I’ve been checking in with TheCallawayBank over the last year hoping it gets up and running. It used to just not let you log in, giving some info box about not working right now, but now you get about half a second of login screen before TheCallawayBank crashes and sends you back to your phone’s home screen.
“Application error. We are having technical difficulties. Login again later” is the message I’ve received the last several days when trying to sign in. TheCallawayBank support button doesn’t even take you to app support either. It’s unfortunate I have to give any stars.
TheCallawayBank is great when it actually works. Sometimes I can access TheCallawayBank and other times I get an Application Error message that says the system was not available. I called customer service and was told to delete TheCallawayBank and reinstall it. I did that and it still won’t work. I receive this error message a lot!
After the latest update, TheCallawayBank no longer opens—I relied on this for banking and now cannot access my account info without going through the internet site and Google. What happened?
Randomly makes me change my password all the time and every time it does that it won’t let me log back in after. Just let me use my Face ID I don’t need a password
TheCallawayBank worked fine until about a month ago. Now it won’t even open and just glitches all the time.
Can’t login most the time. Also doesn’t separate my business account from my personal. I liked that being different.
It is giving me a lot of trouble either the log in screen. My thumbprint has always worked, now it is not letting me use my password.
I can’t load my account info. As usual this is a typical attempt to improve but failed.
Horrible app to and even more horrible bank… I can’t wait to switch banks ASAP.
Get a brand new app
I’ve tried several times to get TheCallawayBank to work on my iPhone 8+ without success. Today I called the bank and they said all was okay on their end, my account allowed mobile deposit and my phone was updated and new enough, to work. But I was never able to get it to work. That is; until today, sigh. This is how I got it to work: 1)turned wifi off 2) allowed access to my camera. After that, TheCallawayBank works perfectly. I gave three stars because no one at the bank had this information. It should be more friendly IMO.
After they updated their system this holds its own with a large banks app that I have an account with a family member. It does a lot. And I haven’t had any issues since the update 2 years ago. I waited to do a review waiting for an issue. Nothing ever went wrong. Even with the old app, their customer service people are very helpful. The good news I haven’t need them in a few years.
I like how the new app works. Love the added authentication process. I appreciate that security is important to my local bank. I’m still getting used to some of the recent changes, but no real issues. Everything is intuitive. Thanks TCB!
