You all need to fix FirstCreditUnionAZ. Always having to delete and reload several times a week. Thats ridiculous!
When I first downloaded FirstCreditUnionAZ it was fair and worked, but maybe due to saving money, the IT department decided to hire a high school kid to maintain it. Who knows? As a retired IT professional I find FirstCreditUnionAZ extremely substandard. The last 3 times I tried to use it. It locked my account on the first try. Each time I had to drive to the credit union to unlock it. The 1st time I figured it was just a bug due to poor and insufficient knowledge of testing. It happens. A few months later and again it happened. Ok when you lack inexperience people you have a lot of bugs in their work , they couldn’t get to it. A few months later again. This make FirstCreditUnionAZ unusable I would not recommend using it at all. Use the website instead. For me if this is the quality of their IT department, I am thinking of switching to another institution that has professional taking care of my money and transactions.
Not an enhanced banking experience. I preferred the old format. Having each member on the account set up their own log in doesn’t make for cohesive banking from a joint account. Particularly the bill pay. Also, it seems I am not able to edit recurring payments anymore. I have monthly bills that recur each month, but with a different amount due each month that I would go in and adjust, or if I wanted to delay payment a day or two, I would edit the due date, but now I am only able to cancel the payment then re enter with a new payment, which doesn’t make for more convenient banking.
FirstCreditUnionAZ was designed so poorly. A 5 year old can come up with a better app. They should hire me to recreate their app. It’s awful. Its not easy nor convenient. FirstCreditUnionAZ will cause them to lose their customers same with their website. 100% trash. Get it together and get with the rest of the world guys.
Since they updated FirstCreditUnionAZ , it has been a ridiculous effort to login because you have to create a whole new account. Even after entering my info it won't validate or let me log in. After calling to try to fix this, I waited on hold for 45+ minutes only to be told that what I was doing was correct and still cannot log in. Nobody has been helpful in this process and I am upset I can't login to view my bank account. The old app never gave me problems. And I can't even login to the new version.
The UI feels super old, and its annoying that I have to “Register my device” literally every time I open FirstCreditUnionAZ . I’ve had to have “registered” my phone over 20 times in the past month already.
FirstCreditUnionAZ is not user friendly or functional for a banking customer. The account transaction history shows no detail as to where a purchase was made without individually clicking on the details of each purchase. The old app allowed a user to quickly scroll through a transaction history and allowed users to immediately view where the purchase was made. Now it’s a random purchase with the amount and it takes an inordinate amount of unnecessary time to click for the details on each purchase to see where it was made. So inefficient and inconvenient. The old app was far superior, intuitive and actually functional for banking users.
Frequently I have to use my computer to access my account. This would be convenient on the iphone if it didn’t keep loading forever....and ever...
I frequently used this straightforward app for the first few month. I especially enjoyed the remote deposit feature, as my closest FCU is a long drive away. However, remote deposit was recently disabled without explanation. I no longer use FirstCreditUnionAZ as a result. Please bring back remote deposit!
I am fine with the design of FirstCreditUnionAZ. However, there may be a pretty bad bug that is causing my account to be constantly locked; therefore not allowing me to even get into my account. This issue seems to be affecting the main site as well.
A few times when setting my phone down, I guess my finger grazed my iphone desktop and hit the FCU app icon, which caused FirstCreditUnionAZ to open, TOTALLY SKIPPING PAST THE LOGIN/PASSWORD page. This is very scary.
But, when I WANT to loginAlso, FirstCreditUnionAZ crashes as soon as I open it on my iphone. It takes about 5 tries, then I can enter my password and get in. Sometimes it will crash again after that, or it could crash anytime during a transaction attempt. I tried deleting and reinstalling FirstCreditUnionAZ , but that didn’t help. It’s not my phone, because all my other apps work. What is going on with their I.T. Dept?!
Also, small rant: when I transfer funds, I prefer to go to the main accounts summary page, which shows the balance of all accounts on one page. But instead it opens up the single account that received the transfer. Not sure why. FirstCreditUnionAZ /bank assumes that’s where you want to be after transferring funds.
Love the new app and the ability to do remote deposits. Needs to add budget feature to app.
FirstCreditUnionAZ is still useful, I’m sure they will make it even better in the next update. So far no problems with it.
So glad that First CU finally created a mobile app. However, it is noticeably missing a running total amount when you view the transactions for each account. It would be nice to be able to see this without going back one screen.
I like FirstCreditUnionAZ , much improved from the previous app. I make lots of transfers between accounts so I like that I can access all accounts that I am on with one login. It’s nice that you can also hide the accounts you may not want to see. I really like that I can separate my accounts into little cells it makes things really easy for me.
App works great and is easy to use. You can pay bills, do remote deposits, and transfer funds. I have been using it for several years and have had zero issues.
Good improvement on the upgrade, especially seeing all accounts now.

Very much like the new app. All accounts in one place is a huge plus. Well done First Credit Union!
The new app that was launched May 2020 has made it very easy for me to monitor my account, transfer money and pay bills! I love the option to add alerts. It’s also very convenient to be able to transfer money to my other bank accounts at other financial institutions! I’m really impressed by the options to pay people, bills and manage my payments to other subscriptions using ePay. New features also includes access to my credit report. Looking forward to more added features to FirstCreditUnionAZ !
