I can’t get the speak and translate mode to work even tho microphone is turned on.

Very frustrated..I paid the full subscription for a year in November 2022 and when I open the app, it is requiring me to sign up which I have already done. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no luck. Please advise.
