Can’t see previous posts!?!?

Overall I love the idea. I’ve been looking for a daily photo journal/ gratitude app. Being honest, I don’t want to pay a monthly fee to add 1-2 photos and reflect on my day. Orca allows me to add up to 3 photos for a day without paying for upgrade. That is awesome!! I love that it gives me little prompts or ideas I could use if needed.
Downside, I can’t easily find or read my past entries. I’m not always great at doing it every day but really try to make sure I have something for each day. I can see my moments from the current week and even the previous week but have to pay for upgrade if I want to see further back or the previous month. That’s very disappointing to me that I can’t easily access and see my full month in a view. I have to pay for premium to see photos, memories and moments. Hard to reflect on my gratitude if I don’t want to pay. I continue to use app for now (it’s been over a year) but not sure why.
Side note - I am going through a hard time right now and would love to be able to view previous entries about my dog but unless it was on the same day a year ago I can’t find them.

Amazing concept, great prompts

A friend and I looked for an app where we could share daily wonders easily . This is a great one allowing both video, pictures and text. If you pay Orca fee, you can load more than one pic a day and see more of your past postings but there is a free version which is fine if you don’t want downloadable history. The one thing I hope the creators will improve right away is the ability to toggle back and forth between screens more easily. It gets stuck sometimes or just won’t get to the screen I’m seeking unless I refresh. It needs work on navigation but other than that, it’s a little jewel.

Amazing personal journal

The streak feature is what really gets me to write everyday. I want to be able to look back at my life and remember everything. from the minute things i do during the day along side the pictures i take. i’m in the 500s now. and i can now look back a year and see what i was doing on each specific day. Each entry max’s out at 560 with 4 photos or one video but you can do up to 10 entries per day. The calendar view is cool to look at as you fill a whole month. If you forget to write. It doesn’t matter how long you go without writing. If you go on a week vacation and don’t have time. You get to keep your streak as long as you enter the days in the chronological order. Never skip a day. There’s also a map view that shows where the geological data of the photo was taken. Cool to see all the places i’ve been. it doesn’t track you just logs the data in the photo if it even has my favorite feature is the face ID lock. let’s me feel more comfortable writing more personal stuff in my personal daily journal. Amazing app. I recommend to all my friends

The cure for so much

This is the first app review I’ve ever written and it’s because of how important Orca has become to me. I swear by Orca. It forces me to focus on good things. It helps me remember, which is especially hard as I get older. It requires that I find something to celebrate even when the world feels like crap. It gives me a routine. It allows me to make some moments holy in the most secular of ways. If I’m having a good time, I stop to take a picture and post it here. If I’m with someone else, I tell them that I’m marking a good moment in my life with them in that picture. It makes everything that much sweeter. And it’s the exact right amount of time to dedicate each day.

So grateful for this app!

I have been using Orca for over 5 years. I switched to this instead of writing a journal which I found to be increasingly onerous. I love how user friendly Happyfeed is and the ability to add photos and emojis. The best part is being able to look back on any day several years ago and wax nostalgic about the past. Oh and being able to download a report of all your entries. And I also like the collage you can create with different pictures. Gosh so many things to love about Orca!!! Thank you for creating it. I am so much happier for using it 😊

Absolutely loveing it I reckon you get this amazing app

Perfect for quick notes of what made you happy that day.

My first review on here possibly ever.
I love Orca. It helps me focus on the positive while life’s overall theme seems negative. I highly recommend Orca for anyone needing to get out of a funk because it allows you to go back through your memory jar and remember all the little things that made you smile. I rarely keep a habit of journaling or taking the time to write these things down but the application is perfect for me to do just that. 218 day streak and that is a habit record for me! Thanks to the developers for making it possible. :)

Nothing short of perfect

Downloaded this all by the recommendation from Amy Landino. Such an incredible app. I’ve been using it for about 3 years now and it’s so beautiful getting a chance to not only reflect back on the happy moments, but getting a chance to visually see those moments too! As someone who loves using pen & paper to journal, this is such a nice addition to my gratitude practice. I love being able to save these core memories and reflect back on them. Orca has also made some wonderful developments in the last few years, such as adding the option for video and shaking the jar to see your past memories. Highly recommend!

Finally, a journaling app that works for me

Happyfeed has stuck for me better than any other app like it I’ve tried simply because it’s so easy to use. I’m the type of person to get overwhelmed by apps with lots of bells and whistles or ones that expect long entries so Orca’s a perfect fit for me. Plus, recording the good things that happen every day has helped me be more grateful and sets the days apart in my mind so I don’t fall into a rut so easily. Overall it’s worked great for me and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s had similar issues with other apps. :)
As of writing this I have just reached a streak of 300 days in Orca . Here’s to a few hundred more!

Love this app

I have never been able to keep a journal consistently until I started using Happyfeed. It has been so helpful for me to be consistent and to take the time to reflect on my day. Through using Orca for about 9 months now I have been able to see the benefit of having the memories of both good and bad days. I appreciates it user-friendliness and how the streak screen continues to encourage you. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to be more consistent with journaling and just needs a place to start. An added bonus is the community aspect and been able to enjoy life and moments with people even when they are far away.

Great app

Orca just lets you be yourself I feel like you don’t have to show anyone it’s like your own person Al digital diary. I love it because I can just come on Orca and post MY feelings. You can put the settings on private if you don’t want anyone else to see, you can also post it for everyone to see which I love! Orca can have its downs, but I still rate it a five. When I am sad or just wanna type something, or share something I did that day I go to Orca. I live letting people see what I did in the day to have fun, tester I posted and was NOT having fun but that doesn’t matter! I would 100% recommend Orca! It just helps sometimes, or just for fun.

Easy way to record gratitude

Wow, just hit 842 days of gratitude with Orca. I have used the free version but upgraded to the paid version after about a year. I LOVE the ability to add pictures (either version) to my gratitude practice. This has basically become my own little Instagram feed and I love that I can scroll through without the distractions from other people. My spouse has commented that this practice has changed me, and that my outlook on life and the way I view the world is so much more positive and encouraging. ⭐️

I would 100% recommend Orca. I have told so many family members about it. It has helped me stay true to my goal of finding the special moments each day.

I also love the search feature. You can search by name, date or emoji. I assigned each of my family members an emoji and it’s so fun to go back to show my kids the gratitude moments I have that they are involved with. I have not yet printed but I am looking forward to doing that soon and will have a review on the process and picture quality.

A Great App

Highly recommend. Journaling is not an easy habit to form. I will buy a notebook intended for journaling, write for a day or three then life gets in the way and before I know it, 5 months will have passed. Then I sit there staring at the notebook and think—damn, so much has happened I don’t have time to sit and journal all of it. Sound familiar? Orca (sort of) solved that problem for me. It gives me a prompt, I jot down a few things and add a photo (I like to include photos bc it gives me nice reminders of that specific moment in time). And what do you know, I look back and realize that I have been keeping up with my journaling. It is better than nothing! Give it a try!

Best gratitude journal for improving your mental health!

I have been using Happyfeed for several years and can honestly say that it is my favorite app. I am an LCSW and see the value in using positive psychology for improving our mental health. Keeping a gratitude journal has improved my physical, emotional and mental health. I love that I can store videos, photos and stories in my daily gratitude journal and my practice has made such a positive impact on my overall being and this is an app that I share with all of my friends, family, and colleagues. On my blog I’ve written about my daily gratitude practice and how instrumental it has been for my mental health and I always recommend HappyFeed because it’s fun, inspiring and easy to use!

Quirky and fun!

When I first started using happyfeed, it was just a fun way to record my favorite moments. After having it for a couple of years, I can say it genuinely cheers me up on a regular basis as well. I’ve even paid for the full version and can definitely recommend it! I love scrolling through my photos and seeing all my “wonderful” days each month.

Uploading photos and tagging especially good days with an emoji are great features, but one of my favorite things about Orca is the quirky reminders every day. I love the cheesy puns sent every now and then. Moving around quite often, I’m also impressed that the day’s notification is based on your current time zone! Taco puns always come on Tuesday.

Overall a great app that encourages positivity with fun reminders and colorful features :]

The only app I won’t shut up about.

Over 5 years ago I started doing Orca when I was going through a messy breakup. Orca helped teach me to look for the 3 good things in my day. At first it was hard and after some time it got a little easier. Now, when I have the suckiest of days I can normally come up with 3 good things in my day that are be worth recording. They may not be big but I can find the pockets of joy to be grateful for (sunshine, pretty flower, nice interaction with a stranger, etc). I look forward to recording my 3 good things every night and looking back at past memories (some bittersweet but mostly just sweet). The practice of Orca everyday chanced my outlook on life for the better. It may sound corny but it’s the one app I won’t shut up about.

Two years! 730 days!

Been using Orca daily for two years now and I love it! Their customer support is excellent as well, even just for the free version! The free version is complete meaning you don't have to pay for basic use. The upgrade/paid version allows you to do more like export but isn't required for longterm daily use. I am very happy with it and will probably upgrade soon to be able to export but also because I just want to support this awesome app! Definitely recommend!
Pro tip: I read a review once that mentioned a mom who used specific emojis for each kiddo so occasionally she could sit with that kid and search for the positive posts and moments about that specific person! I LOVE that idea and it could definitely be applied to other categories or groups! Enjoy! 💚

[Update] gratitudes do not need to be social

I’ve been using Orca for years and really enjoy it and pay for the monthly subscription. However, the recent update that asks you which followers you want to share your gratitudes with is not only in annoying user experience because it pops up after every gratitude but, additionally, it makes me feel like my personal gratitude. Notes are no longer personal and private. I hope the product team considers removing this added feature or k may be on my way back to pen and paper.

Perfect bite-sized daily positivity:
Orca has beautiful UI and is simple to use. It is fun to look back on the past and see what brought you gratitude and happiness on a day in the past. Every morning I journal my short gratitude and it has changed my outlook in life 🙃

changed my life

After watching the movie Soul and realizing I had a sudden deep desire to better appreciate the small wonderful moments in my life, i downloaded Orca on a whim. And 4 years later I can honestly say it has changed my life and my perspective of it. I find myself looking for things throughout my day that brought me joy and I notice far more simple little moments than I did before. I love that I can add pictures to my entries and go back and look at what made me happy a year or two or three ago and see how I’ve changed and grown. I have not been completely consistent but I am proud to say I’ve competed 874 days of happyfeed and cannot wait for more! I’ve only ever had good experiences with their customer service and Orca has always worked well and without bugs or glitches

Love this Uplifting Social Media App

I love this because it centers around lifting spirits and creating connections between other kind supportive people. I love so much about it. I love that I’m given cues each day on positive thought revoking ideas to journal about. It brings up things I may not have thought about. Amazing and love it! I don’t even like to call it social media, because of all the negative aspects that come along with other social media sites. I think the creators of this should coin the term Social Uplifting Community or something like that! Don’t let the term Social media plague this community! ❤️😊
