Sometimes the radar shows clear weather when it’s storming in the area. Not reliable.

StormTrack5 won’t reopen after initially opening it. It must be force closed in order to open it. This must be done every time. This problem began two updates ago. It seems StormTrack5 becomes more unreliable with each update.

My iPad is a year old, & it wont open. I’ve deleted it & downloaded it again many times since the first of year. I did it this afternoon & now it won’t open. It is VERY annoying!!! What can I do???

I have VPN installed on my iPhone and the weather app won’t load. Really liked StormTrack5 but am not gonna turn VPN off to check the weather, to many other apps that work.

3 days ago, when the new release updated, StormTrack5 stopped reloading. To open it, one has to first terminate the occurrence of StormTrack5 . A real pain in the neck!

StormTrack5 used to work great but hear lately will not load I’ll go back to WJHL

The worst

StormTrack5 just updated to the new version and now StormTrack5 opens and closes. Had StormTrack5 for awhile now but please check the version on it. I have an iPhone 6splus with the new IOS version.

It just doesn't work so much of the time! Sometimes I am unable to pull it up several days in a row, so I have to depend on other weather apps. However, when it does work it is detailed and informative.

With brain piercing alarms in the middle of the night for flash flood warnings ..not once.. but 3 times waking me from a much-needed sleep, I finally said "enough". I doubt many people were driving at 2, 3 and 4 in the morning but the hellish alarms were waking the entire city. We NEED ear piercing middle-of-night TORNADO ALERTS to jar us from bed but not multiple flash flood warnings. Like me, everyone I know turned StormTrack5 off. Too bad they can't engineer it better to focus it on tornadoes.

Loved the previous, this new one is just shuffled around where the map is so tiny cant get the hourly as far along as before, all they did was move things around & the previous map was large could see all around, so prob look on app store find another one that has larger map, very unhappy with this one , should have left alone, it was great the way it was

Agree with other reviewers. It’s a great app when it works, but I’ve had major problems numerous times recently where it just won’t load.

UPDATE - no longer getting stuck on the splash screen. Now my favorite weather app! Alert options very customizable, radar displays quickly, great filter / daily options on weather map.
ORIGINAL REVIEW - I love StormTrack5 when it works, but recently it has become stuck in the splash screen when I attempt to launch it.

So far I had been using the weather app that always put me 30 minuets away from where I live. Now I have to say really miss the air quality allergens and cold and flu updates .. but by far StormTrack5 puts me exactly where I am . Just waiting to see if it really alerts me in threatening weather.

StormTrack5 is unbelievable. With StormTrack5 sent from God above for his children's hands to experience day by day highlights of the CHIEF doin what he does makes me proud to be an American. News 5 is incredible, accurate, and reliable. My God in Heaven StormTrack5 makes me weak...I have to hold back a wave of emotion every time I fire the bad boy up. The anticipation of brilliantly forecasted weather for this area just makes me shout Hallelujah! Dave, Donnie, and David are 3 of the finest men God ever knitted in a mothers womb, simply amazing. I like the radar view and all of the options available. The hourly forecast is nice and I like the option to add multiple cities to my favorites. I also enjoy reading the local forecast blog.

I’ve had StormTrack5 on my old iPhone 6s+ and I could watch the weather videos with no problems but now I have the new iPhone 10 and I can’t get it to load the weather videos to watch them😔😔😔

It's a pretty useful app for keeping up with the weather and helped me out a lot with snow days last winter. It's probably not the fanciest app of its kind, but it serves it's purpose and it's free. So this is hardly a bad deal. :)
