App does not work on my Apple 14 phone

Worked fine until May 2024 sometime when there was an update and now freezes to a white screen when tapping to open. I’ve erased, downloads and installed from App Store the bank site and issue the same each time. I’m stuck and now can make deposits in my account. No tech support of app: just a black hole.

Poor Quality App

FirstUS is very poor quality and not very user-friendly. The navigation is poorly designed because most account holders are more concerned about viewing their balances than reading a mostly empty inbox. The appearance of the apps contents are also very outdated. Sadly, FUSCU is VERY ANTIQUATED in the technology department. If FUSCU wants to see how a proper user-friendly and helpful banking app is presented to customers, they should take a peek at CHASE bank’s app and take notes. Actually, they should carbon copy CHASE bank’s app and step up their tech game.

Still not goog

It was dated b4 but it worked fine. I was just forced to change password, logged in once all good went back 20 min later says pass is wrong???

Latest version is a giant step backward

Nice clean interface is gone. Extra click/tap now required to get to anything useful. More ads. Ugh!

Mobile deposit is useless

I have accounts at several different banks and credit unions. This is the only app that I ever have problems using mobile deposit. And it’s always a problem. Sometimes it decides that the number I entered doesn’t match the check amount (it’s always wrong) Sometimes it thinks it’s not endorsed (also always wrong) sometimes it can’t read the numbers on the bottom of the check. Just tried retaking the photo of the front at least 10 times, gave up. Seriously, this is enough for me to change banks. Fix FirstUS!

Ok but needs to be updated

Please add facial recognition to FirstUS. It’s been out for a couple years now and FirstUS has yet to get with the program. The new iPhones do not have fingerprint security. They have switched facial recognition. Please update. I got a new phone and now I have to manually enter my password every time.

New format

I like the new format. A lot easier for my old eyes to read. The only thing I would like to see updated is on the bill pay. I would like to be able to go in and make changes on payments I have set up instead of having to cancel them and reissue

Mostly good

I do love FirstUS but there are a couple of things that could be changed. It would be great if the fingerprint recognition worked on all of the accounts instead of just one at a time. This would be a huge change so I wouldn’t have to keep logging in manually when switching. I don’t like the new color scheme of the new update. The green is awful. Please change back to the old layout...wish I could undo the update.

Functional, though a bit frumpy.

I haven't had a problem with FirstUS so far, but its lack of visual appeal and intuitive navigation nags at me. I'd like to see more polish and a simplified interface.

Overall, can't complain. Just want a more streamlined experience.

Easy, reliable, user friendly

App is easy and intuitive. Has all the features of major banks. but these guys actually update transactions instantly unlike the lag time associated with other on line banking. Very happy with app and bank.

Awesome app

I absolutely love FirstUS. It has saved me time going into the bank. It’s so easy to use. I can do and see all active on my checking, savings, and visa account.. I can pay my bills.. no more stamps.. and I can transfer money to different accounts.. it’s absolutely a life saver..👍🏼

Very convenient

Overall happy with FirstUS . The ability to make mobile deposits with the phone's camera saves a lot of time and is very easy to do. I can always stay on top of my balances and handle most of my banking needs within FirstUS . This is a must have for any First US CCU customer.

Great app especially for a little credit union 8D

FirstUS has been getting better over the years. My only complaint is that the last two checks I tried to deposit with FirstUS have consistently failed in Mobile Deposit.

FirstUS review

This is a really good app. I would find it helpful if I could be able to use facial recognition for my iPhone X. I would also like to be able to log in once and be able to check multiple accounts without having to log out and log back in.

Great App

Love the new features: Fingerprint scan sign on, quick balance check without signing in. Facial recognition, scheduled transfers internal and external. More user control!

Love

I have never loved a bank or banking experience more than I love First US. Customer service is their number one priority. Everything they do is for the good of the customer and the people that work there are always friendly and happy to help. FirstUS itself is one of the most convenient things I've ever used and helpful on a daily basis for me.

Almost there

I love the fact that you can do eDeposit. Just wish there was a way that accounts could be flagged so larger deposits can be made. The branches should be able to override/notate accounts so customers can still use the system and not be limited to $10.0. Like place a hold or only allow certain amounts to be available within certain timeframes

First US Community CU Is Old School

The First US Community Credit Union is a “great” Credit Union but with an old out of date App.. I’m really hoping they upgrade it soon as it really lacks what most Credit Unions already have:

-Balance Notification Settings
-Temporary Card Locks
-Interactive Search Engine for checking on vendor / payee activity by name and not just $$ amounts.
-Two Factor Sign In Authentication

Theirs even more they could upgrade in addition to above all they have to do is try asking a loyal customer for over forty years..

Otherwise it’s a solid app with basic functionality it just needs some real updating.

Thanks First US Credit Union I sincerely appreciate banking with you.. and maybe for another 40-ish years I hope..

Pretty good App

Banking apps seem to have a good degree of user friendliness and functionality. Some of this is determined by what the user is trying to do and some by design. I find FirstUS to be very easy to use for all that I need it for. A feature I really like is the bank card control. I have misplaced my card several times in the last year and have used FirstUS to turn it off. I find card within a day or two and turn it back on. Bill pay is straightforward and simple. Nice job.

Request for next revision

Please include the required language for back of check on the page where we set up the mobile deposit. It’s very specific and makes a mess of the deposit if I recall incorrectly
