I want to be using it every day. Due to how long daysyView has never worked and no one is happy with it (after daysy has been around for a while, and I’ve had mine for two + years) I would never recommend this to anyone.

I like using my daysy, it tells me when I am fertile and not. That being said, here are some things that would make daysyView so much better.

1) WHY CAN YOU ONLY EDIT MENSTRUATION DATA FOR THREE DAYS?
I typically start my period after I take my measurement in the morning, and I don’t think to go tell daysy that I started my period. So then when my period is over, I go to make sure it was recorded correctly, and I have the wrong start date. So my cycle day is off for the whole month because I missed the three day editing cut off.

2) It only tells you if you’re fertile or not, even though it collects more information. I know that it knows when my luteal phase is, because it tells me the length of my luteal phase. However, it does not tell me when my luteal phase is happening, or when it has happened or will happen next.

I’ve used Daysy for about five years now. Love the duality that it offers. You can simply go by the lights or get more insight with daysyView . I have never had syncing issues with the Daysy 2.0 (syncs via Bluetooth). I have an iPhone XR and usually sync every couple days. Used to have Daysy 1.0 and LOVE the ability to sync via Bluetooth with 2.0 now. Daysy/daysyView have helped me learn so much about my cycle! Highly recommend!!😍

I recently purchased the Daysy 2.0 as a natural birth control method. While I like my Daysy, daysyView is TERRIBLE. It rarely ever opens, will shut off in the middle of viewing stats, and has just all around been extremely frustrating. To the people at Daysy, PLEASE fix these issues. Your customers spend around $300 for a device that claims to provide detailed and important data that is viewable via the this app app. Had I known trying to view this information would be so problematic, I would have never purchased the Daysy to begin with. Again, I really like my Daysy device, but daysyView needs major attention.

After reading all the negative reviews I was a little worried about purchasing the product but did so anyways. So far haven’t had any of the syncing problems mentioned. My iOS is up to date and so far no problems. Fingers crossed. So far it’s been a good experience.

Love my Daysy device, but daysyView is a mess. Today’s update has me sitting here trying to sync for an hour. Why? It tells me my Daysy isn’t connected, when it is, or that my volume is too low, when it’s maxed out with the ringer ON and the microphone permission granted. I’ve been successfully syncing for a handful of years now, on a couple of different phones, and most of my problems have occurred most recently. I’ve watched daysyView become increasingly less user friendly, and more buggy with every update. This is beyond frustrating.

I’m not quite sure why they messed with a good thing, but this new app is a horrendous step in the wrong direction. I frequently spend 20+ minutes just trying to sync my Daysy to daysyView , only to give up in frustration. It’s buggy and not at all user friendly. Not sure if this is an attempt to get everyone to buy the new Bluetooth version or just a desire to lose customers, but I’m at the end of my rope.

Ps - not sure where all the reviews went, but there were hundreds of negative ones last I checked.

Unfortunately once you write a note for a specific day you do not know which days you left notes on as they do not get marked. This way the calendar kind of swallows your notes unless you click on that very specific day by guessing. I wish I had quick access to all my notes! This way Daysy App would be even more personal and a good fertility tracker.

I have been using Daysy along with daysyView for over a year. First used Daysy 1.0 with daysyView and now Daysy 2.0. Everything had synced and worked great for me. I learned some tips through a Facebook group that help me have success syncing every single day without a mishap. Love daysyView!!!

I had a rocky start with daysyView at first, but now it all works swimmingly. I love how I get to see my cycle history, stats, predictions and it doesn’t overload me with info I don’t want or need. Use it a couple of times a week to check in on where I’m at.

daysyView is awesome, once you correctly sync the Daysy, all else works very well! One tip if you get this and use it, turn on your Daysy, THEN open daysyView and let the three petals on the screen disappear, THEN double tap to connect to Bluetooth. No problems in that order!

I purchased the daysy because I thought it would save me time by not having to input all of my information into other apps. Unfortunately now I spend twice as much time trying to get the thermometer to sync to daysyView . I literally spend 20 minutes every day trying to get the information to sync. Some days it’s takes so long I literally give up. Completely defeats the purpose of buy the device.
