So here I am years later. The app is unchanged and still sub-standard in my view. Aside from the app, the support materials are also not very helpful and difficult to follow. Hopefully you never need to re-connect your Bluetooth….. good lluck.

Just bought the BC-402. The Planethealth (English version) is dissappointing. The user interface is very old style and data sharing with Apple Health user is limited. This app seems very old and just patched up over many years. It needs an overhaul. I’m new to Planethealth so I will try to use a bit more, but first experience is not to good. Now there years I am still struggling to get this app to pair with my iPhone. This app is among the WORST apps I have come across.

I see that 5 years ago, and 4 years ago, people were complaining that you measure in cm and kg and have no facility to change to ft/in and st/lb. entire countries use the latter and have no clue what TJ e former means without making complicated calculations. C’mon guys this is not acceptable — please get those changes in.

Also I agree with others who say the instructions are unclear and it’s hard to make it work. I haven’t managed to get it to work properly yet, or interact properly with the phone. The instructions that come with fail to name the app properly; the Bluetooth connection doesn’t work. What a pain for such an expensive device. I will persevere but this is so enraging.

Stopped working

The app used to work flawlessly. When I switched from iPhone 6s Plus to iPhone X, it stopped working.

When I try to activate the bathroom scale RD-901 from the app it simply does not turn on anymore. I unpaired the device, removes batteries from it, deleted and downloaded the app again, tried paring the device again. Yesterday when I did this the app recognized the device. This morning the scale was not working again. I tried all of the above all over again and it didn’t help this time.

Like another reviewer is saying the “OK” button on the “Add Device” screen is not responding. Without a working app this bathroom scale is not worth the price. I’m very frustrated.
