Birdie Apps: Golf GPS Reviews

It’s clear, simple, practical, efficient. All I want is play golf! No need for lessons while you play, no need to watch news, video, photo gallery, etc when I am on a course. Just play your game. We like to play ready golf and BirdieApps will not slow down your game and irritate people you are playing with and those following you. We tried top ranked apps and we keep coming back to this one. The image is clear and BirdieApps is easy to use. That is the one we are getting without any compromises. Thanks for really putting all the effort and time to dedicating BirdieApps to those who are out there to play the game of golf!

I’ve been dissatisfied with the Apps that have been available for a number of years. Battery Hogs all. I don’t care about keeping up with my friends that are playing. Keeping score for a group on an App no thanks. Getting club selection, don’t need it. All I want is an App that knows where you are and gives you an accurate distance. The fact that I don’t have to use an extra battery to keep it working for 18 and still use my phone the rest of the day is exceptional.

I used it a few times, but preferred using my Shotscope watch as it does my tracking. I will say that Birdie has probably the best service of any apps. Had an issue with subscription and Dave went above and beyond to clear the issue. Great customer service. BirdieApps is very easy to use , accurate and does have tons of courses.
And it doesn’t draw down your battery on the phone.

Very easy to set up and has many great options to choose from !!
Comparing it to my Bushnell rangefinders just as accurate !!
Battery usage on 18 holes of play (4hrs ) full charge when started 65% left when finished. WOW !!!!
I would rate BirdieApps for what it offers a 10+
The only option BirdieApps is missing which I think is critical is (Voice yardage ) !!!!!
Everyone knows it’s Very hard to visually see your Mobile device screen when you are outdoors.
A option for approach shots voice yardage inside of 250 yards when you reach your ball would put BirdieApps in elite category.
Understanding this would probably use a little more battery life but BirdieApps as is uses very little !!

Been using for over one year. Fast, personal, professional customer service. My course requests were completed within a couple days every time. BirdieApps works great. I use it every round I play and love the fact that in the settings you can tell it when to change holes and zoom into green view automatically. Best app I've purchased. Recommend to all golfers.

This is a simple, straightforward gps app that does exactly what I want it to do and looks great too! The customer service is excellent as well. I requested my two local courses be added to their system and within 2 days they had them mapped perfectly. I’m definitely a loyal customer now!

I only need it for distance to the green from where my ball lands. It is accurate. I enjoy using it. But it really uses up the battery for full 18 holes. I started my phone at 100% and by the end of the round it was down to 18%. Also, since I wear gloves on both hands, it is hard to advance to the next hole. I do not have the premium version.

BirdieApps provides far better images than satellite views for shot planning. It is easy to get your distances down in a moments time, which is much better than most apps I’ve tried and the most important feature for me. Actually helps my game and scoring, well worth the cost.

No fluff and no distractions. I get the info necessary to score better without having to go through and dismiss all sorts of prompts. This is a golfer centric tool that seamlessly gives you the info you need. Great work on the user interface!

App works easily. Doesn’t use up the battery on my phone. Most courses in my area are already available. I requested two courses be added and both were completed within a week. Very good customer service!

Really helping my game with working out my club distances. Heading to a conference & playing golf. Submitted course because it was not listed and it was on BirdieApps the next morning! Downloaded & ready to use off-line!!

Great-Simple to use app. Not much in the way of other stuff--but great very accurate yardage. I've used it on 6-7 courses now and it is very easy to use and very accurate

I’ve been using birdie apps for 2 years and I really love having it since so many courses have gone away from GPS on the carts

Waiting for my requested course to be uploaded and super excited to use BirdieApps . It looks pretty fabulous.

Had several apps but deleted them and only use BirdieApps.

Like the graphics, simple interface. GPS is slow to update, but was accurate as compared to the yardages marked on the sprinkler heads.
