I wish I could leave zero stars because VIP cars has hands down the worst insurance I have ever seen. It is a long, unnecessarily complicated process with the lack of communication and language barrier making it even more difficult and nearly impossible. The customer service is terrible, not only is their a lack of English speakers/ speakers who speak different languages, they have no training in customer service and will waste your time by running you in circles. I’m cases of emergency or an accident they are not going to help whatsoever and will instead demand you to pay for everything and say they’ll reimburse you later on. But if you’re not from the country or use a different currency they will end up reimbursing you a lesser amount with the excuse of the conversion rate. They will do their best to scam you out of your money so they have less work to do and more money in their pockets at the end of the day. I advise buying insurance when you go to pick up your vehicle.

Fraud I am utterly disappointed with this service and as a public relations specialist I intend to make it known how unprofessional Optimo Rent is. I received my confirmation and traveled to FL as planned. When I arrived at the airport and called the office for a shuttle I was told an hour and a half wait to get a shuttle from the airport. I decided to take a taxi, which I had to pay for but as I was waiting for the taxi I called the office back to let them know my plan and I was told there was no car for me for at least 2 hours. I went to the office anyway to figure something out but to my surprise the office was a hole in the wall place with absolutely no cars on the property. When I was let into the building I was told there would be no car for at least 3 hours even though I had a reservation. As I stood there on my phone trying to find another option because I would be late to arrive to my appointment that I had flown down for I was then told they would not have a car foe me at all that day. How in the world do you reserve cars you don’t have and send people confirmations. Does this place operate with 1 car to rent. Then I was asked to go outside and not stand in the building. I had to cross a highway with my bags to get to a place with internet to rent a car from somewhere else I which cost me double. I am horrified at this operation and the lack of integrity and customer service. They lie to people. I will make it my goal to make sure everyone is aware of their fraud and does not use their services.

This company is is misleading. They will say "no hidden fees" and then you are expected to pay more at the rental desk when you arrive. The epitome of a hidden fee. Their website needs a big banner that says "This is our price...but you have to pay more if you expect to drive away with the car."
